Geometric Packet Loss Java Project is for CSE Final year students who are interested in Network management related projects. This projects main aim is to implement a software application which can analyze packet loss accurately from end to end. This application is developed by considering issues in present packet loss analyzer software by implementing new algorithm.

Introduction

As the usage of internet network had increased usage of packet data had increasing now it had became compulsory in certain situations where data analyzing is made compulsory. So this usage had made to implement new network protocols. In order to maintain performance of both TCP and UDP based applications analyzing packet loss had became compulsory.

There are many improvements made by network engineers for improving packet loss but due to scaling properties of traffic in packet switched network this cannot be possible.Network operators have the ability to passively monitor nodes within their network for packet loss on routers using SNMP.

End-to-end active measurements using probes provide an equally valuable perspective since they indicate the conditions that application traffic is experiencing on those paths for better security in the network.

Computerized Maintenance Management System Java Project


Maintenance division in DOE is responsible for the installation and commissioning of the machines and also for their maintenance located at six different shops. The main activities of maintenance involves preventive and breakdown maintenance.

The Development of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) module which is a part of the Integrated Manufacturing Information System (IMIS), facilitates in maintaining the information about installation & commissioning  of machine tools, their re_installation, upgradation and retrofitting details.

It also helps in maintaining  the records about  preventive maintenance planning & schedule, breakdown maintenance details, spare parts planning and inventory management. Based on the records in database and information produced by flexible queries, appropriate decision can be taken by the management for future course of actions.

COMPUTERISED-MAINTENANCE-MANAGEMENT-SYSTEM

In addition to the basic task of pursuing Breakdown maintenance & Preventive maintenance, the failure rate & performance aspects have to be assessed time to time which serve to evolve strategies for higher availability.

The control / monitor of work orders, allocation & maintenance related data; in manual mode is cumbersome & time consuming where budget control systems Projects can be useful. As such to make faster & reliable information system pertaining to maintenance activity, the PC based system has been planned. 

SCOPE
            The scope of this project is to develop Computerised Maintenance Management System. 2) Citizen module

Each of the citizens, who has a complaint to register, must first register with the Software. For the registration part each person enter their details like name, address, phone no., E-Mail ID etc. and get a User Id & password from the Software. Once the registration is complete, the citizen can sign-in to the website & register their complaint.

3) Crime module

This module is used for entering all details about the crime. It contains the date and time, police station where it is recorded, place, Nature of Crime, Location of the Crime etc.

4) Search module

Interactive Voice Response System

INTERACTIVE-VOICE-RESPONSE-SYSTEMInteractive Voice Response System is a telecommunication project which is used to implement new business environment to fulfill certain requirements which is related to intelligent voice response. IVRS is one of the fast growing systems which will transform present business model in to customer useful model. This model is a voice recording system where voice responses are stored in database and when any customer requests for information through his mobile using key pad to navigate to the interested filed to find his answer. 

Decision tree is used to root the caller to his requested service based on the keypad inputs given by user. Basically IVRS systems are used to check bank balance, daily information on stocks, live updating on entertainments like movie show timings and ticket availability. 

            In telecommunication, Intelligent Voice Response, or IVR, is a mobile technology which works on the customer key pad number inputs using a normal phone call. IVR system will root the calls on the inputs submitted by customer to the desired voice recording system. Voice recordings are stored in the database and customer will hear pre-recording voices and inform customer about further rooting procedure to be followed.

NETWORK-LOAD-MANAGER-A-JAVA-PROJECT

In a software environment we come across different scenarios like handling load of the network which is one of the important parts in any software company so this application mainly deals with this problem, by implementing web farms which include multiple machines on a single network working as a single server. Using this single server method admin can handle server in a better way compare to handling multiple servers.

Companies may not be interested in buying high level machines for maintaining load balancing because of the cost of server’s .Load balancing application can provide solution in that case by handling overload with cheaper mid-level machines.

Load balancing is implemented by considering few new features like pie pool which is helpful in scalability compare to existing sharing systems. Basic functionality of pie pool feature is to share load of primary system by secondary system when primary system is down.

With this feature there is no chance of disturbance in the work and failure of servers. This feature can be possible by implementing interaction mechanism between each server. When primary server is down it will inform to secondary server to handle the load.

Need for Study

A Project Report On Analysis of Customers Using Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) in Hyderabad

OBJECTIVES:

–    To compare efficiency and quality of the service providers.
–    To measure the market share of major service providers among student community.

METHODOLOGY OF STUDY:

–    Data is collected from the primary and secondary sources.
–    Primary Source:
A well structured questionnaire is prepared to know the respondents opinion.
–    Secondary Source:
Different web sites, company reports, research companies reports (McKinsey, PWC, etc…).

LIMITATIONS:

–    The responses may vary from one subscriber to another. The responses given may be biased and depend upon the age and experience.

–    Data collected cannot be asserted to be free from errors, as the sample size is small
–    In spite of taking all the necessary measures there is a chance in occurrence of minor errors due to the lack of experience on the part of researcherANALYSIS OF CUSTOMERS USING GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS (GSM)

Out of 200 respondents who participated in the study 72 are using Air Tel, 79 are using Vodafone, 31 are using Idea and 18 are using Cell one.

The main criteria of selecting the service provider is the network and the friend circle if many uses in their friend circle people are going to that service provider. Especially the students where the study is conducted they are opting for a particular service provider because many uses in their friend circle.
The packages are playing vital role in choosing a particular service. In this area packages offered by Vodafone are comparatively better than the other service providers that’s the reason market share of Vodafone is more than the others. The network of Vodafone is poor in rural areas they have to improve the network if they want to increase their subscriber base. The customer care of Vodafone is good.
The network and packages of Air Tel is good so, it occupies the second place in the market share of student community. The majority subscribers of Air Tel are business people the packages and services are more beneficial to them. If Air Tel wants to increase their subscriber base they have to give more attracting packages. The customer care of Air Tel is good.

Idea occupies third place in the market share of student community. The network and packages are average. The customer care of Idea is poor.

Cell one occupies fourth place in the market share of student community.
The network of Cell one is excellent in every part of India but the packages and the customer care of Cell one is very poor.

Though the figures show Air Tel has major share in market, the study of On Analysis of Customers Using Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) in Hyderabad has shown that among student community to which the study is conducted Vodafone has larger share than Air Tel. Reasons like Packages offered by Vodafone are attracting students, which makes it a have a larger share. Services and network of Air Tel is good compare to the other players in the market but it is VODAFONE which offers better packages.
