Introduction: This project is about the hotel management system. There are different types of apps are circulating all around which gives us an idea about the new system of hotel management. The sites like Oyo, trivago, and just dial are the best successful startups in India which define how people are shifting from offline areas to online ones. People now prefer the easy way that always makes their life easy.

In this project, we develop a web page for a hotel management site that includes the type of rooms, login, and signup options for new users who want to join the site for further use. Different types are rooms are categorized under one section of the web page, check-in and checkout options are available we can online book the rooms and after any further query, we can modify or drop our room type or our booking.

And also it includes the address and contact number of the officials and members of the hotel if there is any issue is there for customers can easily contact and resolve their issue.

Nowadays we all know very well that people are shifted to the world of the internet. If any random person goes to some unknown place and needs to take a hotel what he can do in an unknown place? That is why the internet is the best thing around us. Our HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based web application project is to develop a hotel management system.

It consists of hotel booking, Types of rooms, classes of rooms, and different booking sites. How people can contact the manager to get the details or to consult for future booking the Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts are also linked to the homepage.

This website is developed using HTML & to add designs and make it more attractive we used CSS and JavaScript to make it as best as we can. Different photos are included to give customers about the hotel.

This system is used to book hotel rooms and it is also used on OYO and other booking sites. Check-in and Checkout options are included with Signup and log in as an Existing Customer or New Customer options are available.

In our group, three members are present. The preparation of the synopsis for this project is made and the layout for the project is created. The coding part is done by all the members of the group as we manage to create a better layout with different ideas and different views that can create the best of one web page for us.

Different links are provided on the home page to get into from Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. On this web page, you can select different types of rooms on basis of your requirement as ac, and non-ac rooms are available. Customers can book the rooms online and made online payments and book your room. This site is just like how Oyo and different booking sites work.

The Scope of this project is to develop a Web Application using the concept of File Structures (Variable Length), which makes users run it on a simple browser that is user-friendly in the current era and it is very easy for the browser to send and receive data over the internet.

Problem Statement

In Pharmacy Management System all the data related to inventory, sales, stocks, and billings are kept in paper records, managing all these records is a difficult task. The time required to manage all these activities is considerably high. In order to overcome these problems, we can use Pharmacy Management System.

The role of Information Technology in Pharmacy practice is dynamic and not likely to lose relevance in the coming years. Pharmacists are interested in Information Technology because it increases efficiency in our daily tasks and improves the accessing of information stored.

Users of Pharmacy computer systems are generally limited to Pharmacy staff members, who are given usernames and passwords to access the system to ensure Data Protection.

This allows the employer to prevent unauthorized access to protected health information and keep a record of who performed each task in case an error occurs. Pharmacy staff should protect their usernames and passwords and avoid giving them out to unauthorized individuals. Backup and maintenance of pharmacy computer systems are essential to the continued function of the system.

Future Work

In addition to the existing Pharmacy Management System project, we look forward to reaching many people by making it Open Source. It can be done by hosting this project on a cloud server like Heroku.

Since we are using a text document to store the data it can be placed in scalable object storage like Amazon S3 and then a Data Pipeline can be built between them.

“Online Complaints, Suggestions, and Compliances” is a website and through this project, we have learned to design webpages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. It has enabled us to have a deeper understanding of how frameworks help in the development of websites.

Thus, in this College Complaints Suggestions and Compliances project, we have acquired a lot of knowledge about various technologies in web development. We have explored many new concepts on the web, such as JavaScript and AJAX.

Solving these problems must be quick and transparent. Often, Students shy away from writing complaints and suggestions into the box, as students are afraid of peer views of their actions.

Problem Statement:

A College Complaints Suggestions and Compliances Web Application to allow students to raise complaints and suggestions transparently without exposing their identity.

The Objectives of this application are:

  • Allows students to log in with E-mail verification before submission of complaints and suggestions
  • Allows students to track their submissions from their portal
  • Allows teachers to reply and change the status of the submissions without exposing student’s USN
  • Provides a pie chart representing the types of submissions
  • Admin can block submissions using foul languages

Steps Involved:

Step 1: The web application loads the home page. With options of Student, Teacher, and Admin
Step 2: On selecting Student, the user must first log in using the login page. On successful login, the user is greeted with the student portal.
Step 3: The student portal allows users to check the status of the previous complaints, and suggestions.
Step 4: Students can click to submit complaints and suggestions, after the verification page using email verification.
Step 5: The student can click on the logout option and is then taken to the login page, which has the option to return to the home page
Step 6: On clicking the teacher option on the home page, the teacher has to log in. They are then taken to the teacher’s home page. The teacher can choose to view complaints and suggestions.
Step 7: On clicking on a complaint/suggestion is taken to the auction page. Where the teacher can change the status of the complaint with the option to reply.
Step 8: After replying, the teacher is taken back to the teacher’s home portal. On logging out, you are taken to the login page, with the option to be redirected to the home page
Step 9: On clicking the Admin option on the home page, the admin has to log in. They are then taken to the Admin home page. Admin can choose to view complaints and suggestions which are blocked due to the use of foul language. After allowing or disallowing the admin is returned to the Admin home portal. On logging out, you are taken to the login page, with the option to be redirected to the home page.

Functionalities

Login: This module allows students, teachers, and Admin to log in with different access to web pages and controls. The username and hash of the password are compared with the Tables stored in the Database.

Signup: This module allows students, teacher, and Admin to register their access to the web application. By signing up the user is registered in the Database, so that their login credential is saved for future logins.

Complaint and Suggestion Form: This module allows students to fill up complaints or suggestions. Before uploading to Database. It checks for any foul language violation. It marks the entry to be checked by the admin, before allowing it to be viewed by the teacher.

Student Submission view: This module allows students to view the status and reply to their complaints or suggestions previously raised. On clicking the user can re-open a submission.

Verification: Students have to enter the One-time password (OTP) sent to their email to verify the authenticity of the complaint and suggestions. This module is implemented using PHPMailer Library.

Teacher submission view: This module allows concerned teachers to view the complaints and suggestions without revealing students’ USN. On selecting a submission, the teacher can update the status, reply to the same, and notify the same to the student’s email.

Admin unblock submission: Display submissions flagged due to misuse of the platform. Allows admin to unblock the submission if it is appropriate, and updates the same in Database.

Application

  • This application can be used in all colleges to collect Complaints and suggestions
  • It can be viewed by a teacher without relieving student’s use
  • Students get updated by their emails when the status of their submissions changes
  • The teacher can view a pie chart representing the type of submission. So, they can concentrate on a given area
  • Submissions using foul language are blocked and are reviewed by Admin

The internet is a very powerful platform for people to share their views in confidence. This Web Technology Mini Project draws further on the notion of the same lines, allowing Students to place complaints and suggestions without relieving their identity. In this module date and time, the quantity of blood received along with hospital details is recorded.

Here we can check the availability of each blood group blood.

RESULT AND ANALYSIS

The login page shows the login page, if the user wants to log in, they must enter a valid/registered username and password and click on the login button.

Add person page shows once the entry of personal details is done.

The search person page shows the result of the search we have done. If we enter the person’s id it will return all the personal records present in the database.

The donation page shows the New donation page, here person id and units of blood donated are recorded, and submit button is clicked. On successful completion of entering it displays “Your donation is successful”.

Receive page shows the New Receive page, here person id, units of blood donated, and hospital details are recorded, and submit button is clicked. On successful completion of entering it displays “Your receiving is successful”.

Check the Stock page shows the stock details i.e units of blood present in the blood bank of each blood group.

The donation History page shows the Donation history page, the user has to give the time interval from when he wants to see the donation history details. Upon clicking submit he shows the donation history. If there is a donation that took place at that time interval it displays “No record found in the specified time interval”.

Receive History page shows the Receiving history page, the user has to give the time interval from when he wants to see the receive history details. Upon clicking submit he shows the received history. If there is receiving of blood that took place at that time interval it displays “No record found in the specified time interval”.

Add user page shows the add user page, where it asks for the super admin password. Next, you have to enter the new username, and password and confirm the password. Click on create user button. If the super admin password is wrong or the password and confirms password don’t match. It will pop an invalid password. On successfully creating a user it will display “New user created successfully”.

College Classroom Appliances Repair and Maintenance System App

Implementation

This College Electronic items Repair and Maintenance System App has been implemented to accept complaints against damaged fans and lights in the classroom and to show the status of the registered complaint.

The college classroom-specific android mobile app has two sides, the user end, and the admin end. The user end is for the class CRs which allows them to lodge complaints, view the status of the complaint, and see the complaint’s history. Whereas, on the admin end, the admin can view the lodged complaints and can update the status of the complaint.

User end Project development:

First, after opening the Repair and Maintenance System App, a login page appears. The user must log in to the app, with his/her respective login ID and password. If the details match with any of the CR’s details, then the app will be directed to the user side. After logging in, a page with all the room numbers is displayed.

When the respective room is selected, the user is directed to a page where he will be asked to select the fan number or the light number that needs repairs. On clicking the submit button, the complaint will be lodged successfully.

On the home page, there is a menu bar towards the extreme left, which has two options-complaints books and logout. The complaints book has information about all the complaints that have been lodged to date.

The status of the complaint whether it is repaired, or it is still pending, is shown for each complaint. By using the logout option, the user can log out of the app. This is the user side of the app.

Admin end project development:

When the given user ID and password match with the details of the admin, then the College items Repair System App will be directed to the admin side. After the admin logs in, he will be directly navigated to the complaints book. Here, he can view all the complaints, old as well as new ones, that have been registered. At the end of each entry, he has the option to update the status of that entry.

Conclusion:

The ultimate goal of this Final year android-based mini or major project is to eliminate the huge loss of man-hours and manual intervention. The goal is to provide an effective platform to lodge complaints and also to maintain a chain of responsibility and efficiently attend to complaints.

The entire academic project has been built according to the requirements stated and can be implemented without errors. The complaints can be stored and can be monitored. The is very useful as it would reduce stress and it is very easy to use. This process is less time-consuming and is highly reliable.

 This proposed system maintains the backlog of subjects and details of all students. This system generates the reports of the students like subject wise, roll number wise & cumulative. When the students clear their backlogs they remove from this system.

Requirement Analysis

 The project is to provide Backlogs to the student in a simple way. This project is useful for students and educational institutions for getting the Backlogs in a simple manner. As a result analyzer with subject status is an application tool for displaying the Backlogs insecure way. So that valuable student data/information can be stored for a longer period of time with easy access and manipulation can be done. Basically, the project describes how to manage for good performance and better services to the users.

Module Division

This system contains two modules namely:

Admin Module

Admin performs the basic tasks of Add/View/Delete Regulation, Subjects, and Backlogs of students. And generate the reports student-wise, subject-wise, department-wise, and cumulative.

User Module

User Faculty can search different types of reports such as student wise, subject wise, department wise, and cumulative. User Student can search their Backlogs using valid roll numbers.

Conclusion and Future Work

The project “Backlog Management System” is a PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL web portal that is useful to store the details of Backlogs. This system is managed by the staff of the department. Staff updates the backlog of student details along with course details for example Regulations, Department, Subject codes, Subject names, etc. So that valuable student data/information can be stored for a longer period of time with easy access and manipulation can be done. This project is useful for students and educational institutions for getting the Backlogs in a simple manner.

This Final Year academic project generates the reports of the students subject-wise, roll number wise & cumulative. Finally, staff can analyze which subjects are frequently failed by students. In this case, faculty and students can check the Backlogs whenever they needed.

Development of Life Improvisation System Java Project

Life Improvisation System is a Java-based GUI application project which aims to develop an eco-system-based application that can generate indexes for citizen safety, nutrition, and education in a community and serve them a better life.

Problem Statement

  • Health, Education, and safety are the essentials of mankind in modern society.
  • The health conditions of citizens should be improved, especially for those who are underprivileged.
  • The prominence of education should be acknowledged to parents who are deprived and their children shall be enrolled in any nearby school.
  • Safety is more a right of every citizen which can be improved and information on critical incidents are to be immediately notified to people.
  • Future living conditions of any place should be determined for helping citizens live a better life.

Solution

  • A powerful Life Improvisation System ecosystem-based application that collects data of citizens on the below aspects.
  • Improper health conditions of underprivileged people are treated by doctors in a local hospital being funded by private firms or privileged ones.
  • Children are enrolled in a high school by campaigning about the importance of education, conducted by higher standard students of the same school. This process can again be funded by any private firms.
  • Acknowledging any critical incident to all the people in any region before it becomes news and improving safety measures by a collection of reported incidents.
  • perform data analysis of accumulated data over a period to derive inferences.

Use cases

Safety Module

  • Citizens report a critical situation to the police for authentication and approval.
  • After approval, the message is delivered to all users of the application in that region.
  • Increase of patrol and safety measures based on the accumulated data of the activities reported dynamically.

This Safety Module has the functionality to enable a user to alert other users in a community of a threat situation around it. This also involves a Police officer for authentication of any incident reported by a user. Further improvement of police patrolling or conduction of law awareness camps can be organized based on the crime index calculated for a locality. 

Health Module

  • Volunteers report information on the ill health of people in a community to doctors.
  • A doctor then suggests the treatment required and the tests that should be undergone and forward the same request to CSR heads of private firms.
  • A CSR head can either fund the request or can even reject it.
  • The unique feature here is to provide a platform for every citizen to help other needful citizens(patients).

A volunteer group assigned to a community collects data on the food habits and diseases prevailing in that community and uploads it into this application for doctors to see the data. Doctors then come up with action items to be taken and the volunteer group then takes the action item list and requests any prior enrolled Private organizations for financial support and serves the community with necessary items.

Education Module

  • Volunteers collect details of the educational background of children in a region and send them to schools in that region.
  • Higher standard students of school conduct camps and register students based on volunteer reports.
  • Vacancies are created in school based on registrations done in the camps and funds need to accommodate those vacancies are generated.
  • The principal then requests CSR Head for the funds and gets the children enrolled.

A volunteer collects the educational details of people in a locality and generates an education index for each community in a locality. This index is useful for universities to come up with intensive programs with volunteer camps to educate them.
