This paper presents a project on “Voice chatting and video conferencing a Java Project”. This project is based on audio and video transmission as well as reception. With the aid of this project, two or more persons can shat in an Intranet with one another.

Along with this, the option of video conferencing is also provided too. Emphasis is given on the problem statement and the project is designed around it.

The project is programmed using the programming language JAVA. Along with this, Java development kit, Java media framework and Real-time transport protocol.

This is an entire package which can be used to develop software’s relating to audio and video. Through this package, one can capture the media data and transmitting to the target device.

Description:

In this project Voice chatting and video conferencing a Java Project, it is based on a client-server type of application. Here the server handles all the traffic. The person who is from one network who desires to chat or hold a video conference with another person belonging to the other network then he has to send a request to the server.

The server then accepts the request and a successful chat conversation can be held. In the same way the video conferencing could be  performed.

Java is used for programming purposes in this project and is a standard application providing a host of benefits. It possesses a higher level of programming than other languages. It is also well known for its high level of security features.

Video Streaming a Php Mysql Project

Introduction:

In this project “Video streaming a Php Mysql Project” the details of a video sharing website is provided. Through the video sharing process, users can upload, share and also view the videos uploaded by others. Not only this videos can be edited and uploaded online and has different modules. The several features that are provided by this project are that the users can view the videos. However the users do not have authority to delete the records of the website. This authority vests only with the administrator. It is also a secure and easy to use process. Also, in recent days, there has been a lot of demand for videos.

Description:

In the project Video streaming Php Mysql project, if any user as to upload any videos, he can do so by registering himself in the registration link. The entire system described here is totally computerized which negates all the drawbacks of the previous system. In the design process, a blue print is provided for the implementation, testing and maintenance is provided.

After the software is implemented then it is very essential to test the software. It’s basically a trial to know if the software is best. The software testing includes different kinds of testing. They are unit testing, integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing, white box testing and black box testing. Once the testing is executed, the results are compared with the expected results.

Conclusion:

This project has several advantages. Managing the levels of the project is pretty easy and so is storing the videos. It is easy to maintain up to date information and is cheaper to maintain. Also, manual tracking is not required.

A project’s feasibility depends when it is provided with unlimited resources and given infinite time for completion. However it is imperative that a project’s feasibility is obtained as soon as possible. In this project “V3 mail server a Java Project”, study has been done on the mail mechanism by considering if the proposed system is a cost-viable solution and can be further developed within the budget allocated and the response it will get. Feasibility of the project is studied by considering operational and technical parameters.

Description:

The project described here is flexible and changes can be incorporated. The system can be maintained easily without much rework. In the future an option for attaching files could be built. Furthermore, options such as chatting and mobile alerts could be provided for the benefit of the user.

The primary aim of this project lies in providing a user with accurate and a centralized portal to Uttarakhand roadways and other links. This is a one click for a person who hardly knows anything about Uttarakhand. This website provides information about Dehradun pertaining to tourism and transportation.

This project Uttarakhand roadways have designed a website and have links to various other Dehradun aspects. As soon as the website’s address is typed, the home page opens. This page has links to ‘contact us’, map, and transport. If contact us link is clicked, the contact details about the developer and his address is provided. Map is a link which provides an entire map of Uttarakhand. Tourist attractions and transportation links are also given.

To access this website the user should have an internet connection and a web browser. In this website, you can collect as well as store information. Functions such as placing an order, performing complex calculations and collecting information from the database can be done on the web page. These applications rest on a server and responds to requests from multiple users over the  internet.

Conclusion:

The website designed in this project is easy to access and use too. A person who has basic knowledge about computers and internet can use this website. However this project pertains to information related only to Dehradun. In the future it can be extended and various other sorts of information could be incorporated in it.

The software technology that is used in this system is Microsoft .NET framework. It has a large library built with pre-coded solutions that can provide a solution to common programming problems and a virtual machine that exercises control over the execution of programs written for the framework. A user can combine the pre-designed codes with his own codes according to his  requirement.

Conclusion:

There are several benefits of this project. Firstly it is a web-enabled project and provides a simple way for entering and modifying the data. To prevent invalid data entry, checks are made at every stage. Data storage and retrieval can be done easily as it has a single database.

With the help of desktop search, it becomes easy to search for files and folders on the computer. It is suitable starting point for searching information. In this project, tools are provided in the system to identify which specific user has tried to gain access to the system. This tool is basically an add-on to the system. The project has three modules which makes the system flexible. The three modules of the system are network file/folder search, fastest desktop search and net spy.

Description:

In the project, the network file-folder search is used to obtain information about the shared folder. The particular file/folder can be searched by providing one IP address at a time. Thus there is no option of searching all files together. The file is searched in the IP add range and also in the particular IP address.

The fastest desktop search module is in use when the desktop is opened and the files and folders are searched by their title names, file subject, file category etc. when one runs this application, all the data must be inserted in the database. In the net spy module, when other users try to gain access to the system then the information about user’s IP address and remote location is also given.

Conclusion:

In this project, new features can be incorporated that tends to help the users. It also provides the necessary file information. A dictionary search on the desktop can also be enabled. Also, the systems are connected in LAN. 

Travelling Agency a C++ Project

Travel agencies have to deal with a lot of customers daily. Hence it is very important to maintain records of all the customers. For this purpose we require software that makes it easy to maintain the customer details. The records of various customers can be stored in a single file. The software searches the client data in the database it has created. Moreover the software designed here is used to arrange travel services, give new and improved services and also identify travel related cost savings.

A host of services such as registration, display, search, modify etc are provided. In the registration step, the client has to provide his personal details. In the option of display all the client information is read like name, phone, cost etc. in the search tab, if information of a particular client is required, then that be obtained.

In the modify option, customer details can be changed or updated. In the delete option, record of the particular client such as his name, address and other details are deleted from the database. Modifications are also made to execute additional tasks. Also the project can be extended to provide number of places and availability of  vehicles.

Conclusion:

The project explained here is very useful in maintaining the customer’s details and can work on the existing records of customer details. The workload of the travel agency manager is also considerably reduced. In the near future, the online registration can be implemented. 

CSE Mini Project on Traffic Flow Management Using Wireless Sensor Networks

Introduction:

     The upcoming field of wireless sensor networks combines in a small device sensing, computation and communication.        In this project “CSE Mini Project on Traffic flow management using wireless sensor networks” proposes a novel method to control traffic lights via wireless sensor mechanism. These wireless sensors are placed in the lanes that go in and out of the intersection. These sensors are used to detect parameters like the vehicle’s number, speed, etc and this data is communicated to the nearest control agent that determines the flow model of intersection.

Description:

      The project Traffic flow management using wireless sensor networks’ consists of four elements. They are the Wireless sensor network (WSN), the intersection control agents (ICA), the actuators which are traffic lights and the environment i.e. vehicles. Every sensory node monitors one lane and this data is sent to the ICA. Once the information is receives, the intersection agent chooses the best policy for vehicle flow.

       The intersection agents in different areas coordinate to exchange information and decide which flow model has to be implemented. The model of this project is tested using Glomosim simulator. This simulator is a software is used to simulate wireless and wired network systems.

Conclusion:

     Though the system is ideal for addressing the traffic issues, yet it might face several challenges when it is implemented in a large scale network. The wireless sensor networks are an ideal platform for monitoring traffic which can offer competition to the current technology. Here a prototype of the sensor node for traffic surveillance is developed.

Here in this project a prototype is developed which can analyze the traffic over the network

Description:

This project Network traffic analysis is designed for users of the network. At times there are many users that are using the network. This leads to overload condition during the peak hours. This might result in a slow network connection which makes it difficult to access the network and affect the performance parameters of the network. Earlier detection of network overload was done manually and then the network administrator would resolve the issue.

This project tends to replace this existing method of network traffic reporting. The system designed here can analyse the traffic statistics at all times.  The system developed here can analyse packets and report the statistics of packets transmitted over the network. Thus the validity of the system was also established in this  process.

Conclusion:
The project developed here greatly reduces the problem of network overload which occurs during peak hours. This system would also show the administrators the statistics of traffic over the network and thereby prevent slow internet connections. Analysis of the traffic conditions will allow the administrator to enhance the traffic conditions.

        This system allows browsing of databases and tables from an intuitive Windows and Linux interface. The most required feature of this system was a GUI which was incorporated in the system. Tables can be easily modified in this system as the creation and modification of databases is easily done and exact copies of the tables can be reproduced.

Description:

          The project My SQL connect form leads to a very easy process for creating database and performing data transactions which is simpler to the existing system. Here, creation of stored procedures, functions and triggers are done in an easier way. The SQL query editing customizes highlighting and snippet files. The result f any data grid is stored in a single dump file and also XML files.

            A graphical user interface is provided for creating and the editing of stored procedures and triggers. There is also the system of placing one file per table or also one directly into the host. The result of this transaction can be saved either as an HTML/XML or a PDF file. This system also sends a list of tables, columns and variables directly to the printer.

Conclusion:

          The project discussed here can be developed easily and can also be integrated with other systems. However in this project, it is not possible to find out the minimum and maximum values nor is it possible to make selections in ascending or descending order. This can be enhanced in the future.
