Project Title: Concealed object detection using a microwave scanner.
The goal of this research is to develop the software for a 2d scanning device that is capable of identifying objects concealed under clothing and fabric. The 2d scanner uses very low power microwaves to penetrate fabric and form an image of concealed metal devices. Signal processing, analysis and data presentation techniques are required to correctly interpret the waveforms and build up three dimensional plots of the concealed objects
