CONCLUSION

The Online Book Review Management System project has been successfully completed. The goal of the system is achieved and the problems are solved. This project is developed in this manner that is user-friendly and required help is provided at different levels.

The primary objective is to provide the interactive service to all the students. Different types of services are provided to both the students and staff. The student can avail this service anytime.

This system certainly doesn’t reduces the manpower but helps the development of the available manpower and optimizes the manpower.

LIMITATIONS

The present system is developed for offline communication only.
As the memory capacity is limited to server’s memory we can’t accommodate an infinite number of users.
An unauthorized candidate can take the exam instead of an authorized candidate if he knows his user ID and password.
The images or pictures, which are drawn by the Drawing Tool Bar, can’t be saved.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

To make that only authorized candidates taking the exam their fingerprints, can be taken and compared with stored ones.

Examination centers can be set up at various places and candidates can be asked to take the exam in those centers only. Invigilators should be asked to invigilate at those centers. This eliminates copying and any malpractices by the candidates.

Voice can be provided to all the students by using VOIP (voice over internet protocol).

Student Friendly College Management System

Abstract:

Student Friendly College Management System is a web application which provides a very easy way for students to pay the fee and check the results online. This application maintains the complete information about the students their fee details and their results.

We developed a web application where students can pay the fee online and check the results. This application provides a service to students to check their fee dues and pay it online and students can even check the results online.

Introduction: –

The main objective of our project is to develop a GUI (Graphical User Interface) which is user friendly. It is fast in operation and databases will be up to date. Every user will have their own profile, where they can know about their fee dues, make fee payment online and check the results in .xls format.

Literature Survey: –

We know the difficulty of paying the college fees, exam fees, etc, in college because there are so many students in the college who want to pay the fee. (Students who can’t pay the fee immediately and has to pay on the last day, due to which long queue is seen everywhere and it is a time taking process.

Students, who appear in the exams, eagerly wait for the results, but the university servers are so busy in the time of the results when they are released and lots of time is being consumed in awaiting of the results for coming days. So, we are developing a system in which a student can pay his/her fee from their profile and even check their results.

Problem with our Existing System: –

The main problem with our existing College Management system are:

  • No software for online fee payment system.
  • Busy university servers while the results are released.
  • User login profiles are not user friendly.
  • No online enquiry for fee dues.
  • There is no predefined classification of fee categories.
  • Students fee payment data searching is not available, it is not user friendly.
  • Existing system is total manual process. It is time taking process.

Proposed System: –

To overcome all the problems in the existing College Management System, we have proposed a new system with the following actions.

  • A web page has been created with separate logins and profiles with good security for students and accountant.
  • Student can search his/her results as soon as results are announced in their own profiles and they can check their fee dues and can pay that online from their own logins.
  • Student can choose the fee structure in the way they want to pay and can pay that separately by providing the details based on the method payment they choose.
  • Student can pay college fee, university fee, exam fee, transport fee, CRT fee, etc,.
  • Payment is done only for those who has any fee dues. The transaction gets cancelled if the payment is done beyond the fee dues.
  • An accountant can check status of students who paid the fee and how much. He can insert the fee details from his login which reflects into students fee dues.

Modules of the system: –

  • Administrator
  • Student
  • Accountant

Functionality of the project: –

  • 1) Administrator
    1. Add student
    2. Add accountant
    3. Upload results
  • 2) Student
    1. Updates student details
    2. Check fee dues
    3. Check results
    4. Make online payment
  • 3) Accountant
    1. Insert student fee dues
    2. Check student dues
    3. Check student online transactions

E-Commerce Project Preface and Acknowledgement

The below preface and Acknowledgement is for a simple e commerce website. Students can easily prepare their own preface, Acknowledgement, Limitations and Future Enhancement with the help of the below example.

PREFACE

The main thing, which has been kept in mind   during this e-commerce based Web development, is our best efforts to make it easy, attractive & user friendly.

Let’s take a quick tour to know why you should trust my aayurvedic medicine to find your perfect match!!

Regardless of the type of online presence you hope to achieve—from informational to artistic to commercial—I will help you achieve it with professionalism and style.

This site is developed with one simple goal in mind: grab a visitor’s attention and hold it. Why? Because that is, quite simply, how success is achieved on the Internet.

Case studies have shown that the average web surfer will leave your site within 8 seconds if they fail to understand your purpose or can’t easily digest your message at a glance. That means your website must inform and dazzle instantly and simultaneously if it is to have any chance of competing online.

My goal as a professional web designer is to create a one-of-a-kind website that will not only knock the socks off your competition, but also keep your visitors coming back for more.

Learn more about my custom web design services.

Working Designs To the right are a few examples of my recent web design projects. Feel free to explore my work, and then come back to learn what, specifically, I can do for you.

Welcome to the E-Commerce Project, a unique site in the cyberspace.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

A small web-site as this one has required   help from many quarters. We realized this when we ventured into the area of web development. From the beginning everyone co-operated, supported us for which we express our sincere acknowledgement.

Training  is  the first  step in  the  practical  field  from  where one learns  how to apply  theory  principles  for  this  the   practical  purposes. To develop a successful website, one needs understanding    and   co-ordination  from  all those who are  directly and  indirectly involved in this.

We, the students of Engineering College, find ourselves to be privileged to have golden opportunity to develop website under the guidance of such people without whom designing and developing website successfully would have been just impossible for us. We are thankful to them.

We would like to thank all those who have supported us. A person can be successful only when the team and organization for which they are working have unlimited goal of his perseverance. We hereby, like to show our deep gratitude towards our instructor and project in charge all faculty of college helped us very much.

We are obliged to them for successful completion of our E-Commerce Project.

Last but not the least;

Above all, we should not forget the great director of the world,

‘The Almighty’; let us thank the Almighty for His inspiration.

LIMITATION AND FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

No system or software is 100% perfect or reliable in its sense of functionality and performance. There are always small or big bugs in the system. So our system has also some limitations.

  • Chatting is not possible with our E-Commerce Project.
  • It is not possible to view colors of newly launched bike(s) while purchasing the bike.
  • Future enhancement will include all the functions which we are not able to implement in our system.
  • Like in future we can make the messenger in which it is possible to chat with members of our site.
  • And also try to connect with other messenger.

May be in future it is possible to get solution on the spot.
