Two Channel Temperature Logging for Furnaces (Abstract)

AIM:   The main aim of the TWO CHANNEL TEMPERATURE LOGGING FOR FURNACES Project is to develop a data logging system for furnaces in industries through wireless communication.

DESCRIPTION: In this 2012 project we are going to sense the information from the different sensors placed at the remote locations at the industry and that sensed information is send the PC present at the control room. Which has to be monitored by Engineers. Here the sensors we are using are the four temperature sensors connected to the furnaces in the industry that sensed information is send to the control room through the wireless communication technology .i.e., Zigbee. And that sensed information is displayed on the PC’s Hyper terminal.

The sensors information is given to the internal ADCs present in the LPC2148 microcontroller which converts the Analog to digital which will send to the zigbee for wireless transmission.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this Embedded System Final Year project is to measure temperature values from different furnaces in industry and to send this information to the PC connected at the control room.

Microcontroller Based Neural Network Controlled Low Cost Autonomous Vehicle Working:

The Microcontroller we are chosen here is LPC2148 ARM controller. This ARM controller consists of two RS232 ports which is able to communicate with GPS and GSM modem at a time. The operating voltage of ARM is 3.3v which will be done in power circuit block. The target location values (Longitude & Latitude) are sent as message to GSM module which is connected to the Controller. The controller will analyze the current position values of the vehicle and comp [area it to destination position value and make the motors to rotate such that it reaches the Destination. When  going to the destination if there is any obstacle  it will be observed by using IR Transmitter and Receiver and make the vehicle to rotate and move to destination position. Once the vehicle reaches the destination the Buzzer will switches on.

The health Caring Application main objective is to taking care of  all patients health by the doctors in the hospital and their health should be monitored by staff members every time. But when the patients are at their homes it is a risky and time wastage to the doctor to come to the patient’s information. Also the patient’s care taker needs to know the readings changes of the patients. In this project we are sensing the patient’s health information using the sensors and sending to the Graphical LCD to display the readings information. Graphical lcd will be useful in most of embedded applications like GPS receivers to view the graphs & pictures.

In the future this technique will helps us to send the patients health parameters readings like blood pressure, body temperature..etc of the patients to the remotely located doctors PC by implementing the TCP/IP protocol.  

In our proposed system we are using ARM7 based microcontroller LPC2148, LM35 temperature sensor and Graphical LCD to view the patients health parameters readings.

APPLICATIONS:. To view the medical parameters by the care takers, Sending Patient’s health parameters to remotely located doctors

Implementation Of Location Based Advertisement System Using GPS& Graphical LCD

In today’s global position system (GPS) receivers, we are able to pinpoint our own position on the globe. For this we require various parameters like longitude, latitude, and altitude. These parameters are received from the satellites covering the whole world and that information is displayed on the LCD and the same is messaged is routed to cell phone through GSM modem. In this way we are able to navigate the position of the vehicle.

To design the navigation system, we combine the GPS ability to pinpoint location along with the ability of the global system for mobile (GSM) to communicate with a remote system (Mobile Phone) in a wireless fashion. Information from the Satellites is displayed on graphical LCD.

By IMPLEMENTATION OF LOCATION BASED ADVERTISEMENT SYSTEM USING GPS& GRAPHICAL LCD project we can display the characters, numbers, symbols, pictures and any type of images on the graphical display. This can be used in any handheld instruments to display the data. If any improvements are to be made to the project in the future, for further development of this project we can use use colored LCD which can make this project more big.

Grasping Latitude and Longitude Position Interfacing Using Global Position System

Aim:

 The aim of GRASPING LATTITUDE AND LONGITUDE POSITION INTERFCAING USING GLOBAL POSITION SYSTEM project is to control the home appliances from remote locations from a central Server system.

Description:  

          One of the most important communications in the world is a satellite communication. That receives the data globally from the satellite with the perfect position. The GPS module is manufactured for grasping the positions of longitudinal and latitudinal positions using satellite communication. This module is interfaced to the micro controller through a max232 which is a voltage level converter between GPS module to the micro controller. When a message was received from the GPS then the micro controller will display that message on LCD.

Autonomous Vehicle with GPS Navigation Abstract

The Autonomous robot with GPS Navigation  is an unmanned vehicle that runs in a field continuously by sensing an obstacle in its path. This obstacle sensing is possible by an infra red sensor. 

Global Positioning System (GPS) based Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) hardware units with programmable micro-controller to collect x-y-z coordinates at  specified intervals along road and railway networks, and storing location points on the way until the information is requested and send though wireless.
