Microcontroller Based Neural Network Controlled Low Cost Autonomous Vehicle Working:

The Microcontroller we are chosen here is LPC2148 ARM controller. This ARM controller consists of two RS232 ports which is able to communicate with GPS and GSM modem at a time. The operating voltage of ARM is 3.3v which will be done in power circuit block. The target location values (Longitude & Latitude) are sent as message to GSM module which is connected to the Controller. The controller will analyze the current position values of the vehicle and comp [area it to destination position value and make the motors to rotate such that it reaches the Destination. When  going to the destination if there is any obstacle  it will be observed by using IR Transmitter and Receiver and make the vehicle to rotate and move to destination position. Once the vehicle reaches the destination the Buzzer will switches on.

Adding New Functions to the Remote Airfield Lighting System (Abstract)

This project “Adding New Functions to the Remote Airfield” will be useful for power saving at the flight run runways and will be useful for safe landing of the flights by showing the correct runway path with high intensity LED’s. This Embedded System project uses the Solar panel for power supply which will be charged during the day time and that supply can be used for night timings. Also this project will be using the Zigebee based wireless technology for transmitting the signals from the flight to the landing area.

In this Final Year ECE Embedded System 2012 project we are going to use LPC2148 (ARM7) based microcontroller.

Design and Application of Mobile Embedded Systems for Home Care Applications (Abstract)

The health Caring Application main objective is to taking care of  all patients health by the doctors in the hospital and their health should be monitored by staff members every time. But when the patients are at their homes it is a risky and time wastage to the doctor to come to the patient’s information. Also the patient’s care taker needs to know the readings changes of the patients. In this project we are sensing the patient’s health information using the sensors and sending to the Graphical LCD to display the readings information. Graphical lcd will be useful in most of embedded applications like GPS receivers to view the graphs & pictures.

In the future this technique will helps us to send the patients health parameters readings like blood pressure, body temperature..etc of the patients to the remotely located doctors PC by implementing the TCP/IP protocol.  

In our proposed system we are using ARM7 based microcontroller LPC2148, LM35 temperature sensor and Graphical LCD to view the patients health parameters readings.

APPLICATIONS:. To view the medical parameters by the care takers, Sending Patient’s health parameters to remotely located doctors

E-Certificate Using RFID-Based Identification

E-certificate using RFID technology embedded system project explains about developing a efficient security application for citizens using RID card reader. This system can be used in certificates identities and other identification documents. This card is developed in embedded systems which consists of information about user. This card can be used in different fields by just swiping the card, information in card are compared with the data base details and if it is matched card is approved else permission will be rejected.

Ultrasonic Distance Meter Embedded System Project

Ultrasonic distance meter embedded system project explains about developing new application using microcontroller for calculating distance between two objects accurately using ultrasonic sound. This system uses ultrasonic sound pulses to calculate distance between objects. From source point user will send ultrasonic pulses to other end using transmitter and then receiver will catch reflected pulses and time is calculated for transmitting and receiving of pluses based on this time distance is calculated and displayed on LED. Output is displayed in digital format which can be easily understood by any one.

In existing system it is hard to calculate distance between objects, present system uses manual method where tape is used to calculate distance but this procedure is not possible in calculating long distance. In this cases ultrasonic distance meter can be used.

Wireless Health Monitoring System

Wireless health monitoring system embedded system project explains about developing a new wireless application which can monitor health condition. This system can be a very useful instrument in medical field.

This system will monitor hear rate for patients who are suffering from heart problems. In ICU every bed is connected with a sensor and that sensor will interact with the system on wireless network. A server system with a computer will be collecting all the heart rate information from all the beds(patients).

In the computer screen it will be displayed the heart rate with the patient ID. 

This application uses Zig Bee wireless network technology which is a non profit organization which will provide flexible and best electronic products.

WIRELESS-HEALTH-MONITORING-SYSTEM


Working principle:
 

The heart beat sensors will continuously acquire the heart beats from the patient. The interfacing of heart beat sensor and the micro controller can either be through uart port or through ADC.

The heart rate information then pass through the wireless network by using Zigbee transceivers. Each Zigbee node will be having each address and at the server side each patient can be identified easily.

The server will be receiving the heart rate information through Zigbee receiver(transceiver)  and the microcontroller will separate the data according the node address and send to the PC or LCD .

In the PC or LCD the patient ID and heart rate will be displayed.

Wireless Electricity Bill Reading Machine

Wireless Electricity Bill Reading Machine embedded system project explains about developing new wireless application for electricity billing. In present scenario manual method is used to calculate electricity bill which is a time taking process, in this process meter readings are noted and then calculated manually which require lot of manual work.

As the technology growth is high there is need to developed alternate method which can increase efficiency of work by using minimum human resource and which should also complete task in less time.

This proposed system is a wireless billing system which uses Infra red and smart printer technology to implement meter reading system. In this system EB people will hold a wireless system which will communicate with meters by using infra red signals. Initially authentication is the first step between EB equipment and meter then meter will send meter reading though infra red signals to EB equipment. Then it will calculate total amount based on reading and display it on LED screen with printing option.

Water Level Indicator Electrical Project Abstract

Water level indicator electrical project explains about displaying information of water level in the tank by using led lights. There are four led lights used in the circuit when LED1 is on it means that water level is at ¼ of the tank and if LED 2 is displayed then water level is ½ of the tank and if LED 3 is displayed water level is ¾ of the tank and if LED 4 is displayed water level is full. This project uses IC Chip CD4066.

Vehicle Tracking System Abstract

Vehicle Tracking system using GPS module and GSM modem,  and ARM7 (LPC2129). 

WORKING PRINCIPLE

This project mainly works on GPS and GSM systems. The vehicle is traced by using information from satellite systems and send to GSM systems.     

Vehicle and user are connected initially by using GSM network. the user will send message to Moving vehicle for connectivity, hardware mounted on vehicle reacts to message and send conformation message to user and then if the message is valid one then GPS modem is initiated and requested for location. 

The latitude and longitude values are compared with the values stored in the memory and corresponding location name is given to the Controller which in turn uses GSM/GPRS to send the location name by means of Short Message Service back to USER.

Operation
:
 

The heart of this project is a micro controller ARM7 (LPC2129). 

GSM:

Messages sent by the user is received by the GSM  module. 

1)  Password option is provided for secure authentication. 

2)  Micro controller will play important role in sending and receiving commands to GPS. 

3)  Micro Controller extracts the location name and send the same to the GSM via serial communication. Micro controller will find location and send details to GSM Mobile using serial communication system.

Vehicle Anti-Collision System Using Ultrasonic Signals

Aim:-

Vehicle Anti-Collision System Using Ultrasonic Signals  project is used to avoid collision between vehicles moving front and thereby an accident. 

Introduction:-

          Nowadays accidents become a common happening in roads due to carelessness or due to over speeding. If we can avoid this means we can save many lives.

The main aim of our project is to develop a anti-collision system for vehicle which can be used for real time application. The main features of the project are: ultrasonic sound sensor and power control circuitry.

This system monitors the distance between our car and any other vehicle or obstacles in the front. If our car crosses a particular limit the power will be cut out.

Working:-               

       The controller always waiting for “Stop-value”(i.e. 23 0r 05) and  Enter the value ,The controller always monitor the sensor values ,if the value comes within a particular limit the car will be stopped and indicator will be on. if it is near the stop limit it will alert the driver and buzzer will be on. If the block is gone then, car will move normally. For controlling car movement we are using relay circuitry.

       A 16×2 LCD is implemented to display the modes and distance.
