INTRODUCTION: As it is easily imaginable, we all would like to have no errors when transmitting data over the Internet or any other media, but defects in materials, interferences and other sources can Corrupt the data, so we have to provide the communication with ways of detecting and if possible correcting those errors. It could be highly desirable to be able to check this in an ccurate and fast way, and therefore many different strategies have been developed in the early years, but almost all were based in performing some kind of mathematical operation over the bits we are transmitting.  In this way, the so-called CRC was rapidly widespread as a good way of checking errors. A mathematical operation is performed over the data that is going to be sent, and the result is appended at the end of the data, thus resulting the packet that will actually be sent. At the far end of the channel, the same operation is made. If the result is the one expected then there have not been problems. Else, the data is corrupted and something will have to be made (this “something” is out of the scope of the CRC generator; it is usually an issue corresponding to the upper layers of the communication protocol). 

There are various methods available for serial (example USB) and parallel (example PCI bus) communication protocols.  With this motivation I would like to study various serial and parallel communications protocols needs for CRC and would like the implement the same.

Super Intelligent Robot Using Smoke Sensor and Light Projects Abstract

AIM:

Super intelligent robot using smoke sensor and light projects main idea is to develop a robot application which can direct its path automatically based on light.

Description:

            In this project TCS230 is the color sensor, which senses color intensity and converts into frequency with 50% duty cycle Square waveform. Measurement of frequency is done using micro controller. This sensor is having internally 3 filters and is programmable, to select desired filter. By this we can get selected compositions of the irradiant light. By using this sensor we can find color of the object.

There are two other sensors used in this application mainly light sensing and smoke sensing. Light sensor is used to display color that falls on LDR surface and display color information on LCD display. And the other sensor smoke sensor is used to detect smoke and microcontroller will set alarm. 

Procedure:

            The LDR color sensor can directly interface with the microcontroller. If this color sensor is irradiant with any color, it produces 3 different frequency outputs to the microcontroller by selecting the respective RGB filters present in it. Then microcontroller calculates HUE % value with these three composition values. According to this calculated HUE value microcontroller displays that color name.

Industrial Safety Measures System with Sensors and Webcam Abstract

Industrial safety measures system with sensors and webcam projects main idea is to develop a application which can provide security for industries by using sensors and webcams. In industries like pharmaceuticals and chemical industries contnous monitoring is very important so this application will be very useful for in reality. 

For any application in the industries there are many parameters to be handled. In this project we are concentrating on temperature and smoke sensors. These sensors are fixed at specified locations, for our application to be performed. The Sensors gather the values and sends the information to the microcontroller continuously. The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the LCD to display. This is a cyclic process which performs till our requirement is done.

In order to reach project requirement we need to reach our standards by allotting certain set points for every sensor for monitoring. If the Temperature Sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Fan ‘ON’ and starts cooling. If the Smoke sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Buzzer ‘ON’ and alerts the operator. This is under safety process. In this project we are connecting the webcam for visibility of changing the parameter conditions.

  Applications for this are Industries with heavy parameters to handle, complicated areas where we can’t monitor the conditions manually; these are Now-a-days used in all kind of industrial and commercial complexes.

Vehicle Accessing Using Authentication Project Abstract

Vehicle accessing using authentication project main aim of this project is to develop a RFID based system for vehicle authentication. In this system RFID tags will communicate with RFID reader module at a frequency of 125KHZ. This frequency is passed to controllers for further usage. RFID reader and RFID tags must be set to same frequency for communication between them.

                        To obtain the required parameters we assign different RFID tags to every vehicle that is to be authorized to pass through. These RFID tags have a range of 8-10cm when ever the vehicle that is assigned with these RFID tags enters the ENTRY/EXIT gates the RFID reader recognizes the RFID Tag and accesses the prior permission to the vehicle by opening the gate. The Microcontroller reads the RFID tag code and displays the time of the vehicle ENTRY/EXIT by using RTC (Real Time Clock) and displays it on the LCD.

                        Application of this kind can be used in offices, apartments, industries, colleges, Government or Private Sectors where there is a need to allow only authorized or secured vehicles to ENTER/EXIT in a particular area or zone.

RFID Based Home/Office security system Project Abstract

This project RFID based Home/Office security system is developed to build a security system for a home/office to prevent the other persons to enter into the important room/chamber by controlling radio frequency identification by checking a suitable rfid card. 

            The rfid tag gives the unique id when ever it reads the card information. This id information is send to the micro controller to check the correct card to take a security action. If the card id matches with the original information, it allows entering into the room, if not gives the buzzer as an indication of wrong person tried to enter into the room.

In present system there are no efficient methods for accurate identifications, there are certain places where accuracy is important mainly in banking, health care and government sectors. This application will provide RFID tag based system which uses micro controller. 

RFID is one the fast growing technology all over the world for identifying and tracing goods. This system can help hospitals to find expensive equipment in less time and provide better services for patients. This technology is also widely used in pharmaceuticals and logistics.

Autonomous Robot Project Abstract

Autonomous robot project main objective is to develop a application which can sense objects in the path when vehicle is in move. This application uses Infra red sensor technology to sense objects which are present in front of the moving object. Infra red is a regularly used in short distance remote systems like audio and video systems like tv and audio systems. This application works for only short distance. 

This application uses GP2Y0A21YK0F which is a distance measuring sensor which is integrated with IR,PSD and IRED. In general there are many factors like temperature, and environmental factors which will cause sensors a wrong information or errors in calculating distance but in this system triangular method is used which solve this problem and calculate accurate distance between objects. This sensors can also be used as proximity sensors and the distance measurement is from 10 to 80 cm. 


The micro controller always measures the voltage giving by the sensor and whenever the obstacle occurs it takes a control action to turn into a left/right direction. Hence the robot avoids the colliding from any object.

Manchester Code Decoding Controls the Robot Direction by TV Remote

Manchester code decoding controls the robots direction by TV remote projects explains about developing a robotics application which can run just by a TV remote. Basically small range remote control systems like video and audio controls run using infrared rays which is just a light which cannot visible to human eye. So developing a remote controlled robot using IR technology will be cheaper and easy but which can work at small range.

         This projects main idea is to sense robots motion and control its motion using wireless IR data communication. When we access the remote by pressing a key, the IR transmitter sends a signal to the Receiver which is assembled to the robot as bursts of non-visible light. The Receiver in the other end is a photodiode or photo receptor that detects and captures the light pulses, which are then processed to retrieve the information they contain.

Here we are using TSOP1738 receiver, it collects the signal that is transmitted from the IR transmitter and it gives the signal in the form of RC5. Then the microcontroller captures the RC5 format and controller performs the necessary action by sending the data to the robot through a DC motor driver L293D, like moving the robot LEFT, RIGHT, FRONT or BACK. Advantages are easy to use, simpler and quicker. Applications are for sending robot’s to harsh environments, industrial applications etc.

Intruder Alarm System Abstract

Intruder Alarm system project main idea is to develop a application which can provide security for house from thief. Generally burglars enter in to house from windows or from main doors. So this application works on infrared signals. IN this system there are two types of systems one which works internally and one which work externally. This project mainly deals with internal design i…e, system setup is inside the house. External setup is not accurate and there are chances of wrong calculation. Infrared rays are connected to control panel which is connected to external devices like alarms, mobile phones. Whenever doors are opened infrared rays will send signals to control panel and it will set alarm or call to police or owner based on our initial setup.                                 

The major action in this system is controlled by transmitter section; this section consists of IR transmitter and IR receiver. Here we need to generate IR frequency continuously, so that by using a small tiny microcontroller, frequency is produced and is connected to the IR led to generate IR light rays of 38 kHz frequency.

IR receiver continuously receives the signals from the transmitter .when ever the light path in between IR transmitter and IR receiver cuts by an intruder, receiver signal gives low to high pulse. By connecting the receiver output to the micro controller interrupt pin, it gives interrupt to the microcontroller. Immediately the system gives the buzzer.

 Applications can be used in areas where Trespassing is prohibited, Industries where authentication is required and people who need privacy.

Embedded Password Based Security Door Lock System Using At89s52

Embedded password based security door lock system projects main idea is to provide security for every home by implementing security system for doors using microcontroller. This project uses automated password system for opening and closing door. Microcontroller takes password inputs form keypad input and when input matches with the stored password then door will open else alarm will rise.

 It may also contain a pick gun which is an instrument that vibrates and push several lock pins at the same time.

            The main goal of this project is develop an embedded password security door lock system using microcontroller. In this project we are going to use 4x4keypad to enter the security lock. Here microcontroller place major role which is nothing but decision of door opening. Here predefined password is stored in microcontroller. We have to write a code such that whenever password is entered from keypad if that password is matches door has to open. Otherwise buzzer has to on.


This project can be used in industrial application,household applications and business application.
