Touch Screen Based Advanced Home Automation System For Next Generation Apartments Project

The aim of Touch Screen Based Advanced Home Automation System For Next Generation Apartments project is to design and construction of a module to control the home appliances  through touch screen.The project was divided into three phases. The First phase is to demonstrate the application of touch screen home automation. The second phase of the project attempts controlling and display data on Graphic lcd and the third phase of the project is to control the appliances to the applications.A typical graphics LCD system is shown in Figure 1. The system consists of a microcontroller, a LCD controller (digital-control logic, optional graphic accelerator, image buffer, gate driver), and a LCD glass.

 In current project a system is designed to control the home appliances on the touch screen and graphics. This project demonstrates how touch screen can be easily interfaced to real world to control operation of complex systems like home automation.Below image shows the block diagram.

FPRS Based School Management System (Abstract)

The main objective of this FPRS Based School Management System project is to develop an embedded system, which will record the time and attendance of a student in a school or college using finger print recognition.

          Whenever the students enters the school he puts his finger on the embedded system, then the embedded system will recognize the student by comparing his details with the stored data, it will register time of entry and attendance using the internal RTC of an LPC2148 microcontroller.

The system can work standalone and can also be integrated to a computer using RS-232 port. The complete code for the embedded system is going to be developed using C-Language. 

The main advantage of this project is more secure and it can avoids unauthorized members entry inside school,college or university gate.

Design and Development of FPRS, ZIGBEE Based Passport Verification Abstract

 By using this Design and Development of FPRS, ZIGBEE Based Passport Verification technique the details of the person will be stored and recognized by the fingerprint reorganization system and information will be stored in the microcontroller’s memory. Person details will be checked by using FPRS module and information will be displayed on the LCD and sends to the immigration room through Zigbee based wireless technology.

FPRS Based Visitor Control For Secure Areas (Abstract)

This Project “Design and development of FPRS based visitor control for secured areas” is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of counting number of visitors very accurately and control the visitors

The main objective of this Final Year Project Report is to develop an access control system which will authenticate the users using FPRS and users can access using the embedded system. It can be useful in book tracking in libraries, employ time, attendance and access control, product tracking in product assembly.

 In this Embedded System Project we are going to develop embedded system which will authenticate the users using FPRS, so that the unauthenticated users can be avoided. Every user’s finger prints stored in the memory. When the user comes to secured areas like Atomic/ defence Establishments, he can put the finger on reader to access the particular place, FPRS reader will detect the user automatically, it will give the access. . When any visitor visits the counter is incremented by one and if the count exceeds the maximum value the Buzzer rings. The total number of interruptions is also displayed on the LCD. This will completely automate the access control process.

This Project can be used in defense & Atomic space Establishments, The main advantage & best feature of this project is more secure and allows only selected people into the prohibited premises.

Line Follower Robot embedded Project

Line Follow Robot project is developed using a 8 bit micro controller named AT89C52.  This robots path is followed using path of black and white line. Black line is drawn on white surface and white line is drawn under black surface.

This application uses infra red rays for wireless communication. Based on white and black light systems infra red system will take send signals. If light is fallen of black surface light will be reflected else it will not. Decision making is maintained by micro controller and the entire system will be under control of micro controller.

The micro controller used in this project contains 40 pins. Based on the signals that are generated from infra red rays movement of motors are controlled.

High speed material Transferring Robot Through Remote projects main idea is to develop a robotic application which can look of the works where humans cannot take the challenge. This applications are mostly used in military, space fields.

For a robot it is obviously important that it can operate from batteries. Since the micro controller runs with 5V the motors also must work with 3-5V. Maintaining size of the project is important so we need to be look after that.

Design And Development Of FPRS, RFID Based Petro Card System (Abstract)

Design And Development Of FPRS, RFID Based Petro Card System using of Finger print based bio metric systems also increasing the secure areas.

In this RFID Based Petro Card System project, RFID cards are used as prepaid petro cards , Finger prints are used to check for the authorized person(use full for avoiding misusing by others when the card is lost) . Using this technique each card’s number is assigned with certain amount of money depending upon prepaid money in the microcontroller’s memory.

In the petrol bunks, the customer can use card he can pay the bill from the pre paid card. He put the card at the RFID Reader and need to show finger print at finger print module, then user enters the how much amount petrol getting in to vehicle through the keypad in litters. Then the embedded system reduces the amount from the card and shows balance on the LCD display.

This Embedded System Project can be used at petrol bunks & Avoids carrying money every time.

Compact Zig bee Hand Held Unit For Robot Control project is developed by using Zig Bee protocol . This protocol is a free open source protocol which can be downloaded and used for developing this type of applications. This protocol is a low cost protocol with low power wireless sensor network. This protocol will provide reliable delivery of data between remote sensors. This application works at ISM 2.4 GHZ frequency.

We can use this process to visually control the robot direction even though we are far away by connecting a camera in front of the robot.

Design and Development of Fire Detection Flying Machine in Deep Forest Abstract

This project “Design and development of fire detection FLYING Machine in deep forest” will be used for the detecting the fire in specified area in the forest by moving the robot to the different locations. Sensing of the fire will be done by moving the flying robot into the forest which is attached with fire sensor. And controlling of this flying robot will be by using the PC through zigbee based wireless communication protocol.

Bridge Follower Robot Embedded Project

Aim: To build a BRIDGE FOLLOWER ROBOT System that can track a pre laid path.

Description:The system comprises of the following hardware:  AT89C51 micro controller is used in this project which is main heart of the project. Micro controller used in the project is 8 bit micro controller which was manufactured by ATMEL. C language is used for programming inside micro controller. Two sensors are used for sensing which are placed on opposite sides of the system. Steppers motors are used for movement of the robot when motor movies forward system will move backward. A differential is usually employed in cars, jeeps, trucks and buses. The differential is usually found compiled to the rear wheels. 

Principle of differential:

 when making a turn the wheel that lies in the direction of turn moves less compared to the outer wheel.

Since Robotic Platform is equipped with two motors for the drive, controlling the motors, i.e. when making a right turn, the right wheel can be stopped i.e. power to the stepper motor is switched off.

The tape detector circuitry consists of two IR integrated detection. The detector houses the emitter as well as detector. The detectors are positioned accurately either side of the tape.  They are placed such that they are just out of the tape.
