1. Collecting information:

It is the first step where the system will collect data from a custom search engine and store it in a database for further processing. Data is stored in the form of text, URLs, and descriptions displayed on each web page.

2. Pre-processing:

It is the second step where each entry returned from a textual query is processed and its term frequency vector extracted. 

3. Similarity Identification:

Multidimensional projection techniques may be employed to generate visualizations that favor the perception of groups of similar documents. Such methods typically represent documents as points in a two-dimensional visual space, where neighboring points correspond to documents with similar content. However, points only convey information on neighborhood relations.

4. Ranking:

Snippets collected in similarity are then ranked in this module using the following algorithm.
• Text-based ranking algorithm.
• Weighted page ranking algorithm.

5 . Optimization:

This module Optimizes the placement of the snippets to avoid overlapping while preserving data neighborhoods as computed by the projection.

Implementation

For the implementation we have used different web technology ie., PHP, javascript, ajax, and open-source databases i.e., MySQL

Conclusion:

We introduced the Snippet visualization technique to visualize the collection of the textual result returned from the webpage.
The system collects URLs from webpages displayed as a result of a search query and stores them in the database.
After storing the data in the database it will display all collected text, URLs, and descriptions on the server side.
Then it starts preprocessing the collected URL. Hence it is useful to the system to do further task. Finally, preprocessed data as output is displayed.

Introduction

Sports Resources Management System is a web and android app. The admin can add and delete resources on the web and manage the users in accepting and rejecting resources. The users can book the resources from the android app and collect them from the office within 20 min and even cancel the request.

Existing System

In the existing system, the users have to visit the sports office manually and collect the resources. And also the users cannot reserve a resource from wherever he/she is. Even though the user is blocked, he can go to the office and make a request for the resource. The admin has to manually check the user if he/she is in the blocked list and issue the resource.

Proposed System

In the proposed system, the users can reserve and book the resource from wherever they are and collect it within 20min. In this system, if a user is blocked he cannot book the new resource until he clears the fine. The user can check the fine amount to be paid by him in the android app.

There is an admin and the user i.e., a student. The minimum requirement of the user is that he/she must understand basic English and must know how to book a resource, check the fine and collect from the sports office. The admin must know how to accept the user’s request, block the user, issue resources manually and collect fines from users and unblock users.

Module Description

There are two modules in this College Sports Resource Booking project. They are users and admins.

Features of User

The user is a student who is going to use the Android Application “SportEasy”. The app has the following features:

  • Can view all the resources available in the sports block with its count in the app. This reduces the inquiry time at the issue counter.
  • He can send a booking request with just one click so that he can collect it in 20mins from his booking time.
  • The user also has the option to cancel the booking request within 20 minutes of the booking time.
  • User can view all their past booking requests with their status so that they can know what requests he made.
  • The user has the option to set his password to a new one when he forgets his password or wants to change it.

Features of Administrator

The administrator is the one who accepts and approves booking requests. They handle the Web application. The functionalities of the admin module include:

  • Updating the booking depending on whether the resources were returned or not and imposing fines accordingly.

The software takes care of all the requirements and is capable of providing easy and effective storage of information related to students who book sports resources. Responsive web design and mobile apps make work easier and safe for any field. With the provision of an easily accessible user interface, the entire process of booking and approval of resources, along with other features, has become extremely facile while also significantly averting the numerous errors that would otherwise be caused in a manual system. With this platform we developed, we are hoping to achieve the following:

Limitations

The College Sports Resource Booking mobile application which has been developed for the students for booking sports resources is only compatible with android versions 5.0+, it requires a minimum android runtime version of 5.0
The Admin has to check the timetable while issuing a resource.
There is no deadline for the user to clear the due and no notification system to intimate the user to clear the due.

Future Scope

This application can be enhanced by including numerous new features. One such feature is adding a notification system through which the admin can send notifications to a user regarding his bookings. In the current system, the user should manually go into the app and check whether the resource is accepted or not. Instead, an improvement to this would be sending a confirmation to the user when his booking request is approved by the admin. In case of unavailability of a resource, a “notify when available” button could be included too.

As of now, when a student wants to book a resource, the admin manually checks whether the student has a free hour at that particular time and issues the resource accordingly. But in the future, an app can be made which itself detects whether the student is having a free hour or not, thereby eliminating the involvement of the admin.

Subsequently, a separate page linked to the admin webpage could also be developed, where the admin can add updates about upcoming sports events or competitions in such a way that these updates will also be visible in the mobile app for students, therefore allowing them to be aware of all the ongoing or upcoming sports events through their mobile.

The purpose of our study is to understand the public’s perception of public restrooms and how satisfied the public is with the cleanliness of public restrooms. We also focus on whether long-term improvement programs like the Swachh Bharat Mission lead to the installation of enough public toilets in India and how the lack of toilets affects people in India.
We have collected responses across India during the period June to July 2020, where our sample size is 140 respondents.
Safe sanitation is an important parameter for a clean environment as well as for ensuring public health and hygiene. It also plays a vital role in the economic development of society. Access to essential basic facilities, such as toilets for all, is a minimum requirement for safe sanitation. To eliminate open defecation by 2019, the national flagship program, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM-Urban), launched by the Government of India in urban areas, has made remarkable progress.

In the process of achieving the overall goal of SBM, several innovative concepts have evolved and emerged to increase access to toilets.
In this project, we discuss the methodologies used to maintain the cleanliness of open restrooms and the proposed facilities for specially disabled people. One of the best possible methods to prevent open defecation is to first provide infrastructure facilities where needed. Mainly in the north side of India, open defecation is considered no different. They are mostly men who prefer open defecation. The next thing is to maintain the infrastructure so that visitors can use it efficiently and effectively.

Many issues need to be addressed to keep restrooms open properly. First and foremost is proper and frequent cleaning of open restrooms. Although the municipality has taken many steps to improve the maintenance of open restrooms, it is still not maintained as expected. Now, they have even started using the latest technologies to achieve this. While workers are available or trying to perform their duties properly, the most significant difficulty they face in many places is the availability of sufficient water to clean toilets.

Recommendations:

  • The availability of public latrines can be increased and the government should ensure that latrines are located every 5-6 km.
  • Effective campaigns to stigmatize public toilets.
  • Explain the consequences of human use, sanitation, and unsanitary conditions.
  • We believe that if the government provides more public toilets, people who are constantly unable to go to work and beg will be employed.
  • Public toilets, especially if poorly maintained, can lead to the spread of certain diseases.
  • In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 became known to spread not only through respiratory droplets but also through aerosol particles that would remain dormant for some time.
  • Public toilets have several access points: door locks, washbasins, and faucets, which need to be cleaned periodically. PHLUSH, a non-governmental organization, has published guidelines for the safe opening of public toilets. This includes, for example, “Installing hand hygiene stations in the bathrooms at the entrance and asking them to clean their hands before entering to prevent surface contamination.”
  • We also recommend eliminating forced ventilation that spreads viruses and bacteria into the room.

Limitations of the study:

No one in this world is perfect. This is a tendency to make mistakes. During the study of the subject, special care was taken to gather the best information, but some things went out of control. Below are some of the limitations of the study:

  • The survey should not be considered complex, as it is possible to contact a limited number of respondents due to time constraints.
  • The goals and objectives of the study, as well as the questions to be explained to the respondents, and their answers, may be one-sided.
  • Some respondents were reluctant to respond.
  • Only a limited sample size is considered for the study, and the conclusions drawn from it may not reflect the general population.
  • Research is limited by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Conclusion:

The study was conducted to design solutions for effective public toilets in cities. The study achieved its goal by fully analyzing and determining the course of the use of public toilets and user satisfaction and how the lack of toilets in public places affects people. The results of the study show that urban markets, highways, tourist attractions, etc. Also, toilets should be clean and hygienic and placed every 5-6 km distance. The report concludes that the government can take several steps based on the recommendations. The government should adopt some recommendations to ensure that public toilets operate as instructed.

The present study aims to find out the “Consumer preference towards pricing strategies of washing Powder”. It emphasizes gauging the strength level of the perception in the retailer’s mind. This MBA Marketing project mainly deals with ascertaining the perception of  Vanish Washing Powder and suggestions to improve the market share.

The alternate title of this project is Pricing Strategies adopted by brand vanish around Hyderabad.

The Pricing Strategies study is based on both primary and secondary data. The data collected in the research is primary data through the mode of structured direct personal interviews. The data was collected from secondary sources such as journals, magazines, reports, previous reports, and the company web.                                             

It is found that most people prefer to Vanish washing powder for the quality and cleanliness and maximum numbers feeling good. They suggested that the company needs to develop low-cost variants and provide better pricing options to consumers. It is also suggested to the company bring more awareness which can gain from the ordinal utilization of promotional tools. This can help in grabbing the market share.

Hypothesis:

Null  Hypotheses:  There is no difference between Consumer preference & Pricing offers provided by Vanish Powder.

Alternative Hypotheses:  There is a difference between consumer preference and Pricing offers provided by Vanish Washing Powder.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:

  • To study the consumer preference towards Vanish washing powder
  • To understand the pricing strategies of Vanish washing powder.
  • To know the factors that influence buying Vanish washing powder
  • To come out with suitable measures that help in improving Brand loyalty and satisfaction towards Vanish washing powder

 SCOPE OF THE STUDY:

The scope of this study is to find out the student’s preferences and opinions regarding the pricing of Vanish Powder. The present study will keep the companies informed about the  Buying Behaviour towards Vanish Powder and try to come up with solutions to the problems faced during purchasing and post-purchasing of Vanish Washing Powder. The main aim of this study is to measure the usage of Vanish Powder in Hyderabad city and the  Consumer’s choice of choosing a brand based on quality and benefits.  

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Sampling Procedure:

 The Sampling Procedure used is Area Sampling.

Sampling Unit:

All the users of Vanish washing powder form part of the Sampling units.

Sampling Frame:

The population for the study consists of consumers buying Vanish washing powder.

Sampling Size:

The Sample Size is limited to 100 respondents.

 DATA COLLECTION:

  1. Primary Data:

The primary data was used collected by Conducting a Survey about the Vanish washing powder with the help of a well-designed Questionnaire.

  1. Secondary Data:

The data was used collected from the various website of Vanish washing powder, company literature, Journals on Marketing, and Business newspapers.

DATA ANALYSIS:

The Data analysis was used by using various tools such as cross-tables, Charts, Graphs, Percentages, etc.

 LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY:

  • The Study is limited to vanish Washing Powder only.

Simple 2D Graph Plotting C++ Mini Project Source Code & Report

Simple 2D Graph Plotting Abstract

Simple 2D graph plotting is a mini-project implemented on C++ platform to plot two dimensional graphs. The main module used in the program is ‘graphics.h’ which includes various predefined functions to achieve drawing lines, circles, and mouse applications.

We can include two separate graph plot data in a single plot data object. We can also initialize the plot data objects with the range of the graph to be viewed. While calling the plot() function we also have an option to give different colors to different graphs. The axes are automatically constrained to the range of the graph. But some functions will also be provided to extend the axes span.

Motivation

Mathematics is a common subject that we keep learning right from our kindergarten till higher studies which includes many equations which can be represented graphically. The graphs of the equations are used to analyze and solve the equations. The main idea behind the Simple 2D graph plotting application had taken birth when we ourselves had faced the problem to draw the graphs of any given mathematical equations to solve them. So we have designed an application that takes the mathematical equation as input and displays the graph in Cartesian plane.

Objective of the Project

The main Objective while implementing this Simple 2D graph plotting application was to simplify drawing graphs of any mathematical equations and thereby the analysis of those mathematical equations is made easy by judging their respective graphs.

Tools

This Simple 2D graph plotting application has been totally developed on the C++ platform by using ‘graphics.h’ exclusively for the implementation of Graphical User Interface. The IDE we used was      Dev C++. The application can be run on any computer with basic specifications.

Conclusion

Using this Simple 2D graph plotting application will make life very simple for students who study Mathematics mainly for higher studies of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Various concepts and phenomena in Physics and Chemistry are explained mathematically and represented graphically. In each and every such concept or phenomenon this application is useful which displays the graph by taking the mathematical equation as input.

The main Objective while implementing this Simple 2D graph plotting application was to simplify drawing graphs of any mathematical equations and there by the analysis of those mathematical equations is made easy by judging their respective graphs. We designed the program in such a way that it perfectly matched our objectives.

Future Scope

The next version of this Simple 2D graph plotting application will have many more features like :

  • Two different graphs can be drawn and compared at a time.
  • The front end of the application can be designed in a web page.
  • The application can be made usable online.
  • The application can be released in Android version.
