This web project will automate the reservation of movie tickets and inquiries about the availability of seats. This online java based application includes email confirmation for the movie tickets with seat numbers and movie time. This project was developed using Java & MySQL.

High-Level Requirements

  1. System to allow the administrator to maintain masters such as Cinema Halls, type details like multiplexes or single, number of screens, seating capacity per screen, approximate rates per screen, other facilities at the location and its map, etc to be published.
  2. The cinema halls listed are of different types and offer different types of seats/classes. Information like seating capacity, and rates for different classes. Only 50% of the seats are available for online reservations.
  3. System to allow the admin to upload the details of a number of shows, movies being screened, ticket rates, etc on the site only on registration.
  4. System to allow users to search for cinema halls, movies, and shows based on selection criteria, for 2 weeks in advance.
  5. System to allow users to choose the seats which are available for a selected movie, selected screen, selected show, or selected class. Users can select the mode of transfer of tickets whether through the courier or collection at the counter, and charges for the same are to be added to the total of ticket charges.
  6. Users subscribe for new release information.

PROVIDED SYSTEM

The proposed system aims to develop a system with better facilities. The proposed system can overcome all the limitations of the current Placement Management system, for example, student data is stored in a database, which provides greater security of information, ensures data accuracy, reduces paperwork, and saves time. This makes the flow of information more efficient and allows for the easier generation of shortlisted students in campus placements.

Admin:

In this project, Admin Is the owner of this web application. Admin maintains the web application. We have an Admin login form, admin login to web application with respective username and password. Admin view and check the technician’s details. After verification, Admin activates the technicians. Admin collects electronic waste (E-waste) like broken and useless materials for recycling.

Technician:

A technician is a professional worker with inappropriate technology. In this Project, the technician fills out the registration form with valid information. Admin decides (activate) the technician for a web application. A technician can log in to the web application after activation only. The technician can view the customer bookings and accept the customer booking requests. Technicians can accept customer requests when customers are from the same location. Technicians generate an online bill with a unique booking id, and with that unique booking id technician collects the payment from customers. A technician can view the customer ratings for his work.

Customer:

The main module in this project is the customer. A customer has to register for booking a technician for his/her home electronic repair. Customer log in to web application with a belonging username and password. A customer books the technician for his/her belonging device work. A customer can enter the exact location (latitude and longitude) with the help of Google Maps. A customer has the option to view the ratings of a technician before comes to work. A customer checks the status of whether a technician accepts the booking request or not. A customer views the generated bill and pays the amount through an online service. Customer can view their booking history by clicking on history. After the Completion of a technician work a customer wants, he/her can give a rating to a booking technician. If a customer has electronic wastage he/her can send that wastage to an admin.

Weather Forecasting from Historical Weather Data using Data Mining

Background:

There is a Smart Grid Center that is conducting huge research to design an Intelligent Energy Use system. This system detects the weather conditions outside and would take an action accordingly (these actions would be like turning on the air conditioner, turning off the heater, etc). A huge number of historical weather information is collected from various weather sensor devices that are located across the RVR building. The information is gathered and found to be climates for a period of time (June 2012 to Present). The purpose of this project is to extract the patterns for day-to-day weather prediction from historical weather data using data mining.

Problem Statement:

Weather forecasting is a prediction of what the weather will be like in the future, it had been invented many years ago. The purpose of this project is to extract the patterns for day-to-day weather prediction from historical weather data using data mining. In this project, a prototype of the system will be developed which includes the main components of the system such as training, analysis, and prediction.

A web framework will be developed using Java Net Beans which is used to present the predicted result in a meaningful and understandable manner. The data would be presented in a graphical form which would be much easier for a user to analyze the data. The graphical view will be developed using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Service) tool, The SSRS tool is a Reporting Service tool developed by Microsoft which is used to prepare and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports.

The proposed Online Examination system works on the online web portal where students, admin, and lecturers can be part of this portal by registering with the application.  Admin will add teachers and students can register with the application and view all tests available and take tests and view results and ranks.

Securing Data Using DES, RSA, AES And LSB Steganography

ABSTRACT:

Data security is the main concern in different types of applications from data storing in clouds to sending messages using chat. In order to provide security for data in the cloud, there are many types of techniques which are already been proposed like AES, DES, and RSA but in existing methods, most of the time only a single type of encryption was used either AES, OR DES, OR RSA based on user requirement but in this system main problem is each encryption is done using encryption keys if these keys are exposed in any case entire data is lost so we need an effective method which can provide more security so in this project hybrid cryptography is used where existing encryption methods are used but three methods will be used.

When the user uploads data will split into three parts the first part will be encrypted using AES, the second part will be encrypted using DES, the third part will be encrypted using RSA  and these three encrypted files will be stored in the cloud and keys used for AES, DES, and RSA are stored in the image using LSB steganography when users want to download total data from cloud-first keys should be retrieved from the image and these keys are used for decrypting data again by using AES, DES and RSA and final data is combined and stored in the file. This method provides more security for data.

OBJECTIVE:

Data security is the main issue in cloud data management there is a chance of developing effective methods like hybrid cryptography for improving security. In this project, AES, DES, and RSA are used along with LSB.

INTRODUCTION:

The cloud is playing important role in data management and is another type of service that provides a secure way of data handling and remote data accessing where users from anywhere can use the cloud for data access. As the cloud is a third-party application where data uploaded by users must provide security features to reduce risks from data attacks in order to do that encryption techniques here are used like AES, DES, and RSA.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

In the existing system, the cloud is used to use any one of the encryption techniques and key verification is done using the identity of the user. Based on application requirements different encryption techniques are used.

DISADVANTAGES:

Only single encryption techniques are used and if keys are not managed effectively there are chances of leakage of keys. 

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

In order to improve security for cloud data compared to existing techniques where keys are shared security between users new hybrid cryptography technique is proposed where three types of encryption are used AES, DES, and RSA, and the LSB steganography technique is used for secure key sharing.

ADVANTAGES:

Data is split into three parts and each part is encrypted using one encryption technique and keys are shared securely by embedding in the image.
