Heavy Electrical Industry in India includes transmission, power generation, distribution, and utilization equipments, turbo generators, boilers, many types of turbines, transformers, switchgears and many allied items. Heavy electrical industry manufactures majority of the products in India that has items such as transformers, switchgears etc. and used by all Indian economy sectors. The major areas multi core projects for power generation, nuclear power stations, petrochemical complexes, chemical plants, integrated steel plants, non-ferrous metal units, etc are using it.
