Development of Advanced Embedded System for Accident Avoidance projects main idea is to develop a application which can prevent accidents caused by vehicle by providing information about position of the vehicle. This system uses satellite communication for finding accurate point of the vehicle. Information is calculated based on the edges of the road and edges of the other vehicle and data is stored in the memory for further usage. If there is any objects closer to the vehicle warning alarm is initiated.

This project uses distance sensing senor for calculating distance between objects surrounding by a vehicle. Using this sensor distance calculation is done continuously and information is send to micro controller for taking decisions. Based on this information driver can detect movement of other vehicles and drive securely.

Real Time Pedestrian Detection and Tracking at Night Time for Driver Assistance System

Real time Pedestrian Detection and Tracking at Night Time for Driver Assistance System project main idea is to develop a pedestrian detection application for drivers to take precautions from accidents. In recent times most of the accident sufferers are pedestrians that too at night time. So this system will provide solution for this problem by providing warning sound to drivers when the sensors sense pedestrians on the road at certain distance.

In order to sense pedestrians from certain distance this application uses PIR passive infra red sensors which can easily detect human beings and send message to micro processor.

There are few more advanced systems used in this application like LPC2148(ARM7) micro controller which are mainly used in mobile systems and Keil is used as software Tool.

Zigbee Based Intelligent Helmet For Coal Miners Projects main idea is to develop a wireless based application through which coal mine engineers can organize parameters like temperature, humidity in coal mines and take required precautions based on the information.

This application is developed using intelligent helmets which work as voice terminal and sensors for reading environmental parameters and update information using wireless network.

Engineers will analyze temperature, methane gas , humidity …etc parameters and update information to workers inside coal mines using a voice based communication system. Using this application we can increase safety problems in coal production.

Tracking Police Man Using RF Proximity Card

Tracking police man using RF proximity card embedded system project explains about new method for bank officials for checking their security of the bank by implementing accurate method to control police officials. In present scenario banks are playing important role in providing security for people for saving their money, gold..Etc. So banks are taking serious steps to maintain security like hiring police officials at night time for patrolling banks, but there are chances in irregularity of police officials so this method will provide card system for every police official who should scratch his card. Data and time is stored inside system which can connect to computer and analyze details of his attendance.  Functionality RTC is providing the clock with date and time, and this date and time is displaying in LCD. When the police man swipe the card, RF reader will read the card and decode the card value. Decoded card value is send to microcontroller. Microcontroller is receiving the card value and the card value is stored in external EEPROM memory with the swiped date and time. Details of the card swiping are retrieved by connecting the machine to a PC. After connecting to PC through serial port, valid password is required to retrieve the data. Upon successful entry of the password data will transfer from machine to PC.

Touch Screen Operated Liquid Dispensing System

Touch Screen Operated Liquid Dispensing System application need to handle different parameters that to be handled. This projects uses temperature sensors. Sensors are located at different points to sense temperature variations. Micro controller will handle information from sensors for further processing. Graphic LCD display is used for displaying messages.

In this process as we have to reach our requirement we assign a certain Set-Points for the sensor to monitor the temperature (Ex; Temperature-39 degrees). Based on temperature variations motor operations will set on or off.If the value from the sensor gets below the Set point, the microcontroller drives the heater ‘ON’ and starts the heating to reach the set point.  This is a cyclic process. Touch screen is used to set the Set-Points for the sensor to monitor.

A typical graphics LCD system is shown in Figure 1. The system consists of a microcontroller, a LCD controller (digital-control logic, optional graphic accelerator, image buffer, gate driver), and a LCD glass.

FPRS Based School Management System (Abstract)

The main objective of this FPRS Based School Management System project is to develop an embedded system, which will record the time and attendance of a student in a school or college using finger print recognition.

          Whenever the students enters the school he puts his finger on the embedded system, then the embedded system will recognize the student by comparing his details with the stored data, it will register time of entry and attendance using the internal RTC of an LPC2148 microcontroller.

The system can work standalone and can also be integrated to a computer using RS-232 port. The complete code for the embedded system is going to be developed using C-Language. 

The main advantage of this project is more secure and it can avoids unauthorized members entry inside school,college or university gate.

 By using this Design and Development of FPRS, ZIGBEE Based Passport Verification technique the details of the person will be stored and recognized by the fingerprint reorganization system and information will be stored in the microcontroller’s memory. Person details will be checked by using FPRS module and information will be displayed on the LCD and sends to the immigration room through Zigbee based wireless technology.

FPRS Based Visitor Control For Secure Areas (Abstract)

This Project “Design and development of FPRS based visitor control for secured areas” is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of counting number of visitors very accurately and control the visitors

The main objective of this Final Year Project Report is to develop an access control system which will authenticate the users using FPRS and users can access using the embedded system. It can be useful in book tracking in libraries, employ time, attendance and access control, product tracking in product assembly.

 In this Embedded System Project we are going to develop embedded system which will authenticate the users using FPRS, so that the unauthenticated users can be avoided. Every user’s finger prints stored in the memory. When the user comes to secured areas like Atomic/ defence Establishments, he can put the finger on reader to access the particular place, FPRS reader will detect the user automatically, it will give the access. . When any visitor visits the counter is incremented by one and if the count exceeds the maximum value the Buzzer rings. The total number of interruptions is also displayed on the LCD. This will completely automate the access control process.

This Project can be used in defense & Atomic space Establishments, The main advantage & best feature of this project is more secure and allows only selected people into the prohibited premises.

Design And Development Of FPRS, RFID Based Petro Card System (Abstract)

Design And Development Of FPRS, RFID Based Petro Card System using of Finger print based bio metric systems also increasing the secure areas.

In this RFID Based Petro Card System project, RFID cards are used as prepaid petro cards , Finger prints are used to check for the authorized person(use full for avoiding misusing by others when the card is lost) . Using this technique each card’s number is assigned with certain amount of money depending upon prepaid money in the microcontroller’s memory.

In the petrol bunks, the customer can use card he can pay the bill from the pre paid card. He put the card at the RFID Reader and need to show finger print at finger print module, then user enters the how much amount petrol getting in to vehicle through the keypad in litters. Then the embedded system reduces the amount from the card and shows balance on the LCD display.

This Embedded System Project can be used at petrol bunks & Avoids carrying money every time.
