Voice Enabling System for Blind People Using GPS Project Abstract

If we want to go to a function at a not so known place and we don’t know anything about that place like culture, language etc. what we would do, it would be extremely difficult to reach our desired destination. This is a problem faced by all of us regularly, most of the cases we lose our way which would lead to loss of precious time, energy and money. For most of us, who are normal and healthy at least can reach the destination somehow but for some unfortunates like the blind people finding a location becomes an extremely tedious process. They will be in need of continuous help and companionship till they reach their desired destination.

To overcome all this problems there are numerous global positioning system or commonly known as GPS satellites revolving around the earth, which gives continuous updates on where we are and where we are heading. There will be GPS receivers installed or with a person which will receive signals from the satellite and helps the user to navigate to their desired location.  These receivers are actually embedded systems and are loaded with software to read and display signals in a graphic map format, most of these receivers will also have a sound output where a voice will be telling our exact position and how much distance is to go before the preferred destination.

It would be of extreme help for blind people as they would be navigated with the help of the voice instruction coming from the audio output, now they can go anywhere they can without anybody’s help and assistance. All they would need to do is turn on the device and just say the place to go; the device would then calculate the distance and the route to that specific place:

Voice Enabling System Technology and Architecture of a GPS Receiver

The main component of the embedded system is the microcontroller; there would be an in built GPS antenna which captures signals and give it to the GPS receiver which would be attached to the microcontroller. There would be also sensors determining ultrasonic sounds, obstacles, altitude etc. A power supply unit will be there for supplying energy. The voice output is provided through a built in speaker

A Remote Home Security System Based On Wireless Sensor Network and GSM Technology Project Report

Introduction:

This paper elaborates the working of the home security alarm system developed by employing WSN and GSM technology. WSN technology has the capability to detect object information in dangerous conditions. By using GSM networks we can transfer information to large distances. A system  software is developed in C51 which sends and receives data, and at the same time gives an alarm when a dangerous condition is encountered. Zigbee is used for wireless communication of the devices connected in a area. Zigbee technology is employed because it is highly transmission efficient and it can send signals without any attenuation during the time of gas leaking and fire attacks. MSP430F135 microcontroller used as it as it as low power consummating device.

System architecture:

The WSN has an data collecting unit which converts the sensor signals and sends to the processing unit, where the information gets processed and is placed on a wireless network for transmitting. A wireless control unit interconnects both GSM module and WSN center node module so that messages given by the WSN is sent to GSM module. The GSM module uses the GPRS networks for transmitting messages to the mobile phones. A target detection algorithm is employed for effective elimination of environment changes.

Applications and future scope;

This type of models are used in industries, companies , banks and homes for detecting the security threats. This can send the message within a few seconds after the detection of threat. The time taken for the threat detection is a bit slow so certain new algorithms are to be employed for fast detection of targets. Thus we can conclude that this model is useful to prevent the sudden occurring threats.

Collide Vehicle Information Capturing Using Gps and Gsm Technologies Project

The main aim of this Collide Vehicle Information Capturing Using Gps and Gsm Technologies project is to get the vehicle information using the GSM and GPS technologies, this GSM is the global system for mobile (to get the vehicle information using SIM (subscriber identity module)), and GPS (global system for mobile) is used to find the vehicle location and to get the information when the accident occur, in this project the components used are accident switch, microcontroller, GPS modem, GSM modem, buzzer, ADC analog to digital converter, LCD- liquid crystal display, the software used are embedded c, keil IDE software, this project is mainly used in the industrial usage, coalmines, transportation system, object recognition,  whenever accident occur then the sensor detect the vehicle and give the information based on the threshold value selected, if the threshold value exceeded then sensor give the information to the microcontroller, and the sensed data is in the analogy form then the data has to convert to the digital form, this can be done using the analogy to digital converter, then this digital data send to the microcontroller, then compare this value with fixed threshold value, if the threshold value exceeds then the microcontroller send the information to the mobile using GSM, to find exact location using the GPS.

Vehicle Information Communication Safety Combined With Mobile RFID System Project

The main aim of this Vehicle Information Communication Safety Combined with Mobile RFID System project is to get vehicle information using Radio frequency identification tag. This ECE project mainly use the equipments of microcontroller of type LPC2148, it is a 64-pin device, RF ID reader is used to drive the vehicle, when the tag is shown to the vehicles microcontroller then access the tag and the information regarding which person is using the vehicle is directly send to the owner by using the GSM technology. In this GSM technology GSM modem is used this modem contains the SIM and the RF ID tag contains the memory, tag consists battery because tag has to send the microwaves to the microcontroller to access. So we need a battery in the tag, there are several types of the batteries, one is chargeable and other is rechargeable batteries and also here using the regulator, filters, rectifier.

The software used in this project are KEIL IDE, embedded C Programming Language, the tag internally it has some memory where one identification is present then that information is sent to the owner by using GSM modem. This project mainly used when the owners having more vehicles so to access the data regarding vehicles which rout the vehicle is going and drivers information, and in this project we can use the accident switches in the front and back side. These switches are connected to the microcontroller. Whenever accident occurs the switches are pressed and the GSM modem send the information to the owner but this project not give the information regarding the vehicle position.

Seminar Topic on Security for the Third Generation (3G) Mobile System

The main aim of this 3G Security project is to provide the Security for the Third Generation (3G) Mobile System, to implement this ECE project we have to provide the authentication it means it has to not allow to access unauthorized persons, avoid the problem with the in adequate algorithms, the transmitted data should be in encrypted form so that in the circuit we have to use the encoder circuit and in the receiver section we can use the decoder for the conversion of encoded form to original form. The SIM (subscriber identity module) can manage by network operators, she network can manageable by network operators, and the application layer should be in secure position, transparency.

There is the problem with the GSM security those are active attacking, key transmission, limited encryption of data scope, channel hijack, implicit data security, weak encryption algorithms, unsecured terminal i.e. IMEI is not secured, lack of visibility. So by using 3G the security of the data is provided. The key security features are authentication, IMEI integrity. In these the GSM features are compatible and most useful and provide the integrity. So by using this technology the third generation data security can be made. This btech final year project is mainly using all signalling networks to provide the security compared to 2G.
