Wireless technology was an instant hit among people as it required no contact between devices. Bluetooth technology is such a wireless technology conceived by a special interest group and forms an association with almost all the major communication company giants. The technology behind Bluetooth is named frequency hopping spread spectrum and is primarily based on radio frequencies.

A real time data transfer will take place using a short area radio frequency band using a small microchip fitted inside the device. We can connect one to one system or one and many systems provided the versions of the Bluetooth enabled microchip embedded in it are the same

Two power levels in Bluetooth:

  • Lower power level which is used in most of mobile phones and works in a small area
  • Higher power level works in a larger area and is used mainly in companies

Voice over IP PPT

It means sending our using internet protocol. Means sending voice data over IP telephony. It sends information in the digital form rather than circuit packet data. It is better because it avoid charges which are charged in the telephone services. This VIOP is first used in the 1995 by an IT company Vocal Tec. They are better because the facility of the internet to transfer the information from one computer to another computer. To make a VIOP connection we require software, hardware and protocol.

 Software: used may vary from one organization to another, it depends upon their requirements. We require voice processing module for transferring the voice sample and PCM interface to receive the sample and then forward to IP software for processing.

Hardware:we require the perfect hardware that can meet our requirement or organizational need which vary accordingly. We will require two gateways for transmission process, one for differentiating the IP network over telephony and other in case of failure of first.

Protocol:Protocols are required for maintaining the audio signal of the voice. It defines the bandwidth of data. This protocol may be real time protocol or resource reservation protocol.

Advantages and disadvantages: we only require one cable for both data and voice connection. It reduces the cost of installations. It reduces the waste of bandwidth by eliminating the silence speech. They are based on the software so they can upgrade and maintained. It is not best for real time use. If the network is busy due to traffic then communication might be de-graded.

Now the most vendors use VPN to ease the IP telephony network. They set transmission by encrypting the data by the technique cryptography. This also provides security to their data.

They use OWC sensing network or SONAR based sensing network. In SONAR based sensing network they use sound waves that have the capability to travel the longer the distances.

OWC based on underwater sensing: in this light is used for propagation and many base stations are made inside the water. They receive the signal and process them to obtain the final result.  We can also acoustic method for data transmission that can also travel the long distance.

SONAR based: they use sound for navigation and ranger to detect the signals instead of radar as they radiations. They process the signal for processing and extracting information.

LIDAR based:it has the property to measure the scattered light and from that it can find the information and other information like range. They also use same technology like radar technology to find the information from the signal. They are also used by the military services.

Advantages: they don’t require any permission for transmission. They don’t have the problem of radiation as they don’t use radio waves. They are very low, light in weight, don’t require to setup like roads, high bandwidth and very less power consumption.

Applications: they detect the weather conditions like lightning strikes, earthquake, wind etc. monitoring sea animals and plants. They check the behavior of the marine life.

For this the phone companies transfer the analog signal to digital signal and transfer to the destination and again converts the digital signal to the analog signal.

There is much complexity in this technology such as representation of the data and setting of the connection to the network. The technologies like voice over frame relay are used to transfer the voice as data packets over the internet. We have also introduces a technology internet telephony which is used to transfer the multimedia information on the internet.

            Earlier for carrying voice and data we have to use different lines. Now the technology has increased so much that we can transfer the voice and data over the same line at very low cost. VoIP technology can be used anywhere such as in office, to link the sides of organization over a large distance, in a cooperate intranet and in the internet. In VoIP technology the data is compressed and send over the large distance that shares a bandwidth. The VoIP allows as to do free calling over the internet in the whole world.

Basically this technology gas a three type they are PC to PC, PC to phone and the last is phone to phone. This technology works by buffering the voice signal over the IP gateway and then converted into digital signal and then we compress it and this whole work is done by PCM. It also edits the voice which we send over the internet and correct it. And at the final stage we attach the IP header and then we send the compressed data to the outside of the network.

Voice over internet protocol means to transfer the voice of human or the user over the internet through wired connection or wireless connection. This work by converting the analog signal into digital signal by using converter and at the destination point it again convert into analog signal from digital signal.

Voice morphing means transmission of one voice signal to another. The voice morphing is quite similar to the image morphing in which the texture and the shape changes smoothly until the final image is obtain. Similarly in voice morphing the speech is changes smoothly until the final signal is obtain.

The information and the pitch are main properties of the signal. To extract the information from the signal we have adopted the cepatral approach. It uses dynamic time wrapping to match the pitch of the signal and to convert the waveform of the morphed signal. Voice morphing is very feasible.

Processing:– It is very challenge full and interesting task. The analog form of the morphed signal can be obtained by sampling the acoustic waveform of the transmitted signal. For transferring the signal we split the signal into many frames of waveform and then transmission is applied on the signal.

This process works on the digital signal. Morphing the pitch of the speech is key element of the transmission. If different pitches signal are used then we will going to heard two different voices. For a successful morphing we must exhibits mouth changing of the pitch of the signal. Compression of the signal is done so that it matches when checking is done. The frames are converted into normal waveform at the final stage.

For doing comprehensive analysis we have to follow a algorithm which contain various signal processing methods which includes sampling, Fourier transform and cepatral analysis. This analysis can be categorized in various steps they are, representing of the conversion, which involves the presentation of the signal. Cepatral and pitch analysis of the signal are set to extract the information from the signal. Warping of the transmitted signal and the final step is to re estimate the transmitted signal.
