CSE Technical Seminar Presentation on IP Telephony with PPT

Introduction to Technical Seminar Presentation on IP Telephony:

The paper is about the implementation of the IP Telephony. This paper gives the brief description about the IP Telephony, the advantages with the implementation of the telephony, also the challenges which are faced with its implementation and also includes about the users, its business aspects, the issues related to the security and its applications are discussed.

The modern requirements in the telecommunications are increasing extremely, so that the uses of telecommunication networks are experiencing a noticeable change. Currently the usage of telephonic lines is being used, more for the data transfer than for the ordinary voice related calls.

There is a lot of burden on the networks and also the operators which are providing the services. In order for providing the services i.e. to meet the customer requirement the networks are shifted from their services of circuit switching to that of the packet switching networks. This can be implemented in the communication network also the data communication network using IP Telephony.

The concept of the IP Telephony is that the voice and also the fax calls will be transmitted over the IP network i.e. via the internet instead of transmitting over the traditional PSTN. The main difference that exists between the internet and PSTN is their implementation of their switching architectures. The internet works on dynamic routing and PSTN works on static switching methods. The advantage of implementation of IP Telephony is its cost effectiveness, the minimum access charges, its support to the new services, its effective backbones.

The implementation of VOIP, in various forms will give a many complex questions that the consumers will be able to use their communication of the telephone calls in a cost effective way or not. The IP technology plays an important role in multiple businesses in world of the peer-peer communications. We can conclude that the IP Telephony plays a vital role in modern communication.

Technical Seminar Presentation on Broadband ISDN for EI Final Year Students

Introduction to Technical Seminar Presentation on Broadband ISDN:

The paper is about ISDN. The paper includes the various broadband services and their history, various concepts of ISDN, ATM, its configuration and services, the benefits and limitations and also other technologies are discussed.

In general the quality of the service will depend on several factors including the cost, integrity of the data, the capacity of the utilization, providing security, also includes privacy of data along with the feature of the integration.

In order for overcoming many issues of providing the inefficiency in the network, the inefficiency can be in providing services related to data transmission to larger distances which is a complex situation. The break down in the services can also create problem, we have come up with broadband services.

The ISDN is considered as a technology which is capable of providing the network services which are cost-effective with the usage of the public telephonic network. In the network application ISDN is considered as the important phase so that the increasing demand can handle data communications in the computers.

The term ISDN is defined as the integrated digital network which makes use of the digital switches and the paths, for providing different services ex: includes the telephonic and data. ISDN it permits various sources including the voice, data, text and also the other source material transmission which can be on telephonic wires which are existing.

We can conclude that when we use the ISDN, there are many advantages for improving the sound quality and also provides features including call hold, caller id, call waiting more efficiently. And it enables both voice and also the data transmission to occur at the same time, It is also capable of sharing the multiple devices with in a single line. The disadvantage of ISDN includes the cost implementation for wiring, more service charges, and also includes limited availability.

CSE Technical Seminar Presentation on Composite Call with PPT

Introduction to Technical Seminar Presentation on Composite Call:

The paper is about the composite call. When we consider the operating systems calling a system service involves the heavy-weight operation because of the protection domain crossing. In case of the distributed systems the remote services invoking is more costly when compared to that of invoking the local systems; this can be due to the network latency and also the processing overhead.

The composite call pattern is capable of executing the repeated sequences of the service calls and also the simple control structures in a safer way.  The pattern is called as BATCHING.

In simple words a composite call is defined as the program which is sent by the client to be executed in the server domain. It is capable of composing several separate calls to a single call in a server.

It is proved experimentally that though the implementations of the composite call mechanism, gives the high performance analysis should be done carefully.

Cases the problem that arises can be more than that of the performance gain we get. The experiments are still being conducted on the distributed services for providing the greater speedups.

Technical Seminar on Echo Cancellation with PPT for ECE Final Year Students

Introduction to Technical Seminar on Echo Cancellation:

The paper is about Echo Cancellation. The types of echo include the Acoustic echo and the Hybrid echo. Echo cancelers are used as the transmission equipment in case of complex networks.  The new digital network has reflected an efficient change in the operation of the echo cancelers  The network operators which were implementing echo cancellation across the networks are capable of improving the call quality so that the network performance can be increased and also results in reducing the subscriber churn.

The types of echo include Acoustic Echo: which is generated using Analog as well as the digital handsets, the degree of the echo depends on the type and also the quality of the equipment which is being used. Hybrid Echo: it is generated electrically, which are created as the voice signals and are transmitted over the network via the hybrid connection so that the electric energy is reflected back to the speaker from the circuit.

When the Analog and digital phones are being operated on hands-free mode then apart from the acoustic echo even the background noise is also generated by the network. These additional sounds are captured by the microphone either directly or indirectly and multi-path audio is created and then the audio is transmitted to the talker back once again. The digital processing delays and the technique which is based on speech compression are responsible for the echo generation and the quality of voice can be affected in case of the wireless networks.

We can conclude that the Echo cancelers are used as the transmission equipment in case of complex networks.  The new digital network has reflected an efficient change in the operation of the echo cancelers.

IT Technical Seminar on Mesh Algorithms in Parallel Processing with PPT

Introduction to Technical Seminar on Mesh Algorithms in Parallel Processing:

The paper is about parallel processing. Parallel processing is defined as processing of the tasks with several processing units or with number of processors. Generally the powerful computer for sharing the jobs contains more processing units.

Operations which are done simultaneously take less time for computation so that more tasks can be done. Generally a task is divided into subtasks. And the operations of subtasks are done at the same time on different processors. These subtasks are then joined to form a task i.e. a solution to the original problem. Thus we can conclude that parallel processing is used for increasing speed.

The speedup equation is given by speedup = ws/wp where ws denotes the worst case running time of fastest sequential algorithm and wp denotes the worst case running time of the parallel algorithm for the same problem.

A mesh algorithm is defined as, a x b grid which has processor at each grid point. And each processor of mesh is defined as a tuple (i, j),where 1 £ i £ a and 1 £ j £ b. Also each processor will be having a RAM with local memory. At the same time each processor is capable of making calculations related to manipulation like addition, in one unit of time.

The packet routing is defined as the communication with in a process in a fixed connection network. Where the processor has information regarding the other processor it has to be delivered to.

We can conclude that, parallel processing is used in research and development areas. The mesh algorithms discussed in the paper increases the performance of the parallel algorithms.

CSE Technical Paper Presentation on External Sorting with PPT

Introduction to Technical Paper Presentation on External Sorting:

The paper is about the implementation of the external sorting. In general method of sorting, the file which is to be sorted will be first loaded into memory and they sorting of data is done in memory and then output is written. But when we consider the method of external sorting, the data is not loaded in the memory and this can be due to lack of memory resources.

External sorting is defined as the sorting of file which is on either disk or tape. It can also be called as the tape sorting. The method of tape sorting involves two phases of distribution phase and merge phase.

When we consider the distribution phase, the strings are creating by using the internal sorting technique and can be generated one at a time and these strings are distributed based on rule of several tape. If we consider the merge process the strings are merged together to form a longer string and these strings are merged again. The process is continued till the final merge is obtained and the single string is considered as the required sorted file.

When we deal with the merging process the strings which are to be merged is named as the input strings and the one that is generated after merging is called as output string. The advantages when we deal with the merge sort are allows sequential access of records, provides the stable sort and also minimizes the access of the block.

We can conclude that when the data set is too large for the internal sorting to store data in memory then we use the external sorting algorithm.

CSE Technical Seminar Presentation on Smart Cards with PPT

Introduction to Technical Seminar Presentation on Smart Cards:

The paper is about the Smart Cards. According to layman the smart card is like a small computer which is embedded on a plastic card. These smart cards resemble as the normal plastic credit card in size and shape which has a microprocessor for processing the data and also memory for storage of data with the standard of ISO 7816.

The component of the smart card includes the Carrier: the material which is used for making the card. The material should be in such a way that it should be resistant in case of any mechanical failure and should be cost effective , also capable of withstanding at all high temperatures.

The other component includes processor or CPU; the processors being used are 8bit with CISC architecture. In future we will move from 8bit to the 32bit architecture with the usage of Java Cards. Components include ROM: it is used for dealing with fixed programs and the programs once written cannot be changed. When we consider PROM: It is used for loading the serial number of the card and it is small with about 32 bytes. The other components also include EEPROM, RAM also the I/O interface.

Smart Card its implementation is done which also requires a reader. The type of reader used is Read-Write Unit which enables reading and writing to the card property. The reader cost is from $10 to $100. The readers will come along with keypad in order for entry of pin.

The advantages of the smart card include processing of information, also the tamper resistant  The limitation is mainly about the security. Its implementation is being done in various fields.
