Implementation of AES ENCRYPTION in HDL MATLAB Project ABSTRACT: Among the various Cryptography algorithms available, Rijndael algorithm was chosen as

the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) because of its ease of implementation and high performance. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm specifies the Rijndaelalgorithm, a symmetric block cipher that can process data blocks of 128 bits, using cipher keys with lengths of 128, 192, and 256 bits.

For the AES algorithm, the number of rounds to be performed during the execution of the

Algorithm is dependent on the key size.

The total design and algorithm of ADS is implemented in HDL, using Xilinx’s software and simulated by ISE tool, Synthesze by XST tool.
