Milestone Assessment Guidelines
When you get a deliverable, make sure that it matches what you expected from the project plan. The assessment is for marks (out of 10) and should be fairly easy to do, but you should also send thorough and careful comments on the deliverable too. Some of deliverables may be destined for the final report (e.g. the Literature Review) so you may need to coach them in terms of writing style, presentation, citation etc. However, some deliverables may be intermediate documents (e.g a draft Requirements Specification or Design, a test plan) so you should respond in the spirit in which it is intended (e.g. look for omissions and ambiguities, debug the design etc.).
