E-Textiles ECE Seminar Report

Introduction to E-Textiles Seminar Topic:

The main objective of this paper is to give idea of E-Textiles. As there are number of changes in the emerging trends gave rise to e-textiles. These e textiles are considered as intelligent clothing because of the embedded components placed in it. As fashion has become the most important one which everyone considers now  the popularity of e-textiles is growing and more researches are going on to advance this technology. E-textiles, are defined as fabrics that can function electrically and can behave physically as textiles which has digital components placed in them.

Brief into design and working Dual Core CPU:

The e- textiles can be manufactured in two methods one is by placing the electronic devices like conducting wires, ICs, LEDs and batteries into fabrics and the other includes usage of transistors, diodes and solar cells . The material which is more suitable for making of e-textiles is organic electronic materials because of its conductivity and can be designed as inks and plastics. First proper conducting materials has to be chosen for building the layers.

The Three important parameters which  are to be considered for non conductive fabrics are Dielectric constant, loss tangent, and thickness. The circuit design is placed on the fabrics either by sewing or embroidery. A conductive thread is made use for electrical connection between layers.

Advantages and Disadvantages and Applications:

E-textiles are light in weight and flexible. There are no wires present. These are not visible to others. Manufacturing cost is also cheap. For washing the e-textiles only dry cleaning has to be done. These are used in physical therapy. They can act as batteries. They can be used for monitoring homes for noxious chemicals. They can be used to find the movement of people.  By using this we can adjust light or sound systems.

Dynamic TCP Connection Elapsing Seminar Topic

Introduction to Dynamic TCP Connection Elapsing Seminar Topic:

The main objective of this paper is to give idea of TCP connection elapsing. As usage of computers are increasing are day to day, as a result the usage of networks is more. The networks uses Transmission Control Protocol connection. The user on the network expect the connection continuously without any interruption. There is a problem that many of the times the TCP connection gets elapsed. When this connection gets elapsed there is no transmission, this may irritate the user. This theory has been developed to avoid such kind of problems.

Brief into Dynamic TCP Connection Elapsing:

When there is any fail-over of the connection then the user may like to move a socket from one machine to another such that connection on the socket is not last. To move the socket we need to follow three elements such as packets of the connection are sent to the new owner of socket and the previous owner should not receive any packets.

The key feature of transmission control protocol is peer can be left unaware when the connection is being passed from one host to another host. In the kernel new connection is created such that the connection which is resumed by previous owner is continued. This results in the transfer of packets continuously.

The transmission control protocol consists of a kernel that can perform the operations like dumping and restoring. This is used for debugging and demonstration.

CSE Technical Seminar Report on Dynamic Memory Management

Introduction to Technical Seminar Topic on Dynamic Memory Management:

The main objective of this paper is to give idea of dynamic memory management. As usage of computers are increasing are day to day, memory management is more important one to be considered. Dynamic memory management is defined as the process of dynamically allocating the memory. The memory when not in use should be freed such that the computer system can work effectively.

Brief into dynamic memory management:

The memory allocator should meet four design criteria such as efficiency of representation, speed of allocation, speed of reusing and utilization of memory. Memory allocator must examine all the segments in the pool and two search criteria’s are followed , they are first fit and best fit.

The problem of fragmentation can be achieved by the algorithm and roving pointer method. In algorithm, first the address is searched in the string address and verifies whether the segment is free or not. If the segment is found free then the segment is divided into two parts i.e length and remainder. The boundary tags are allocated and is exited. If all the memory is searched without any success then it comes out with an failure.

The main problem with the algorithm is it does not specifies where the search has to begin. Roving point method specifies where the search has to begin. When a particular segment of memory is released, then it combines with the other segments and forms a larger segment.

Seminar Report on Dynamic VPN Networks

Introduction to Seminar Topic on Dynamic VPN Networks:

The main objective of this paper is to give idea of virtual private networks. As usage of internet is increasing  day by day, In internet and intranet one can’t expect high security, the major problem is the businesses cannot achieve the benefits of internet and intranet such as successful business transactions etc. In order to avoid these problems  a virtual private network has been developed.

Brief into VPN Networks:

Dynamic virtual private networks offer high security and  flexibility that traditional VPN’s. Through this dynamic VPN we can access more information. A dynamic VPN is known as intranet enabler because  It enables an intranet to offer more services which allows the business to make benefits. Before using this vpn’s one has to be given access rights.

These access rights are given by the local registration agent. When this access rights are given only the user can send and receive information. Only certain rights are given to user such that only certain information can be accessed. For example if we consider employee Id and badge system, in this system a employee is given a unique number by the vpn’s through which he can access . The vpn’s critical aspect is agent based architecture because the agents communicate by using a standard protocols. This allows the user to use any browser or applications.

  Advantages:

VPN Provides high security. By using this we can exchange information like web files etc. The application behaves more independently on virtual private networks.  It is more flexible.

Seminar Report on DVD Technology and Applications

Introduction to Seminar Topic on DVD Technology and Applications:

The main objective of this paper is to give idea of DVD technology. As there is huge growth in technology, DVD technology was developed. A digital versatile disc has double density; it is a double sided compact disc. DVD’S are the permanent storage devices which are portable and easy to carry. These are same as compact discs but the capacity of DVD’s is up to 17 Gb. The major difference between CD and DVD technologies are physical characteristics like thickness, data structure characteristics like laser wavelength, and operating characteristics. This uses laser technology for manufacturing optical discs. The laser which is used to read dvd’s has shorter wavelength.

Brief into DVD Technology

In the manufacturing of DVD first step is a glass base is coated with light-sensitive photo resist, in a sodium silicate solution by using a laser to generate digital signal. Nickel layer is place on the photo resist. Electroplating is done on the surface of the nickel layer. A aluminum layer is formed on that and these layers are bonded by melting or by using ultraviolet.

Analog signal is then converted to digital signal , the digital signal which is  compressed using DVD compression is stored on the DVD. According to the surveys, usage of dvd’s has been grown rapidly.

  Advantages and Applications:

DVD has higher storage capacity.  It is portable. DVD-audio is used for interactive playback of audio files and for playing video files. DVD-ram is used for reading and writing which is used in computers as temporary storage device.

Seminar Topic on DTM Dynamic Synchronous Transfer Mode

Introduction to Seminar Topic on DTM  Dynamic Synchronous Transfer Mode:

The main objective of this DTM is to provide high speed network. As the usage of networks is increasing day by day, users expect high speed data transmission. As a result ,this technology was developed.

DTM can be defined as a form of circuit switching which uses time division multiplexing for dynamically reallocating available bandwidth to users. This DTM has ability to adapt bandwidth based on traffic. By using this DTM, Providers are able to provide high speed communication for enterprises, residential and small offices.

Brief into DTM:

This DTM can be used in both distribution and communication such as application communication. DTM mainly makes use of circuit and packet switching for building high speed networks. Network resources are reserved throughout the way from sender to receiver before the transfer is started, and circuit is created in circuit switching networks.

By using this circuit switching large amount of data can be transferred with a guaranteed transmission. Packets are used to support high speed transmission even in huge traffic. DTM has been designed for unidirectional medium which is shared by all the nodes connected. DTM channels have properties like simplex, multicast, multirate and Renegotiated.

DTM has two different techniques for transmitting IP traffic i.e IP over DTM and DLE. IP over DTM uses the DTM networks for transmitting IP traffic on a hop-by-hop basis. DLE can be used for establishing virtual LANs across the DTM network which makes it possible to attach IP nodes to the DTM network.
