Seminar Report on Integrated Transmitters

Introduction to Integrated Transmitters Seminar Topic:

It is very necessary to have the communication link between the space crafts and the satellite in the space so that infrastructure of the space works properly.  In space all the data receiving satellites are linked with each other and they are placed in the LEO (low earth orbit) around 300-1000 km of altitude.

They are connected to the integrated transmitters of the earth for data transmission and exchange. Theses integrated transmitters are placed on the number of earth station on the earth. They form the orbit link between the satellites for relaying the data. They almost cover the 36000 km of the earth perimeter.

For linking the satellites we generally use the appropriate wave length and the polarization is kept proper for better link connection. Wavelength should be appropriate to meet the requirement and should be polarized. To provide an asymmetric link a link budgets should be used.

Integrated transmitters have two reluctant piezo actuators connected to each other in parallel. They are connected to collimator and capacities position sensor connected to each other with the help of switch. They are connected with mono-mode flexible fiber that connects all the components in the transmitters these two actuators are connected with two opt mechanical Switch.

These fibers are connected to anamorphosers that have collimator and focuser and also active emitter.  These anamorphosers have LED connected to them for giving signal.

On the other side redundant emitter are connected, this emitter also have LEDS connected to them.

Seminar Topic on Hyper Threading with Seminar Report

Introduction to Seminar Topic on Hyper Threading:

It allows processors to work more efficiently. It is the new technology from Intel. It allows the processor to execute several instructions together. It provides two logical processors in a single processor package. This technology offers improved performance of system. It also gives improved reaction and response time.  It also increases the number transaction. It allows us to create multiple threads in the systems.

Utilization of Processor Resources: -It provides a second logical processor in a single package for higher system performance. The Intel Net Burstmicro architecture provides optimal performance when executing a single instruction stream.

Multi-threaded Applications: -To gain access to increased processing power, programmers design multiprocessor (MP) environments. We can execute multiple threads in the processor and they all work in parallel, for that uses out-of-order instruction scheduling to keep as many of its execution units as possible busy during each clock cycle. The Xeon processor is the first to implement Simultaneous Multi-Threading. In LINUX the Hyper-Threaded processor has two virtual processors is treated as a pair of real physical processors. Linux has very nice capability to performance of hardware.

implementing hyper-threading: -It doesn’t add too much complexity to the hardware.Xeon processor build by Intel has the capability to implement multi threads together. We can divide the processor resources into the three resources like first for sharing, second for doing partition and last for replicating.

What it can do: – Today most software are based on the multi-threading, so it can’t work on single processor so we need multi-processor so they can work in parallel ad perform the operation the operation simultaneously. This in turn reduces the work load on the processors and gives the better performance.

STAGES OF RMI:- The authorizing component is an important part of the overall chain to ensure the high quality result as experienced by users this comes under first stage that is high-quality media streams. Second stage is Real-time digital storage and playback of multiple independent streams and third stage is for transferring more than one media together and the last one is rendering of immersive audio and high resolution video.

DELIVERY OF HIGH-RESOLUTION MEDIA: -The multimedia storage server plays an important role over IP networks for users and to do is the careful design applications. For this the server need two things that are first it must do efficiently storage of the data and second is that it must schedule the retrieval and delivery of the data.

Error Control and Retransmissions: – In it data may lost during the transmission between the server and the destination location. Data should be entered properly otherwise in may generate errors and we need to do it all again. It does transmission in two ways Broadcast Retransmissions, in which all server nodes receive a packet retransmission, request and Unicast Retransmissions in which,we might need to transfer the data again to the server node for completing the packet that is required. This is better and efficient.

Paper Presentation on Data Warehouse and Data Mining

Introduction to Paper Presentation on Data Warehouse and Data Mining:

It is a collection of the data in support of management decision making, it is subject oriented, time variant and non volatile. It is a multi dimensional database and it can be categorized in three categories they are Enter pries data warehouse in which data warehouse provides a central database for decision. Another is Operational data store (ODS) in which broad enterprise wide scope, and the third one is Data Mart which is a subset of data warehouse and it supports a particular region. This is built using dimensional data modeling where fact tables are connected with dimension tables.

Interface with other data warehouses: – it is likely to be interfaced with other applications that use it as the source of operational system data. It can be a better single and consistent source for many kinds of data than the operational systems.

Four ways to build a data warehouse: – There are four kinds of approaches to build warehouse they are top-down, bottom-up, hybrid and federated.

Requirements: – It can exhibit performance and usage characteristics across a wide spectrum in which some are read-only and are designed for fast on-line query processing. It also has write-only. The two features of data warehouse are query performance and load performance.

Data mining: -it is the technique used for extracting using information from the large databases. This process is not simple because the user may determine that the selected data is of poor quality or it did not produce the results of the expected quality. It consists of hardware, software, “warm ware” (skilled labor). It also supports the transformation of data to information. The process of data mining include the most basic form of query and reporting, presenting the output in graphical, tabular and textual forms.
