Introduction to Vehicle Tracking System Design and Implementation Using GPS Project:

Objective:

This project describes on how to provide security to vehicles using GPS.  A remote tracking server and real time vehicular tracking system were installed in the vehicle for easy tracking of vehicle. Information about the vehicle will transfer to actual tracking server by making use of GSM\GPRS modem on GSM network by sending a SMS or transfer the data to tracking server via GPRS using direct TCP\IP connection.  Tracking server also has GSM/GPRS modem which receives vehicle information through GSM network and placed the same information in a database. This vehicle security system, which installed in the car helps to reduce the auto theft. 

Overview:

Vehicle Security system is required during auto theft. So, whenever an intrusion occurs, owner of the car will get intimation through SMS with the help of this security system. The SMS alerts car owner who can take further action by intimating the same to cops.   Objectives of this project are developing automatic vehicle location system using GPS for alerting the car owner by providing the vehicle information to the car owner.  Vehicle current location will be detected with the help of vibration sensors and Ultrasonic sensors by making use of In-vehicle unit which installed in the vehicle. When vehicle information is extracted by In-vehicle unit it has to reach tracking server then the same will display to the vehicle owner through SMS.  GSM modem is required to transmit data to tracking server over GSM network.

Conclusion:

To track vehicle location when it is auto theft then both in-vehicle unit and a tracking server are used. The vehicle information transmits to tracking server using GSM modem over GSM network. Tracking server has one GSM modem to receive the vehicle information over GSM network and stores the same in database. This data will display to the vehicle owner via SMS.

ECE Project Report or Final Year on Product Counter

Introduction on Product Counter Project:

The main objective of this project is to develop a circuit which enhances the counting process. Industries will be manufacturing many products and they cannot be counted easily. This circuit was developed such that it can be used for  counting  products going over a belt, and for counting persons passed at a point etc. This can display from three to ten digit numbers and can count unto thousands.

Brief into  Design and working :

This system makes use of IC’S , LED, resistors, Variable resistors, LCD, Seven segment display and power supply.LM311 IC is a voltage regulator used for comparing the voltages and generates the output. 4033 IC is a counter and an output decoder. Variable resistors are used for controlling the electrical devices in terms of power.

Resistors are used for controlling the flow of electric current and providing desired amount of voltage in electric or electric circuit. LED is a semiconductor light source which are used as indicator lamps in many devices, and are increasingly used for lighting. light dependent resistor is a resistor whose resistance decreases with increasing incident light intensity.

Seven segment display is used for visual numeric display. The output from opamp is given as the clock for seven segment counter 4033.the 4033 counter counts and displays in seven segment display.

Introduction to Voltage Stability Analysis under Normal and Contingency Conditions:

The project aims at designing a voltage stability analyzer which can work effectively under normal and contingency conditions. In this we will design a algorithm so as to calculate the voltage fluctuation occurring and maintain a constant supply voltage. In this paper we will discuss the about the algorithm for calculating the voltage fluctuations occurring in the device.

Brief into the working of voltage stability analyzer:

Due to small disturbances occurring in the device the system may collapse, so to control these we will design a algorithm. In this we will use an L-index method for calculating the voltage fluctuation values. By suing the L index method we will obtain scalar values of the load elements used in the circuit.

By maintaining the L index values at 0 to 1 margin the voltage fluctuations are controlled. By using this we can know the load elements values so that we can know the disturbances occurred due to load elements. The software for analyzing the voltage values is designed using mat lab program.

The application software predicts the change in voltage values and maintains a constant phase margin. This is a cost effective system for controlling the voltage fluctuations in electrical devices.

Applications:

By using this device we can control the voltage fluctuations occurring in a device. As we can know the voltage values by using the stabilizer we can adjust the voltage values according to our requirement. By using this device we protect the device from damages occurring due to over voltages and short circuits. The voltage stability analyzer can work efficiently in both low voltage and high voltage conditions.

Many of the frauds are being done over credit cards when the payment is being done.

To avoid this fraud, this theory has developed.IP technology is widely used by various devices. IP technology uses HTTP protocol, but this protocol uses high power. To, overcome all this disadvantages, a new protocol called constrained application protocol has been developed.

Brief into design and working

COAP is a web transfer protocol developed for resource constrained networks. It uses REST architecture. REST architecture allow applications to rely on loosely coupled services which can be shared and reused and are controlled by the server and identified by a Universal Resource Identifier (URI). It uses some methods used by HTTP.

COAP supports additional functionalities such as multicast, asynchronous communication and subscriptions. The packet overhead compression has drastically reduced the power consumption and has increased the power life time. This is being used in many web applications also. The main aim of the application is to allow the user to access data directly from a web browser.

The complexity of gateway is reduced and the system scalability is increased. Hence, by using this safe transaction can be done by the customers.

Introduction Micro controller Project Report on Aeronautical Crash Prevention System through RF Communication:

The main objective of this paper is to prevent collision of aircrafts. Here communication is done through RF. RF is preferred due to its features like high Bluetooth range and can detect long distance objects and which are travelling at all sides of the main object. This system consists of microcontroller, LCD, buzzer, transmitter/ receiver, Encoder/Decoder, power supply.

Brief into design and working :

In this system the design involves two sections namely transmitter and receiver section. In the transmitter section, microcontroller generates the parallel data and is encoded, and then the parallel data becomes serial data after encoding and is transmitted through RF transmitter. In receiver section, the receiver receives the transmitted serial data and decodes the serial data into parallel data by using the decoder and is given to microcontroller.

The microcontroller takes the action and status is displayed in the lcd and the buzzer starts initially. Coming to working of this system, each and every aero plane consists of both transmitter and receiver. Every aero plane has an specific IP address. The transmitter keep on transmitting the ip address and if any aero plane is found near by then the receiver receives the ip address of aero plane nearby.

If the receiver receives the information about other aero plane that means it is within the range of hundred meters. Then the status is displayed in the LCD and the buzzer starts .So, when the buzzer starts and status is displayed we can divert the planes without colliding.

Electronic Temperature Controlled Relay Project Report

Introduction to Electronic Temperature Controlled Relay Project:

The main objective of this paper is to develop a simple circuit which can control temperature. In our day to day life, We come across many devices whose temperature has to be maintained. If the device crosses temperature specified then it leads to many problems.

In order to avoid these problems, device has been developed to control temperature. By using this the temperature can be controlled .This circuit consists of comparator, temperature sensor, reference voltage ,relay and printed circuit board.

Brief into Design and working     

The temperature sensor LM35 is used, it senses temperature comparator used acts as a thermal controlled switch. Reference voltage is used to maintain constant voltage even though there are fluctuations in voltage. Relay is used to control the circuit by one signal. Printed circuit board is used to connect components using tracks.

The working of this circuit is as follows. First, temperature is presented. The temperature sensor senses the temperature and if the temperature is above the one which is stored, then relay is actuated and is temperature is controlled.

If the temperature is less than the stored one, then relay is turned off. One of the best practical examples is controlling the temperature in water tank with a heater whose temperature can be set to a particular value.

As the technology is advancing we can add some of the additional benefits like buzzer to give a sound when the temperature is high and gsm technology which can send information to specified person automatically.

Adaptive Equalizer For Digital Systems

Introduction to Adaptive Equalizer For Digital Systems:

This project aims at reducing the effects caused due to multi paths in mobile communications. In non line sight communication the signal does not go in a direct path and it gets effected due to various factors as it under goes deviation. We propose adaptive equalization method for the reduction of multi path signals at the receiver. In this paper we will discuss the working model of adaptive equalizer.

Brief into working of adaptive equalizer:

Due to deviation in the signals the multiple copies are signals are received at the receiver so it becomes difficult to trace out the original signal, by which the accuracy of the signal gets reduced. By using an adaptive equalizer the received signal can be nullified so as to reduce the noise components. Channel response at the receiver is estimated by using a pilot carrier or a training sequence. Approximation inverse filter is used to isolate the distortions occurred in the signal. A matched filter is used to boost up the signal as it undergoes through various processes. Adaptive filter is always inserted in front of the channel so as to compensate the signal. To make the incoming response equal we will use a feedback supply for the channel.

Advantages:

By employing adaptive equalizer the accuracy of the system gets increased.  As the original signal can be traced easily we can increase the quality of the signal. This is an efficient technique for reducing the effects due to scattering and distortions. Thus we can conclude that adaptive equalization technique is the best method to overcome the multipath signals in mobile communication

This project aims at providing automatic information reference system along with speech. The model is microcontroller based design and it also displays the stored information on the display. This devices are used in giving information regarding the bus and train arrival and departure timings in the stations. In this we will discuss the construction details and working of the display system

Working model:

In this we will employ a 89c51 microcontroller which displays the information according to the timings. To the microcontroller display is connected which displays the information and to it a voice chip is connected which gives voice signal for the displayed information. The microcontroller is programmed with the timing information and so it works accordingly. The microcontroller is provided with an input keypad so that we can change the timing   information when changes required. The microcontroller based design are very efficient and they can be debugged easily and they consume very less power. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language and it runs on keil software.

Applications and advantages:

This is cost effective design for displaying information at bus and train stations. As we are using microcontroller which consist of flash memories we can reprogram any number of times we want. This microcontroller design has a greater control for the displaying information.

Introduction to spread spectrum:

Spread spectrum is an signal structuring technique which employs a frequency hoping of direct sequence for achieving multiple access of signal in telecommunications. We will employ frequency hoping spread spectrum(FHSS), direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS), time hoping spread spectrum (THSS) and chip spread spectrum(CSS)  for generating pseudorandom of PN sequences. In this paper we will discuss the generation of PN sequences using spread spectrum.

Brief about spread spectrum:

By spread spectrum technique the signal is spread in frequency domain which generates a signal with higher bandwidth. For applying the spread spectrum a direction sequence signal is taken so that the signal can be used for multiple access and this decreases the potential difference at the receivers. At the receivers the original signal is retrieved. Pseudo random generators are used for generating pseudo random for the PN sequence. Radio signal is used for generating a wider signal using spread spectrum for the direct sequence signal. In synchronous digital systems spread spectrum clock generators are used to reduce the spectral density of the electronic interference generated in the system.

Applications:

The spread spectrum is widely used for increasing resistance to a natural interference and to reduce the usage of power flux density. These are mainly used in communication in satellite downlink channels.  By using spread spectrum the noise in the signals can be isolated completely.

Industrial Automation Project Report

Introduction to Industrial Automation Project:

Introduction:

The proposed design is to provide industrial or home automation is useful for monitoring the devices from any distance. A micro controller is used which monitors are the components according to the given message, with the sensed information sent from the sensors. This paper discusses the working of temperature a heat controlling devices. As the automation is microcontroller based it automatically regulates the temperature changes.

Circuit design and working:

The circuit unit consists of temperature sensors which are connected to microcontroller unit which measures the radiations emitted from hot broilers. A signal conditioning circuit is used for energizing the signal coming from the sensors. A feedback circuit is provided in order to reduce the isolation between the ac line and output. The microcontroller based design are very advantageous in protecting the circuit from leakage currents and high voltages and power losses. We can design the automation circuit by using op-amps or IC voltage regulator but they don’t give quick responses and not that efficient as a microcontroller based design. The keil software is very advantageous in programming flash memories. It provides an interface for connecting target via serial line.

Applications and future scope:

Applications and future scope these type of automation system can used in homes, industries etc. By using this automation design, we can reduce the usage of man power, and the damage of devices can also be reduces.  By using transmission units we can control the equipment from long distances. Thus we can conclude that this kind of devices is very useful for regulating the temperature changes in the equipment.
