This method can be used in copyright protection for digital media, audio and video. The secret information is fed within the host data and is made imperceptible thus fostering reliable communication to a receiver.

Steganography Java Project Description:

    This project Steganography encompasses not only imperceptibility but also has the provision of undetectability by any steganolysis tool. In this project the information hiding is done on an image file. It includes information about the file and image file where the user would want to save the image and extrude it.

      In this program, the user has two options i.e. encrypt and decrypt. He needs to run the application. If encrypt is selected, the application allows the user to select the image file, information file and other options to save the file. If decrypt is chosen, then the application only asks for selection of image file and path specification for saving the file. Encryption is for hiding the information while decryption is used for obtaining secret information.

Conclusion:

    This project is very interesting and also presents a secure way of transmitting hidden information. The LSB approach is lucidly explained in the project. A stego-key is also applied to the system foe embedment of the message onto cover image. A lot of image formats can be used in this project. This will be the foremost methods for security in the digital world.

In order to manipulate a mesh, it is given a digital armature (sculpture). This process is called rigging. Various other techniques can be applied, such as mathematical functions (ex. gravity, particle simulations), simulated fur or hair, effects such as fire and water and the use of Motion capture to name but a few. The aim of 3D animation is to make an animation look very believable in an appearance close to real life. 2D animation techniques tend to focus on image manipulation while 3D techniques usually build virtual worlds in which characters and objects move    and interact. 3D animation can create images that seem real to the viewer.

Other animation techniques like drawn on film animation, paint on glass animation, pinscreen animation and sand animation are discussed in the research paper.

It defines improved compression algorithms for audio and video signals, and efficient object – based representation of audio-video scenes.  There are 3 main features of MPEG-4 that distinguish it from other technologies: object based nature, interactivity and a high degree of compression.

MPEG is not just audio or video specification. It is a complete multimedia protocol. In MPEG-4 , audio-video objects are encoded separately into their own Elementary Streams (ES). The Scene Description (SD),also referred to as the Binary Format for Scene   (BIFS),defines the spatio-temporal features of these objects in the final scene to be presented to the end user .Object Descriptors(ODs) are used to associate scene description  components to the actual elementary streams that contain the corresponding coded media data. ODs carry information on the hierarchical relationships, locations and properties of ESs.

What is Mobile Ad hoc Network

Description: The research paper What is Mobile Ad hoc Network describes what mobile ad hoc network is. It is suggested in the research paper that a communicating network can be established instantly having several nodes via MANET without centralizing anything or any posh infrastructural equipment. Such kind of networking is done usually in calamitous situations like disasters and military interventions.   The nodes move randomly; hence at a given point in time, an ad hoc network exists between the nodes, giving rise to an arbitrary network topology. MANETs can be dynamically formed for any group of users.

MANET is not like the traditional mobile wireless networks in which base stations, access points and servers have to be deployed before the networks can be used. a MANET operates on bandwidth constrained variable-capacity links. Wireless links have significantly lower capacity than hard-wired links. As such, a MANET has relatively low bandwidth links, high bit error rates, and unstable and asymmetric links. This is in contrast to wired networks which are characterized by high bandwidth links, low bit error rates and stable and symmetric links. One effect of having a low link capacity is that congestion is typically the norm rather than the exception.

Disadvantages of MANET: Disadvantages of MANET are described thus in the research paper. Nodes that are in the transmission range of each other are able to send the data packets directly. However, when the node needs to send data to a non-neighboring node, the data packets will have to be sent through a sequence of multiple hops, with the intermediate nodes acting as routers. This indicates an increase in the number of hops taken. Throughput will decrease speedily when the number of hops is increased. This could be a major flaw in the whole process.

Nodes of a MANET cooperate in the task of routing packets to destination nodes since each node of the network is able to communicate only with those nodes located within its transmission radius R, while the source and destination nodes can be located at a distance much higher than R.

The routes of conventional protocols are tailored in order to meet the requirements of MANET. . To guarantee that routing tables are up to date and reflect the actual network topology, nodes running a protocol continuously exchange route updates and re calculate paths to all possible destinations. The main advantage of the proactive protocols is that a route is immediately available when is needed for data transmissions.
