Bandwidth estimation for IEEE 802.11 based ad hoc Networks project is a 2008 cse project which is implemented in java platform. Main aim of this project is to propose a new model for accurately calculating the amount of resource that are remaining in channel and compare the quality of service with existing BRUIT, AAC and AODV protocols and newly proposed protocol.
From past few years quality of service for ad hoc networks are based on IEEE 802.11 standards. But these protocols which are proposed under IEEE standards are not accurate. By this new method bandwidth can be effectively analyzed and increase quality of service in ad hoc networks.
