Multiplayer Snakes and Ladders Game a Java Project

The project “Multi player snakes and ladders game a Java Project” is a game which has been designed in this project and can be played over LAN. The game has been built using Java platform which is platform independent and applet. It is also light weight.

A snakes and ladders game is a simple board game which can be played between two to four players. The four players race their token from start to finish by throwing their dice rolls. The board is played on numbered grid squares which are filled with ladders and snakes on selected boxes. The game is a game of chance and depends on the person’s luck. The size of the grid is 8×8, 10×10 and varies from board to board which will affect the duration  play.  

Description:

In this project Multi player snakes and ladders game, a minimum of two players and maximum four players can play this game. In the beginning of the game, the player’s pieces are placed in the start area. Every player will be given a chance and they have to go about it turn wise. If six appears on the dice then the player can proceed with the game. If the player does not get a six on the dice then the game cannot be played.

The buttons are moved according to the number that rolls onto the device. Once the player’s position is at the bottom of the ladder then he can climb it and reach to the top of the ladder. If the player encounters a snake he has to retrace his steps back by coming to the square where the tail of the snake is there. The game s won when the button of the player reaches the finish point first.        

Conclusion:

The project described above supports various resolution schemes. The save and exit feature in the game give it an extra flexibility. A provision for storing the high scores of the players is provided.

Persistence is the ability of the data object to survive through the different transactions and invocations. The privacy component ensures that the system does not get unauthorized access. Any queries can be solved at the query support. The version control is used for organization and management of persistent objects.

Conclusion:

    Through this project it can be concluded that the database management for multimedia is a necessary requirement and can also be managed like the normal data which is very important for current multimedia applications. The multimedia systems do exist but they can be further enhanced by adding a lot of enhancements which will make the system work in a better way.

        The GPRS technology allows more data transmission and enables faster communication with the service provider. Data is transmitted in terms of packets. For extensive connectivity, MIDP is used as it also offers end-to-end security. Oracle 9i is used for the process of data recovery and is internet based. Also it is easy to use for mobile banking transactions.

Another table is also needed which stores the details about students who have taken books and this table is named as Member book details.

The various details are stored at run time and similarly the transaction details are stored at run time.

This information is either stored in the database and they can be seen when required or they can be seen at run time by selecting the option display.

The earlier systems used to do the performance evaluation part manually but the proposed system maintains all the information in a standard database and generates reports when necessary. The user can carry out the search operation based on the above criteria’s.     

Conclusion:

The project explains clearly the library management process in C++ and Visual C++. Here the connection between databases is established through the programming languages. Also, the system is flexible for future enhancements.

The AAO user verifies all the data that has been sent by the DH user.

If the data is up to the requirements the AAO would sent it to the PAO. In the PAO level, complete access is given to all the master modules. He can then access information about the user accounts. All the records will be maintained in the database rather than the bulky files as was done earlier. In fact most of the work is done by click of a few buttons.

Conclusion:
