Abstract: The project entitled “Electronic Employee Management System” fully describes about the process of employment office schemes and provides the strong connection between job seekers and job providers. In this portal the job seeker has to register their details into the employment office database. Once they register the identities the system automatically post the complete details like Renewal time, validity and the cost if any required to the registered candidate.

The system provides complete opportunity to the job providers to upload the job details immediately into the site; many candidates/job seekers get benefits from this system. This system provides one more add-on like if the date is expired to renew then the system automatically alert the candidate by sending mail to them whenever the site gets logged in. For all the entire system handles the process of employment office and provides the bridge between job seekers and the job providers.

AUTHENTICATION

The authentication module that allows the user provides to the identity of their own into the system, and gets full access rights to handle the website. Basically this website starts with the authentication port once the user properly registered in this website after that making the process. The employee management system provides the secure authentication and authentication process. The employee can login into the system with correct username and password and get all benefits of the site.

REGISTRATION

The registration process allows the user to enter the proper identity into the system. The identities are nothing but it is the basic information about the respective individual. The information like name mail id address username and password, which in be store to the server. The employee management system is to provide the registration process. In employee side the registration process is based on the personal detail like as name, Mail Id, address etc.

VERIFYING employee detail

This module is used to view the working employee details and relieve employee details. It is used to calculate the overall manpower of company, and calculate the overall employee salary details. And this module allows to verifying the present employee details like name, employee designation, and address. 

Experience renewal

Experience renewal module allows to renewal the employee experience. This module helps to improving the employee salary based on their qualification and their experience. The company gives the promotion for employees based on their experience. This renewal portal is used to update each and every employee experience up to date.

Time Table Generation System in ASP.Net

The aim of this project is to create software for college and for the purpose is to maintain the “TIME TABLE GENERATION” for both the students and staff.  Each Department head is having problem in work scheduling to their sub ordinates and work status feedback.  This project solves the above problem.  This software gives permission to the students and staff to view their allotted subject and Time Table.

Interaction Between The Student And The System

This software is used to maintain the details of staff and student’s Time Table details and college Time Table details.  Visual Basic.NET is used as front end that is used to design the user interface.  Microsoft Access is used as back end and used to design the database and stores the details.

The tables used here are Course Details, Department details, Staff Details, Time Table Allocation details, Subject Details.

The project is more user-friendly so that anyone have minimum computer knowledge can access and handle the software without having any complexity.  This system provides security to the users by providing proper login.

Time Table Generation System

Modules in this project are,

Course: 

In this module both the entry and view of the course details can be done.  If the entry should be done, then the details will be checked.  After that the details will be added in the database and a message will be displayed to confirm the entry.

Time Table Generation System Semister wise

Department:

If the Department details entered then the Id of the corresponding Department must be entered, then the entered Id will be checked against the database. If the match is found, then the Department details of the Corresponding Department will be shown in that module, Else an error message will be displayed.

Staff Detail: 

In this module both the entry and view of the staff Details can be done.  If the entry should be done, then the details must be entered and checked for duplicate.  Then the details will be added in the database and a message will be displayed to confirm the entry.

Time Table Allocation:

In the Time Table Allocation Details the staff, subject of the Corresponding staff will be entered, then the entered staff Name will be checked against the database.  If the match is found, then the Time Table Allocation details of the corresponding staff will be generated and stored in database, Else an error message will be displayed.

SUBJECT DETAILS:

The subject details master includes subject name, id and the staff handling the subject will be entered and stored in database. In time table generation the details will be retrieved and used as per the requirement.

Existing System 

In the existing system, each task is carried out manually and processing is also a tedious job.  The Organization is not able to achieve its need in time and also the results may not accurate. Because of the manual maintenance there are number of difficulties and drawbacks exist in the system. Some of them are

Drawbacks of the Existing System:

  • Increased transaction leads to increased source document and hence maintenance becomes difficult.
  • If any student, staff entry is wrongly made then the maintenance becomes very difficult.

PROPOSED SYSTEM 

The proposed system is designed to be more efficient than the manual system. It invokes all base tasks that are now carried out manually, such as the forms transactions and reports which is added advantage.

This project mainly deals about the “INVENTORY CONTROL SYSTEM”.

This application software is computerizing the inventory level of all materials of the stores department and also some operations of purchase department. The company is maintained for each and every material. The main functions of stores department are material purchase, purchase order, purchase return, stock maintenance, material issue and material receiving.

The project consists of four modules:

The first module includes the details about Vendor details, and Material Stock details.

The Second module includes the details about Purchase order, Material Receiving, Material Issues, and Purchase return.

This project is developed in Visual Basic 6.0 as frond end tool and MS Access as back end tool.

INTRODUCTION

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Definition:

This project purely deals with the computerization of  “Inventory control system”. This system is computerized to get varies types or reports and bills. The user has entered the  purchase,  issue,  service    and   vendor   details,  The  system   is designed to meet the user requirements and  is user friendly along with the support of  the facilities of Visual basic 6.0in which the required coding  are written. This project is concerned with developing a new system that eradicates the loopholes and the draw back of the existing   system.

A through investigation of the existing system was carried out and its boundaries were analyzed. In accordance with the user requirements the format were designed.

EXISTING SYSTEM STUDY

The existing Inventory Control System is manual and is almost a tedious task to do various transactions. In day today life lot of transactions will be taking place. The employee who deals with this system will have to take much pain during the end of the final year.

The system will be dealing with a number of calculations during the end of the financial year. There is a chance of occurrence of errors at all levels of the system.

The records are stored in large and in different ledgers which is really an inconvenience to the user of the system.  A lot of entries have to be made in the ledgers for the transactions.

In case of announcement of the increment in the fuel cost the rates will differ. The users find the job to be difficult, as a lot of process has to be taken place.

Up – to- date reports have to be prepared at regular intervals.  Reports of this type require a lot of reference and calculations. The users may find it difficult with it, if there are lots of reports of this type.

CONCLUSION

The Inventory control system is developed for the stores Department. Since the system developed using Visual Basic in GUI environment, any report or information, which may be either regular of adhoc in nature, can be taken easily using this system.

As the language is fully menu-driven the user will find it very easy to handle the system. Also, the system is developed in such a way that it is mostly parameterized. This means, wherever possible the variable data like material, vendor can be found easily. This will enable the users to change any parameter, as and when required, without the any assistance from EDP professionals.

The developed Inventory control system will be very useful to them and the concern would utilize it extensively for their applications.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system seeks to eliminate discrepancies of the existing system. Hence the proposed has the following advantages over the existing system.

  1. Reducing error due to human factor as all the major manipulations are carried out by the system itself.
  2. Transactions statements via the proposed system turns out to be less costly compared to the manual system.
  3. Time factor allows sine less amount of time is taken to prepare the final statements.
  4. Accuracy, reliability and efficiency are greatly improved since the functionality of the proposed system excels the former one.
  5. Various settings can be done with less effort.

Abstract

The project entitled “Flight Booking Portal” is all about and for passenger assistance as the name states.  Now-a-days passenger traveling on a Flight gets confused very Often and is in contact only for the duration of the course that they undergo. Only one third of the passengers in a Flight Onboard are able to frequent travelers and interact with each other. The primary objective of this project is to announce the passenger list, Takeoff time and landing time of each flight. Flight details, Airport details and Airline timings are maintained in this project. The passenger list tells about the details of each passenger and the takeoff time tells about when the flight will takeoff and landing time tells about when the flight lands. This project is used to eliminate problems that arise in the manual system. This site provides the facility to handle the details and data easily and accurately.

The working nature of the flight booking portal does not facilitates only the booking and cancellation of flights and also it maintains the complete working scenario of the airport and the flight landing and take-off strategies as well as the clear passenger details into the concern. Once the passenger book for the particular flight it confirms the passenger details like in which class they book for the particular flight and in which day the flight is turned on to fly and so on. Basically the working scenario of the entire system fully handles the working nature of the airport and provides facility to the passengers to book for the flight and know the complete details regarding the corresponding flight to move on.

OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of designing and developing a Software Personnel Management system is to provide with a system which proves to be manually beneficial i.e., benefits the software developing company. The complete activities and the process right from projects inception to its successful delivery is incorporated in this system.

Existing System:

The existing system is the manual system.   The manual system is error prone.  It is time consuming.  It is very difficult for a person to produce report.  There are chances for manipulating the reports and changing it.  This system involves a lot of manual entries with the applications to perform the desired task.

Limitations:

  • Data maintenance adopted by the present system is not accurate.
  • Inaccurate result in case of duplicating, delay and inconsistency in reporting.
  • Generating consolidated reports is more difficult in manual system and it may not be consistent.
  • The transactions are very time consuming.
  • There is no facility for the users to know whether the data is entered is valid or not.  This disadvantage is the major cause of errors in transaction.
  • There is inconsistency in maintaining data’s.
  • No global view ability of data’s.
  • No chance of knowing other members sales daily.
  • It is not user friendly.

Proposed System: 

The proposed system is designed to eliminate the drawbacks of the existing system.  It is designed by keeping in mind all the drawbacks of the present system in order to provide a permanent solution to the problems.  The primary aim of the new system is to speedup process.  The report is prepared for the software personnals.

The personnel code and software code are validated. Accuracy for all the data entered is maintained in the proposed system through validation and verification from all the files.  Verification of personnel code, software code, validation of records, etc., are performed with maximum accuracy.  In short, efficiency is established.  The advantages of this system are listed below,

  • User friendliness is the keyword for all the new software in the market.  The proposed system incorporates this concept into itself to guide the user.
  • At every stage of data entry necessary comments and validation messages are provided to the user.
  • The proposed system is also expected to reduce the amount of paper work involved.  The hard copies of only necessary documents need to be taken the rest can be avoided.
  • Competitive environment is developed with the publications of other members of same level.
  • Good communication is being held via mail options.
  • Data’s are maintained accurately via daily submission of information details. 

Need For Computerization:

            The Project entitled “Software personnel management system” was not computerized previously.  In this system, the information about the software and the progress of personnels and the  movement of the products in the market cannot be noted easily. If these informations are needed we need to spend lot of time, money and energy.

If the company’s turn over has to be increased then there is some need for experts ideas for that up to date information has to supplied this is quite impossible in the present system.

If the company wants to inform some important meeting/decisions, this process should start before sometime before the actual happening. If some person are added this too has to be informed individually for that quite some money has to be spent.

Reports cannot be created easily with much flexibility and with limited amount of time. The head of the company cannot sit at a place and maintain the records without much assistance.

Data maintenance is quite tough when maintained manually. High level of data redundancy exists.

Study of the Existing System

The functioning of the existing system can be explained as:

Patient’s Information

  • The whole information regarding different activities in the hospital is entered in the registers manually for future verification.
  • The patient details like Personal Information are all entered in registers. Each Patient’s information will be maintained in a separate file.
  • If the patient gets any new ailments, their details, tets, reports must be added to the previous information.
  • All the information regarding the patient from entering the hospital to leaving the hospital must be maintained accurately.

Doctor’s Information

    • The information regarding all doctors and their qualifications, their personal details all are maintained in a separate file. Each doctor has a unique id.
    • The doctors’ availability times all are maintained in a separate file. 

Difficulties in the existing system:

  • The process is time consuming and ineffective.
  • It is difficult to find a particular patient file among a number of files.
  • There may be delays intimating the responses to the requested doctors.
  • The current status of the patient is not readily available to the doctor. The file needs to be moved among the departments until the approval process completes.

If any new information is to be added corresponding to a particular patient file, various departments should submit all the reports regarding the patient.

  • When any modifications has to be done, then each and every time new entry has to be filed as it is not possible to update the previous record.
  • The doctors can not estimate easily the physical status of a patient. They have to verify and compare many reports in order to come to a conclusion.
  • There is a chance of missing reports sometimes and it is difficult to put responsibility on a particular person.

Study of the Proposed System 

The new system is designed to overcome the demerits of the previous system. It insists for the proper data collection in a standard form which is designed in an effective manner.

In order to overcome the drawbacks in the existing system, it was decided to create a database, which is

Any incomplete or invalid data will not be accepted as there are thorough checks at each and every stage of all forms.

The software will handle the following functions:

Authorization

  • All the staff in the hospital will be given a user name and password for login in to the system.
  • Different Menu Accessing Permissions will be given to different cadered people.
  • Depending on the validity of the username and password entered, the software will become accessible to the authorized users. 

Patient Information

  • Patient personal information like name, age, sex, occupation, fathers name etc will be maintained.
  • Each patient is given a unique PIN (patient index number).
  • Each patient is assigned to a particular doctor.

Doctor’s and other staff Information

  • Every doctor and staff member will be given a unique id.
  • Their personal information like contact numbers are maintained.
  • Their availability on that day will be maintained.

Patient reports and bills

  • The reports and bills of a patient are stored in the database for further verification.
  • The cost of each test is maintained.

  • This is oriented, comprehensive and standardized user-friendly software.
  • This software is easy to use and saves a lot of time of the staff in different cadres, as it can quickly respond to the user requests in an efficient manner.

  • It performs thorough validation checking while storing. It assists the user with respective messages to overcome the errors at runtime.

FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE MODULES:

Login:

Once User enters the valid userid and password user move to the page that displays corresponding services of that user.

ADMINISTRATOR:

  • Administrator is the one who will be having complete authority over the software.
  •  He is the one who will decide to whom the access over the software is to be granted.
  • He is responsible for entering new user information, updating their information, and deleting the information when the user no longer exists.

RECEPTIONIST:

  • It works round the clock. Initially the patient is admitted as OP.
  • Depending upon his condition he is then admitted as the IP.
  • Emergency cases are accepted near the causality Counter.
  • This module automates the day-to-day administrative activities and provides instant access to other modules, which leads to a better patient care.

DOCTOR:

  • The doctor module is the important module of the Patient management system.
  • Once the doctor enters the hospital, he will log into the system to see the list of patients allotted to him.
  • When the patient meets the doctor,the doctor will examine him and prescribes him the necessary medicines to be taken and tests if there are any to be performed.
  • The patient after undergoing all the tests visits the doctor with the test report.
  •  Depending on the results of the test, the patient may be advised to stay at the hospital.

PAYMENT COUNTER:

  • The payment counter module handles all types of billing for long-term care.
  • This module facilitates cashier and billing operations for different categories of patients like Outpatient,Inpatient.
  • It provides automatic posting of charges like lab tests conducted in different departments.
  • The payment counter module is extensively flexible by which each of our billing plans can be configured to automatically accept or deny

CLINIC CENTER:

  • Clinic Center module starts with receiving tests from doctors and also allows laboratory personnel to generate requests.
  • The Clinic Center Module supports to perform various tests under following disciplines:Biochemistry, microbiology  etc. Tests are performed only after billing is done.
  • This rule is exempted when the case is declared as urgent

INPATIENT:

  • Depending upon the test results generated by the Clinic Center, the doctor decides the status of the patient i.e., whether he is an inpatient or an outpatient.
  • In case, if the patient is declared as in, then the respective patient goes to the receptionist counter and the receptionist there, will allot him a bed in the required ward.
  • At the time of discharge, this inpatient has to pay the maintenance fee along with the test fee and the registration fee depending on the number of days he stayed in the hospital.

ONLINE REGISTRATION:

  • In Online Registration, the user can “sign up” into the system, so that he can get username and Password(chosen by him/her).
  • As soon as the patient get username, he can now login to the system and will be provided with different services.
  • When he/she fills the form, will be given the appointment date, time and the doctor allotted to him by the Receptionist.
  • He can edit his profile.

Office Administration takes care of academic and administrative requirements on campus. Office Administration helps to maintain a paper-free administration. The software generates various certificates based on each module. Only the administrator has the right to use this software. This ensures more security and safety.

Office Administration automation software is content-rich, easy to use and has a user-friendly interface for easy navigation, and takes campus management to the next level.

Office Administration Project

This Office Administration maintains information using Common Application or another form, Maintain Academic/Educational Data, Maintain Personal/Family Data, Maintain and retrieve student information using unique ID for all students. Create custom reports. Maintain School Index Factors and minimum high school performance requirements for admission purposes.

We can generate and issue Certificates to Students / Employees by their ID no. The Certificates for Student is the Bonafide Certificate, Custodian Certificate, Expenses Certificate, and Transfer Certificate. The Certificates for Employee are OD Form, Experience Certificate, Leave Application, Salary cum Service Certificate, and Experience Certificate.

The preamble of the Project

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION software provides the facility to provide to maintain the data about Students (marks, fees, and personal details) and Employees (Salary and personal details) as well as College (Infrastructure and Bank details).

The objective of the project:

The project is intended to achieve the following objectives

  • Generate certificates dynamically just by providing Userid  to Administrator
    •  Maintain all the details of student and employee details
    • The details of all the students and employees have to be clearly maintained
    • i.e., each person  is provided with a unique username and password
    • Verification and validation of Administrator username and password are performed strictly.

Project approach motivation of the project:

                        The proposed system “OFFICE ADMINISTRATION” is the module of the main “OFFICE ADMINISTRATION” project. Here in this project, we provide paper-free work to end-user who uses this application by generating certificates just by providing the ID number and required details. After generating the certificate it asks the user “Do you need one more certificate”.

Conclusion and Future Enhancement 

Conclusion:

            The proposed system “Office Administration” is the module of the main “Office Administration”  with this we can provide paper-free work to the end-users compared to the previously existing “Office Administration” system.
