PWM Based Automobile Braking System With Distance Measurement

Abstract:

In order to prevent the accident and protect from dangerous ends on the roads we are implementing an auto braking system for automobile that slows down the speed of the vehicle using pulse width modulation technique for dc and ac motors that are present in latest electric cars. Then we are commentating on the PWM implementation of the motor and its speed regulation control. In order to regulate the speed we are using an infrared sensor which gives the values accordingly to the amount of infrared light that is received on the receiver.

This will give an analog values this analog values are been sent to controller through ADC. The controller will calculate the distance accordingly to the ADC value and then that makes the motor to be in a controlled manner. Here we can increase or decrease the speed of the motor and at the same time when any obstacle is very much closer than expected then automatically the motor will be gives a braking effect to the vehicle in order to regulate the speed. This allows us to travel in a safe and secure manner. For user convince we can even control manual if required.

Speed Control Of D.C Motor Using Thyristor Dual Converter

Speed Control Of D.C Motor Using Thyristor Dual Converter projects main idea is to implement a micro controller based application for controlling speed of the D.C motor using a dual converter. Main use of dual converter is to easily change the direction of the motor and handle braking system of the motor. This application works on single firing unit and firing pulses, this unit is diverted by converter using a main controller which is also called as master controller.

This application works on three control loops.

  1. One for controlling armature current control.
  2. Second is for adjusting firing angle of oncoming converter.
  3. Third loop is used for speed control.

In order to provide steady state response and efficacy of the system we use proportional pulse integral type of converters.

Stores Management System Project

The ‘Stores Management System’ is targeted to automate the almost all of the processes mentioned above to reduce the clerical labor of the staff working in Stores both technical and as well as Accounts departments using the software Industry’s latest technologies and cost effective tools there by providing the better control to the management by avoiding manual errors etc..,

In this project modules under study are Material Issues module, Reports module.requisitions and Inter stores issues i.e. material issues to other stores based on inter store requisitions. For these two operations, we have to issue the gate passes for both types of operations.

Stores Management System ProjectConclusion:

We have been given the problem of automating the material of stores in APCPDCL

(Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited) at APTRANSCO. Earlier the materials of stores have only been automated. In our project “STORES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ” we have automated the stores of the central power distribution company limited.

In Issues module, we have tracked the information regarding the issues of the receipts for the material that have been stored in the stores of the central power distribution company limited at CPDCL. This information can be easily made available to all the stores throughout the AP through intranet/ Internet.

As a result of this automation, manual workload is reduced and data retrieval becomes easy. This project can be helpful for centralization of information regarding the stores of APCPDCL at APTRANSCO.

Speed Control Of DC Motor By Using PWM Technique EEE Project

The Speed Control Of DC Motor  By Using PWM Technique project commences with the direct current (DC) motor which is a simple electric motor that. It utilizes fields of magnetic and electricity to create torque that switches the motor. The DC motor is utilized to transfer the electrical into mechanical energy for the purpose of driving loads.

The types of DC motor are Flux control method, Rheostatic Control method, and Voltage control method. The armature voltage control method utilizes armature circuit where Va is different without altering the voltage used in circuit of the motor.

Hence, the motor should make use of armature voltage control. When the voltage of the armature is incremented then accuracy of the motor also increment whereas torque-speed curve seems unchanged and flux is constant.

The Power Point presents the different execution of current voltage in the DC motor. When current is passing by a coil in the presence of magnetic field, then the magnetic force generates the torque that switches the motor.

From the figure in the Power Point, it is seen that the electric current is supplied by the commutator externally. The magnetic force is expressed in the form of F=ILB. It acts perpendicular to magnetic field and the wire.

Conclusion:

The conclusion made based on the principle of operation of DC motor depends on electromagnetism. The conductor which possesses current produces the magnetic field. When it is kept in external magnetic area then force is produced in the field which is proportional to the current and strength of the external magnetic field present in the conductor.

Super Intelligent Robot Using Smoke Sensor and Light Projects Abstract

AIM:

Super intelligent robot using smoke sensor and light projects main idea is to develop a robot application which can direct its path automatically based on light.

Description:

In this project TCS230 is the color sensor, which senses color intensity and converts into frequency with 50% duty cycle Square waveform. Measurement of frequency is done using micro controller. This sensor is having internally 3 filters and is programmable, to select desired filter. By this we can get selected compositions of the irradiant light. By using this sensor we can find color of the object.

There are two other sensors used in this application mainly light sensing and smoke sensing. Light sensor is used to display color that falls on LDR surface and display color information on LCD display. And the other sensor smoke sensor is used to detect smoke and microcontroller will set alarm.

Procedure:

The LDR color sensor can directly interface with the microcontroller. If this color sensor is irradiant with any color, it produces 3 different frequency outputs to the microcontroller by selecting the respective RGB filters present in it. Then microcontroller calculates HUE % value with these three composition values. According to this calculated HUE value microcontroller displays that color name.

Industrial Safety Measures System with Sensors and Webcam Abstract

Industrial safety measures system with sensors and webcam projects main idea is to develop a application which can provide security for industries by using sensors and webcams. In industries like pharmaceuticals and chemical industries contnous monitoring is very important so this application will be very useful for in reality.

For any application in the industries there are many parameters to be handled. In this project we are concentrating on temperature and smoke sensors. These sensors are fixed at specified locations, for our application to be performed. The Sensors gather the values and sends the information to the microcontroller continuously. The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the LCD to display. This is a cyclic process which performs till our requirement is done.

In order to reach project requirement we need to reach our standards by allotting certain set points for every sensor for monitoring. If the Temperature Sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Fan ‘ON’ and starts cooling. If the Smoke sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Buzzer ‘ON’ and alerts the operator. This is under safety process. In this project we are connecting the webcam for visibility of changing the parameter conditions.

Applications for this are Industries with heavy parameters to handle, complicated areas where we can’t monitor the conditions manually; these are Now-a-days used in all kind of industrial and commercial complexes.

Vehicle Accessing Using Authentication Project Abstract

Vehicle accessing using authentication project main aim of this project is to develop a RFID based system for vehicle authentication. In this system RFID tags will communicate with RFID reader module at a frequency of 125KHZ. This frequency is passed to controllers for further usage. RFID reader and RFID tags must be set to same frequency for communication between them.

To obtain the required parameters we assign different RFID tags to every vehicle that is to be authorized to pass through. These RFID tags have a range of 8-10cm when ever the vehicle that is assigned with these RFID tags enters the ENTRY/EXIT gates the RFID reader recognizes the RFID Tag and accesses the prior permission to the vehicle by opening the gate. The Microcontroller reads the RFID tag code and displays the time of the vehicle ENTRY/EXIT by using RTC (Real Time Clock) and displays it on the LCD.

Application of this kind can be used in offices, apartments, industries, colleges, Government or Private Sectors where there is a need to allow only authorized or secured vehicles to ENTER/EXIT in a particular area or zone.
