Why is project needed?

This project is developed for the physically handicapped people, in the market, there are many products but they do not have safety features like seat belt locking, GPS navigation, multi-control system, Hand gesture & joystick movement system.

This project gyro sensor for gesture movement which is very unique.

We have low battery indication led.

Working operation

Gesture control wheelchair has two modes of operations (gyro/joystick) these sensors will give data to Atmega-328 microcontroller.

the seat belt is locked automatically once the user has seated in place.

The motor driver is interfaced for driving the motors logically as per user directions, its has GSP /GSM for getting the location information.

Gyro  Sensor

  • The gyro sensor is used to for getting the information of how much we have tilted.
  • The gyro sensor is interfaced with ATmega328 microcontroller with SPI pins.

Joystick

  • The joystick is used for manual hand operated movements.
  • Joystick gives x-axis and y-axis values to Atmega328 microcontroller for motor movements

Battery

  • In this project, we are using 12V / 2A Lead acid battery.
  • Lead acid battery is easy to charge.
  • Low maintenance
  • Low cost / easily available.

GPS / GSM

  • We are using a SIM808 module which has built-in GSM/ GPS for location identification and alerting the parents.
  • It works with low voltage 5V.
  • We are using this module for information to our parents with help of GPS and GSM.

DC motors

  • DC Motors are used for wheelchair movement.
  • 100RPM
  • 1Kgcm torque.

This project can be integrated into below areas.

  • Aged people.

Advantages

  • This is easy to install.
  • This project has safety locking system for a seat.
  • Easily / local available spare parts are used in this project when anything not functional we can replace it easily spares are available.
  • It has two modes of operations (Hand gesture and joystick).
  • It has GPS /GSM for getting location via SMS.

Disadvantages

This wheelchair cannot navigate in footsteps.

Conclusion

  • This project is very useful for physically handicapped people which helps them to navigate from place to another place without taking any other human help.

Department Announcement System ECE Project Abstract

Abstract

In most of the institutes, announcements are coming under the major problem. A universal announcement by speakers is mostly deployed in most of the institutes, but there are cases when the announcement needs to be done for a particular classroom or for a particular person.

In that case, such a universal system will not be helpful. One resolution of this problem most of the institutes adopt is deploying one universal system and a separate system for each room and then place people to handle the entire control system.

Though this resolves many issues, it increases the cost of the entire control unit when you have to be dependent on human resources. Automation is one of the most thriving of today’s technology through which many organizations are cutting costs on Human Resources and utilizing human resources in more innovative and productive works.

So here for this issue also we have come up with automating the entire process of announcement where a pre-recorded voice will be played for every announcement in the institutes.

Communication channel box :

In this communication channel box signals from the desktop will be received to microcontroller and microcontroller will send a signal to relay driver  IC (ULN2803)  to switch the relay.

Relays —— SPDT.
Voltage —–12V

Purpose of the relay is to channelize the sound for each classroom.

Amplifier box

This box will receive the signals from mic where we speak and sound is amplified and sent to relay channel junction box.

Advantages

  • Human effort is reduced.
  • Time to convey the things can be done in a more faster phase.
  • They won’t be any communication gap with this setup.
  • We can communicate in multiple classrooms at one time.
  • We can know the delivery report of a speech delivered to the classroom or not with help of feedback button in each classroom.

Classroom Automation using Android App Project Synopsis

Abstract

The aim of this project is to automate sound system in classrooms by which small notice announcements, emergency intimation to student or faculty of the classroom can be communicated from the control room.

In this Classroom Automation project, we are using an android app by which the user can select the classroom or group multiple classrooms to announce script, with this system human effort and time is reduced.

Announcement from control room is captured with mic and feeded into the amplified box, from that amplifier box sound signal is sent into relay switching box, from relay switching box sound is switched into the respective classroom based on user inputs from android app.

Abstract

In present days many accidents are happening because of wrong route driving on highways, even after advertisements on roadside barrier gates and postures but people are not getting it used it and not following that traffic rules, to avoid these accidents we have come up with a product which will detect the vehicle in wrong route driving.

We are using a pocket-size computer called raspberry pi which will have camera attached to it on vehicle front portion to detect the wrong route indication sign boards, this raspberry pi has small speaker attached to it which will alert the driving with voice announcement not to drive in the wrong route and vehicle speed will be reduced to 30Km/hr and parking lights will on for vehicle safety.

Robo Waiter Robot Project Synopsis & Full Report

Robo-waiter 

 Abstract

This project reports on Robo waiter the first robot for serving food in hotels and restaurants and the same robot can be used in the hospital for serving the food.

As it’s very difficult to serve food in big restaurants where restaurants having 100 tables, so we have designed a robot named RoboWaiter which can serve the food from the kitchen to table.

First, the user will order the food from the android app and the order will be received by kitchen master once the food is ready to master will keep the food on Robo Waiter by selecting the table number. This robot waiter robot will travel to that particular by line tracking.

This Robo Waiter project is a good and innovative topic for final year ECE students.

CONCLUSION:

Smarter versions of robowaiter are used to deliver mails within office building / theater and malls and deliver medications in a hospital.

Solar based robot for garden grass cutting and watering the plants

Abstract:

The Solar based robot for garden grass cutting and watering the plant’s advanced ECE & EEE paper gives a description of a prototype of Grass cutting and watering robot, as automatic gardening robots have a great demand in the existing robotic market.

This present robot cuts the grass in the field at the same time waters the garden autonomously by using solar power to recharge itself and to save the environment.

Firstly the robot gets charged throughout the day and uses the same energy to power the motor for cutting the grass and as the robot activates the grass cutting dripping of water will also start in parallel.

The controller receives the environmental data from the sensors like obstacles lawn area and etc and commands the motors accordingly.

A water reservoir is placed above the robot which starts dripping as the robot starts cutting the grass with the motor blades.

Hence the robot autonomously clears the extra grass in the whole field and waters it simultaneously.

Solar based garbage cleaning robot with time slot arrangement

Abstract:

The Solar based garbage cleaning robot with time slot arrangement advanced ECE & EEE project provides the clear description of solar-based cleaning system which can clean the places with respective time slots.

This robot does not require any power from external sources it takes the solar power to actuate the robot. (i.e., If you want to clean a place twice a day then you just need to fix the time at which the robot need to clean).

Firstly the controller will have the path of the places that need to be cleaned. Then it starts the cleaning procedure. Once all the paths are travelled by the robot then it goes to its original position. Robot collects the garbage in its front claws and carries them to dump area at its respective position.

What will your project do?

This is a solar based garbage collecting robot with time slot management, in the current day every individual life is becoming very busy and people don’t like to spend time in throwing garbage safely, so we have come up with a new mechanism like every house will have garbage hanger in defined place.
The robot will travel every day on one particular time slot which is assigned by the user. This robot has a record of where the garbage bags are located, this robot comes to that particular place by line tracking and pulls the garbage bag into its bin, and likewise, it will collect the all houses garbage.

What is the new for this project?

There is no such product in the market.
This project is automatic runs without human interaction, it has solar panel to charge the Battery and it works with time slot management.

What is the current status?

Sir as of now we have ideated the project and designed the plan on paper, we will soon design the robot in solid works and then we will go for fabrication.
We have made research on what motors we have to use, what should be the size of the robot.

Components used?

Robot body will be fabricated on MS sheet metal.

BLDC motors are used for driving the robot forward. (Specifications = 12V BLDC motor, torque = 2kgcms).

A small 2 DOF robotic arm will be used for picking the garbage bags.

Solar based defense cleaning robot with autonomous charging and navigation

Abstract

The Advanced ECE & EEE based Solar based defense cleaning robot with autonomous charging and navigation project provides a clear description of a Solar-based cleaning system which can charge by itself and can navigate to reach the destination to be cleaned or where it can charge.

As we are in the realm of automating the machines around us. Whereas cleaning robots have never encountered a sustainable acceptance in the market due to their heavy complexities in manufacturing and unaffordable costs.

In contrast, this specific robot not only cleans the room but can navigate through rooms to reach to the charging slot or to the muddy field through GPS and sensors.

Firstly the Controller takes input from the GPS to track its route through the doors and commands the motors to move as per the requirement. Whenever the robot encounters an obstacle it receives information through sensors to defend it from brutal hits and avoids falling from steps.

Once the controller senses that its charge is getting depleted through the sensor the robot navigates itself to the charging station and charges itself without any human intervention.
