Object Detecting And Following Robo Project deals with object sensing and Following Robot is based on 8 bit Microcontroller. Path of the robot will be on the line we draw on the floor. Here we are using proximity sensor for detect the objects. Internally it consists of IR sensors. The infrared sensors are used to sense the object. When the infrared signal sense the object then the robo follows the object. This project is implemented using a 8 bit micro controller.

 In this system infra red signals are used to transmit information to micro controller. Micro controller will receive signals from sensors and drives the motor. In this application two stepping motors are used.

Distance Education System A C# Project

The project Distance Education (Learning) System is a web-based application, which deals exclusively with the online training programs for the employees of the company. It basically list-outs the available courses and time in which courses has to be completed.  It even eases the task of the company to review the courses and the training done by the employees. The company can assess the performance of each employee by the online exam conducted for the course.

   Only the employee of the company can access the system. The registered employee is provided with the online study material covering that particular course along with the corresponding question bank. 

In our system, employees are given the flexibility to change the password and can write any type of test (level test, entry test, final test) for 3 times. If the employee is unable to complete the training with in the stipulated time, then they can request the administrator to increase the training time period. The employees can even directly write the entry test for any level. They can view the study material of the completed levels of the registered course.

Current System

The training Department of the company administers training functions and is headed by the Administrator (Training). The training is organized based on a training directive issued by the management. The administrator of the training is based on diverse media of delivery. Whereas the classroom based, instructor – led programs form the principal module of delivery. The company is also interested in promoting and developing self-learning based on distance education concept. The company has, for this purpose acquired a library of  Books which are maintained on server for this purpose.

The whole process is now manually controlled. This requires intervention by the training staff at frequent intervals. It is proposed to automate this function together with the management of training function.

Proposed System

The study material available online can be in the form of documents on a server machine which can be accessed simultaneously by many users. All the permanent employees should be able to access all kinds of study material irrespective of the employee’s designation or field of expertise. No person other than the employee of the company should be able to gain access to the system.

The employee logs in to the system and selects the subject of interest. Depending on the course selected the employee is allotted a fixed amount of time during which he/she is proposed to complete the self – paced training. Once the allotted time has elapsed, the employee is not allowed to access the training program. The employee may request the Training Administrator to extend the time period for the training.

Design and development of Highly secured conference Hall Project.

As using of mobile phones in the conference halls, meetings are restricted some times. So providing the security in such areas like finding of the mobile phone usage and detecting the fire using of fire alarm will be more useful.  So this project “Design and development of highly secured conference Hall in confidential meetings by using graphical LCD” will give low cost implementation with more security. And this project will also uses the graphical LCD display which is more advantage than the normal 2×16 character LCD. By using this Graphical LCD we can also display the images. This kind of Graphical LCD will be useful in the GPS receivers, mobile phones etc.

Wireless Electrical Appliances Control System Using IR Communication projects main idea is to develop a wireless remote application which can handle home appliances like washing machine …etc. This application can be mostly useful in industries, hospitals.  This system uses works on Infra red radiation as wireless system.

TV remote is used for IR radiation transmitter to control appliances. TSOP receiver is used in this application. This projects works on two micro controllers, one micro controller is used as master and other works as slave.

Receiver will send signals to master micro controller and Infra red signals are send to slave micro controller which will send information to LCD display.

Master micro controller will handle load using a driving circuit. On or Off of the system will be controlled by the stepper motor. On and Off will depend on the direction motor will rotate.

The project work designed with two microcontroller units is a unique one; it can be used for many applications. The main advantage of using this system is to maintain the privacy, so that un-authorized persons can not operate any electrical gadget or any iron safe (which is equipped with this system) unless they know the password. The new technology implemented in the system is, that the lock can be opened or closed automatically through remote. 

The data transmitting card contains a small keyboard (which is interfaced with microcontroller) generates code, a six digit code corresponding program is prepared for microcontroller, since the program is pre-defined, pass word can not be changed. The data delivered from the controller is modulated with 38 KHz frequency produced by the timer IC, and it is transmitted via infrared LED. The controller accepts all the keys data and transmits as it is. In the receiver this data is decoded with another microcontroller, the data received through 38KHz demodulator is fed to microcontroller, the received data is compared with pre- defined program, if the data is correct then the controller energizes the relay, other wise energizes the alarm,  which indicates that it received wrong code. TSOP 1738 is used as demodulator, this is a miniaturized receiver generally used for remote controlled systems, and the output of this device can be fed to controller directly for decoding.

INTRODUCTION: As it is easily imaginable, we all would like to have no errors when transmitting data over the Internet or any other media, but defects in materials, interferences and other sources can Corrupt the data, so we have to provide the communication with ways of detecting and if possible correcting those errors. It could be highly desirable to be able to check this in an ccurate and fast way, and therefore many different strategies have been developed in the early years, but almost all were based in performing some kind of mathematical operation over the bits we are transmitting.  In this way, the so-called CRC was rapidly widespread as a good way of checking errors. A mathematical operation is performed over the data that is going to be sent, and the result is appended at the end of the data, thus resulting the packet that will actually be sent. At the far end of the channel, the same operation is made. If the result is the one expected then there have not been problems. Else, the data is corrupted and something will have to be made (this “something” is out of the scope of the CRC generator; it is usually an issue corresponding to the upper layers of the communication protocol). 

There are various methods available for serial (example USB) and parallel (example PCI bus) communication protocols.  With this motivation I would like to study various serial and parallel communications protocols needs for CRC and would like the implement the same.

Construction of Touch Screen Based Portable Digital Clock

For any application in the industries there are many parameters to be handled. In Construction Of Touch Screen Based Portable Digital Clock project we are concentrating RTC (Real Time Clock).RTC sends the time and date information to the microcontroller continuously. The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the Graphic LCD to display.

We are using DS1307 which is a Real Time Clock. Micro Controller is used to read the values from DS 1307. DS1307 is interfaced to the Microcontroller to display the date and time. TOUCHSCREEN with GRAPHIC LCD used to edit and display the date and time values according to our requirement.

Touch Screen Operated Liquid Dispensing System

Touch Screen Operated Liquid Dispensing System application need to handle different parameters that to be handled. This projects uses temperature sensors. Sensors are located at different points to sense temperature variations. Micro controller will handle information from sensors for further processing. Graphic LCD display is used for displaying messages.

In this process as we have to reach our requirement we assign a certain Set-Points for the sensor to monitor the temperature (Ex; Temperature-39 degrees). Based on temperature variations motor operations will set on or off.If the value from the sensor gets below the Set point, the microcontroller drives the heater ‘ON’ and starts the heating to reach the set point.  This is a cyclic process. Touch screen is used to set the Set-Points for the sensor to monitor.

A typical graphics LCD system is shown in Figure 1. The system consists of a microcontroller, a LCD controller (digital-control logic, optional graphic accelerator, image buffer, gate driver), and a LCD glass.

Touch Screen Based Nurse/Attendant Calling System For Physically Impaired

The aim of Touch Screen Based Nurse/Attendant Calling System For Physically Impaired project is to design and construction of a module used for patient who are unable to move . it  control the buzzer/light indication by a simple touch   through touch screen.    The project was divided into three phases. The First phase is to demonstrate the application of touch screen. The second phase of the project attempts controlling and display data on Graphic lcd and the third phase of the project is to control the devices(buzzer/lamp). 

A typical graphics LCD system is shown in Figure 1. The system consists of a microcontroller, a LCD controller (digital-control logic, optional graphic accelerator, image buffer, gate driver), and a LCD glass.
