A Wireless Design of Low Cost Irrigation System Using Zigbee Technology

In  A Wireless Design of Low Cost Irrigation System Using Zigbee Technology Project we generally use induction motors where the water has to be pulled out and irrigate the plant. But it is difficult to check the availability of the water in the field all the time. So here we are considering a wireless system to monitor the condition of the plant and then if there in any insufficient amount of water in the field then the network built will check the plants status and then water level and gives the required water level condition by indication the status to concern person of that field.

Normally in the field it is not possible for a person to continuously monitor the condition and the water level in the field. The water level that is in the field ahs to be monitored and the level of the sump has to be checked and then the motor has to work accordingly. This every this in divided in different sub networks and then according to the levels and status of the field the motor will run under condition. Here actually we are using a wireless network. That is RF communication system with 433MHz frequency with an address to match the identity. This actually monitors the humidity in the field and water level in the tank and the currents and voltage of the motor.

In the field it is common to find that the current and voltage are not always the same. So that we check the current s and voltages and then if the voltages and currents are at required level then it immediately transfers the signal to the motor to switch it on. This checks not only the current and voltage values even the level of the water that is present. If the level of the water is at a sufficient level then it automatically switches on the motor. At the same time it even monodies the condition dint he field. If the water level is sufficient for that time then it instructs the motor to switch it off.

This is all done with a wireless network since it is difficult to plant and wire the complete field for the application in this manner. The address has to be matched with the relevant master unit and the master unit controls the remaining part. A complete network is been implemented in this field with a wireless system. The motor speed is also controlled with a pulse width modulation technique because normally these motors in the field do not have a slow start to regulate the initial currents in the motor.

Touch Screen Based Digital Devices Control System

The aim of Touch Screen Based Digital Devices Control System project is to design and construction of a module to control the devices   through touch screen. The project was divided into three phases. The First phase is to demonstrate the application of touch screen controlled digital devices. The second phase of the project attempts controlling and display data on Graphic lcd and the third phase of the project is to control the Digital devices.

Now a days touch screen technology is widely used in different fields. Using this technology makes users comfortable and time saving. This technology is widely used in mobiles as smart phones but machines in mechanical or chemical fields are using touch screen technology. This project will explain a basic method to control digital devices using touch screen.

In this project Graphic accelerator and image buffer and digital control logic is used in LCD controller.

Touch Screen Controlled Motor Speed And Direction Controlling System

Touch Screen Controlled Motor Speed And Direction Controlling System projects main idea is to develop a application which can control motor direction using a simple touch screen method.

In current project a system is designed to control the speed and direction of dc motor based on the touch screen and graphics. This project demonstrates how touch screen can be easily interfaced to real world to control operation of complex systems like motor speed and direction. Below image shows the block diagram of motor interface to micro controller.

This block diagram shows a system that can be used for bi-directional control of a brush DC motor. The current and mechanical feedback are optional depending on the application requirements. The current feedback can be used to regulate the motor torque. The mechanical feedback can be used to control motor speed or position. Gps Based Highway Vehicle Monitoring System Abstract

GPS Based Highway Vehicle Monitoring System projects main idea is to develop a application using GPS and GSM technologies for tracking vehicles information on highway. In this project we use NAVSTAR GPS system which will help to calculate longitude and latitude of geographic location. GPS will communicate with 4 satellites to deliver Position information. Based on four satellites information is delivered it mainly depends on time clock.

This application uses MAX232 switch for connecting between micro controller and GPS device. These interfaces work on serial communication. Embedded GPS Based Vehicle Tracking System Abstract

Embedded GPS Based Vehicle Tracking System projects main idea is to develop a application which can help to track distance, traffic and position. This application works on GPS and GSM technologies.

A typical GPS receiver calculates its position using the signals from four or more GPS satellites. Four satellites are needed since the process needs a very accurate local time, more accurate than any normal clock can provide, so the receiver internally solves for time as well as position.

Initially the GPS continuously takes the data from the satellite and stores the latitude and longitudinal positions in microcontroller’s buffer. If we want to know the path of the vehicle we need to send a message to the GSM which gets activated by receiving our message. At the same instant the GPS gets deactivated with the help of relay.  As soon as the GSM gets activated it takes the last received latitude and longitude positions from the buffer and sends a message to the particular number which is executed in the program. After the message has been sent to the user the GSM gets deactivated and similarly the GPS gets activated. This is a cyclic process.

Traffic Announcement through GSM Networks Abstract

Traffic Announcement through GSM Networks projects main idea is to provide information on traffic and distance between different vehicles around us while traveling. This application uses Collide vehicle information capturing using GPS and GSM technology for calculating distance accurately. This project will work on how this application works using micro controller.

In this system vibration sensors will sense collision distance and send information to micro controller by converting to digital data using ADC. Micro controller will compare input data with threshold data, If the data is more than threshold value than data is send to GPS via GSM for finding out location data. GPS system will communicate with Satellite to calculate accurate information. This process will be working continuously until the system is off.

This application  uses Embedded Controller,  GPS Receiver, IR Sensor, LCD Module, GSM Modem, Serial Communication, Keil Compiler.

Secured GSM Based Automatic Water Level Warning System Abstract

AIM:

SECURED GSM BASED AUTOMATIC WATER LEVEL WARNING SYSTEM project is designed to measure the level of water and monitoring the level of water on LCD display.

DESCRIPTION: 

Here digital probes are used for detecting the level of water. The digital probes are connected to two relay circuits. Whose outputs are read by micro controller continuously.  Depending on the level of motor the stepper motor is rotated in clock wise direction and while filling the water into the tub the stepper motor it is rotated in anti clockwise direction. Here LCD display is used display the level of water continuously. Applications are boiler drums, over flow measurements and navigation applications etc.
