The Automation of Pneumatic Sheet Metal Bending Machine Mechanical Project describes the bending machine which is an essential tool of a machine used to shop sheet metal work. This is generally made for bending of V-die. The bend is created by making use of punch that applies much more force on the die over the work clamped. Mech Project on Automatic Temparature Control of Vaccum Brazing Furnace by using PLC

The important principles of  this  Mech Project on Automatic Temparature Control of Vaccum Brazing Furnace by using PLC  is  to  manage and monitors the temperature constantly of  the  two  zones  in  braze  components  and vacuum brazing  furnace  with the help of chemicals for  the  particular job.

Brazing alloys make use of gas turbines components and aerospace applications which consist of nickel like the base material. Nickel has the largest affinity for oxygen.

The proportional plus integral plus derivative (PID) controller manages the vacuum and temperature and values are completed with the help of PLC (PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER) with ladder diagram programming.

The program is fetched into the programmer-UP25. The PLC includes easy installation, operation, trouble shooting, and exact outputs are achieved. Vacuum brazing furnace is made for brazing the metals in clean situations. The oxidation is ignored and strength of braze is achieved. Therefore the surface cleaning is not needed. The furnace is designed to obtain the maximum temperature of 1350deg C and vacuum level of 5*10power -6.

The instruments are used depending on mechanical motions like leakages, fluctuations, and strength. The modern instruments enhances product quality, increases rate of production, decreases the costs of breakdowns and maintenance, optimize functioning conditions and accuracy, and needs less space. The applications of the instrument aerospace applications, gas turbines, measurement of flow, power production, brazing tips, shrouts, flow nozzles, and gas liners.

Conclusion:

It is concluded that the vacuum furnace is greater than inert gas managed by furnace like oxygen is found to obtain braze and strength. The furnace includes three phases. They are creation of vacuum, heat treatment, and cooling.

The goal of this ANTI THEFT WHEEL LOCKING SYSTEM project is to hinder the theft of bikes with the help of wheel locking system. The solenoid switch is used as the main tool to lock the front wheel of the bike. Solenoid is a device that monitors in linear motion. It includes plunger which moves in too and fro motion and is connected to the battery supply.

The brake lever in disc brake system enables the functions of disc brake. The plan is about to activate the disc brake functions while the ignition key is kept in OFF stage. Hence the program manages the solenoid actions. The programs should be in the form of idle state or ignition key in off. When an unknown person moves the bike then the microcontroller should perform an action by analyzing front wheel motion and it should active the solenoid action.

The solenoid is consisted of voltage of 12volts and current of 5amps. The battery consists of voltage of 12volts and current of 7amps.

 The ailerons are important flight control surfaces present on aircraft. They are small hinged portion present on the outboard section of the wing. These surfaces are movable which control the motion of the longitudinal axis known as roll. They are used to produce the rolling movement for an aircraft.

 Actuator is the tool which aims the process to offer the output. Hence the Aileron Actuator is the tool that forms the ailerons motions. The Gyro or heading indicator can be found in an aircraft to intimate the pilot where he is heading. It functions on gyroscope available with the aircraft horizontal.

 Flight dynamics is about the air and space science vehicle orientation which manages in three dimensions. The aircraft roll control consists of components and functions like controller gain, aileron actuator, aircraft dynamics, and gyro. The auto pilot system decreases the work burden of pilot. The pilot roll control removes the exhaustion to control the aircraft by the pilot. The system is used for auto missiles to manage the roll angle. It enables the aircraft for the control of auto pilot.

The air conditioning system is designed to monitor the indoor environment such as temperature, relative humidity, air movement etc. in an economical method with Auto-CAD MEP.

 Heating ventilating and air-conditioning HVAC is to make the mechanical services which are consist of fire protection, plumbing, and escalators. Air-conditioning is the method of heating, cooling, ventilation, or disinfection which changes the air condition. The aim of an HVAC system offers an environment with energy of qualities like cost effective, efficient, healthy and comfortable indoor environment with indoor air quality.

 The conditioning system is based on two systems. They are central systems and decentralized systems. The difference among central and decentralized systems is critical based on architecture view.

 Generally, the conditioning systems are classified into four methods. They are all-air system, all-water system, air-water system, and unitary refrigerant based system. The HVAC system acts like thermal zones with major components present out of the zone. The central air conditioning systems includes three major parts. They are an air system, water system, and central plant.

The decentralized system acts like a single thermal zone with components present inside the zone. It is divided into individual systems and unitary systems.

Conclusion:

The project includes AutoCAD MEP program and building information modeling (BIM) software which is used to design the air conditioning system. The cooling load is designed to make a central air conditioning system. The software imports the information and it is utilized for duct sizing and to choose the equipment.

Air Defense Gun Mech Project

The scope of this AIR DEFENSE GUN Mech Project is to progress a system to manage the motion of air defense gun climbed on the tank. On considering an indigenous tank helps to understand this project better which is designed by CVRDE and DRDO. It is composed of turret and hull with three hatches. The four crew members present are loader, driver, gunner, and commander.

 The equipments of tank are three guns which are machine gun, main gun, and air defense gun. The main gun makes use of HESH and FSAPDS like the coaxial machine gun, ammunition, and air defense machine gun. The defense gun is present on the hatch of the loader of the tank which is maintained by the loader. It can target the flying armored vehicles.

 This project focuses on gunner’s safety with the embedded systems to locate the air defense gun without exposing gunner. The project’s scope makes a conceptual model allowing the power with the motion of air defense gun replacing of the manual operation.

 The air defense gun is maneuvered in planes of vertical and azimuth. The loader requires defense gun in the hatch situation and attack the enemy and the manual operation is a tiring action. The system must attack target by a sight with the goal of attacking in hatch condition by elevating and depressing gun.

 Conclusion:

 The Air Defense Gun project concludes on a system that can rotate the hatch of the loader in clockwise and anticlockwise direction by 360 degree. The movement of gun is from -10 degree to +70 degree. The system needs automatic stopping of gun motion when it performs the extreme condition in the vertical position.
