An Activity Directory Domain Controller For the Domain Seminar Topic

In order to store data in Microsoft based systems and servers data structures are used which are called as an activity directory which deals with storing information of networks and domains, even authenticates the requests and data stores in it.

The directory is designed to handle large number of operations like read and write and also handles a small of operations like updates, modify etc .It is primarily used for online information and was created in the year 1996 but is first used with windows 2000.

Active directory provides single point of management for windows based user account client’s servers and applications .The management of printers, computers, users, objects, groups, various applications etc can be done easily in a smooth fashion from a single secured centralized location.

The special feature of ADS is security  .when a user logs into a computer which is a part of windows domain the ADS check whether the password entered by the user and determines whether the user is normal user or system administrator. All the authorized users can access active directory and its objects from any part of the network.

The security of active directory network is based on log on access, authentication and access control to data and objects kept in the directory. By using simple network authentication tool network administrator is able to handle entire network.

A special feature called single-on security mechanism is provided for users , this  features of ADS avoid the overburden of using multiple passwords for accessing different applications and services. Instead a single global security and configuration settings are maintained.

ADS is hierarchical structure and is broken down into three main categories like resources, services for end users like web servers and objects which are main functions of domain and network. The resources generally includes hardware such as printers, speakers etc. The directories can be viewed at any of the three levels; these levels include trees, forests and domains.

DOMAINS: The objects are grouped into domains and are stored in single database. These domains are identified by their DNS name structure called namespace.

TREE: A tree is a collection of one or more domains and domain trees in contiguous namespace.

FOREST: A forest is a collection of trees that share a common catalog, logical structure and directory configurations.

For example in large organization that has many users and processes, the entire network of end users and specific computers at a set location forms a forest while the directories within the forest are called as trees. These trees hold the information about the objects such as domain controllers, program data and system data

Active directories support easy deployment, management and increased security. It is a new support for renaming DNS names with forest names. This provides a greater support for companies that merge or restructured.

Computerized Paper Evolution Using Neural Network Seminar Report

Introduction to   Computerized Paper Evolution Using Neural Network Seminar Topic:

The traditional evaluation system involves students writing the answers for the questions given in the question paper. These questions are usually given by concerned lectures belonging to their  group  or  to that subject .The evaluator uses key paper to correct the answer sheets written by the students. But this traditional evaluation gets affected certain factors like presentation of the answers, partiality towards pet students etc.

Even the evaluator may not allocate right amount of time as the number of papers to correct are more in number. And a very little freedom is given to the students to express their ideas  .However this  type of evaluation consumes much time to evaluate the answers .The risk in the  traditionally evaluation system are overcome  in the computerized paper evolution system project.

The project is completely based on the adaptive real time learning through computers .The students answers  the questions  asked by the computer in a restricted manner and the answers are evaluated instantaneously. The computer  is  connected to a server called knowledge server which is in turn connected to other authenticated servers that contain valid information of various subjects required for the evaluating the  answers.

The computer paper evaluation system provides a strong platform for the effective distant education programs, competitive exams, the student also gets a chance to express his views without any restrictions etc. There is no doubt that the computer based evaluation is going make a remarkably change in the current educational system.

Application of ANN on Microwave Engineering Technical Paper Presentation Topic for ece

Introduction to Application of ANN on Microwave Engineering:

ANN is an extensively used for pattern recognition, speech recognition, and for simulation of complex process. It is being used in different application of microwave engineering.  They are neuroscience inspired for computational tools. It is used when problems are poorly understood, difficult to carry out operation, or to solve complex problem, particular with non-linear systems.

Neural model consist of three layers: output lines, hidden layer, input lines.

Smart antenna modeling: it is a system that is array combined with signals both in air and space. These systems use technique to improve the quality of received signal ad increase the capacity of signal.

There are three main steps; first step is initialization and selection. In these step neurons sensors are distributed for supplying areas. Then random neuron is selected and supplied. If neurons are not supplied then power in increased and if they are supplied then power will decrease. Second step is adaptation: it receive energy from current system, check its transmitting station. Now after their displacement their current position is right then they are forwarded. Third step is optimization; energy if current system is checked, then it is matched with 0, if it less than 0 they are carried forward otherwise they are send to select a random number, then we find the probability of that number, check it again with number, if that condition is true then we got reduction in temperature.

Future application: they will be used in fractals antennas/arrays and for increasing the efficiency for solving the various algorithms of antenna like MoM, FDTD, and FEM etc.

Conclusion: they minimize the human effort for solving complex problem, and the use of ANN will be major factor for solving huge amount of data, where decision making is critical and their environment is complex.

Artificial Intelligence PPT Presentation

Artificial Intelligence Notes:

Intelligent computer must have, good speed, and display only useful data. Algorithm used split large task into subtask.  Computers also have capability of understanding problems and to solve them. Artificial intelligence is used to for maintain machine behavior to solve complex problems.

Let’s take an example of three missionaries and three cannibals.  They come to river and finds a boat which if cannibals outcome the missionaries then missionaries will be eaten. Now the problem arises how they cross. Then problem was solved by intelligent algorithm.

Knowledge representation technique: declarative sentence may be negation, implication, and disjunction. Semantics is also important feature; it means what a sentence means. It can be either true of false. Example, either I go to movie or I go swimming.

Frames:  it is a node with structure that provides relationship between objects and properties of object call a slot and filler.

Non- monotonic reasoning: it means true facts that decrease and changes with time. This system is more effective in many problems solving situations. Suppose if x is not known then we conclude y. e.g. to build the program, that generates solution for simple program. It used when there is presence of incomplete information for reasoning.  It generates complete solution for partial solution.

Artificial Intelligence Applications

Applications: mostly used in robotics, pattern formation or recognition, gaming, mechanical automatic machines. These are basic uses of artificial intelligence.

It is an ability of computer to decision of own.  For example if we touch someone what response will come from him and what we too feel, will have on both person. Itmeans the kind of knowledge from one human being to other human being in another language alone in fact so communicable.

Transition to an Electric Market Technical Seminar Topics for CSE 2012

Introduction to Transition to an Electric Market Technical Seminar Topic:

Many governments have decided to improve their work quality to meet their customer requirements. They also want to want include variety of features and to enhance the efficiency of their state owned enterprises. For transmission purpose they require to build new fundamentals, reconstruct again, and to put new proposals for the developing countries.

Competitive generators are those who generate power, after that they transmit to the next level, this level in centralizes level, they take decisions. Then power are transmitted to the distributors, it will distribute the powers to whole country.

Thailand’s EGAT: – EGAT is responsible for generation and transmission of electricity to whole country. They sell their bulk to two distribution industries like Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) and Provincial electricity Authority (PEA).

EGATS have expanded their mission to make available electricity to rural areas also, by increasing their power generation capabilities, transmission, and accelerate supply.

EGAT generate about 85% of power of their installed capacity.  Their transmission is interconnected within the country and they are divided into 5 regional service grid. At stage 1, they work as primary purchase power. At second stage they work as a central supplier of power and at third stage they work as competitor for a whole sale market.

They are basically divided in three modules, first investors- they provide finance, they build lines, second host, they are workers or government who works on project and at last third party are insurance companies and commercial banks.

Conclusion: paper proposes the development of national transmission, when the transmission of electricity to a market in Asian countries. Paper does not purpose a model it emphasizes that the model is suitable for developing the Asian countries.

Pattern Recognition and Clustering Techniques Technical Seminar Topics for It Latest

Introduction to Pattern Recognition and Clustering Techniques Technical Seminar Topic:

A pattern is a sequential arrangement. It is identified by the order of elements made by intrinsic nature of elements. The process of analyzing, discovering and understanding patterns that are related to the image called as image identification of analysis.

Arrangement of descriptors is known as pattern. It is a class of a family that share common properties. They are represented by w1, w2, w3,w4…..wm. Where m is the numbers of classes. Pattern is a structural description of an object.

Neural network: it consists of background and training pattern. They are the perception of two pattern classes. It has an activation function that looks for fixed increment of correction rule. This is also known as perception theorem.

K-means algorithms: This algorithm converges. It is used because many times user assigns value before using starting process. It is important that two different initial partition results into same clustering. It cannot be used in non-convex or elongated clusters.

Hierarchical clustering technique: they are generally of two types: agglomerative and divisive. When the numbers of clusters used are same to number of points then two clusters merged to result in to one cluster. Then it is called agglomerative. When the number of cluster is used is one and at every stage it is divided into two clusters and at last stage it results into n clusters.

K-means is an example of non-hierarchical technique. In case number of clusters is known to us and we stop the technique then the number of clusters obtain as desired number, and if they are unknown then we have to find the number of clusters in some other way after complete formation.

Contingency Analysis in Power Systems PPT

Introduction to Contingency Analysis in Power Systems:

For evaluation, providing and prioritizes on electric power system an simulator is used. Power flow method of an AC is very expensive, have computational problem, and the time consumed is very much. To model the effects and to simulate the effects of removing equipment from the power system we used CA network parameters. They also determine contingency analysis.

DC power flow method: in this n-1 is the number rest all the resistance are neglected.

Line resistance is neglectedso    =        Y ij= Gij + jBij = jBij

Ddpq = = – (K0)-1 (dpsDK p+ dpsDKq)

Z matrix method: in this method Y bus matrix is inverted and injected into the current bus. For converting MVA loads to impedance following formula is used:

Post contingency equilibrium:  for computing the equilibrium condition immediately following methods are used: first analysis of integration is done then simultaneous iteration id done and at last partition function.

Conclusion:  these methods are isolated and interconnected. They use online support decision tool, and faster methods locating potential trouble spots.

Technical Seminar on Video Streaming Over Internet

Introduction to Video Streaming Over Internet:

When a video request is asked by the user from webpage that contain video, then it should be transferred to him, or he must be able to see the video. This comprises two points, standard of the video compressed and internet transport protocol.

Compression of video done in mainly four 4 types: h.261, h.263, MJPEG and MPEG.

MJPEG standard: for this type of compression jpeg is used for image compression. It also works on photographs, naturalistic or artwork.

MPEG standard: it is used to compress both video and image. They are also in three standards: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-3.

Internet transport protocol:  they consist of 6 parts: TCP, RTSP, UDP, RTP, VDP, and RSVP.

TCP transmission protocol: TCP is generally used for reliable document transfer. This is secure. If in case packets are deleted or destroyed then transmission will be stopped until the original document is received again.

UDP user datagram protocol: this feature is used by real player, stream works and VDO live. UDP checks the TCP connection for error and it drops the packet if they are late or destroyed or damaged.  When it occurs you can see a dropout and you will be able to hear the dropout, but the stream will not stop.

Compression technique: basically there are two compression techniques widely used.

–          MPEG compression

–          Wavelet compression

Stream works is the product that uses MPEG compression and VDO live is the product that uses wavelet compression.

Conclusion:  today generation like to stream video from internet instead of downloading. It is kept on attracting its new customers or participants. Stream is very easy way to watch video without any problem.   This has great characteristics in commercial products.

Technical Seminar Topic on Parallel System Database

what is parallel system in database

It is a database system based on parallel systems which consist of many memories and processors and they are connected by network cabinet.  It likely to exploit modern software oriented for data management. Conventional DBMS has a problem of high disk access time. They are very large data bases that cannot be used by single systems. To cope with problem we use parallel data base systems that store huge databases.

Advantages Parallel Database System

Advantages: query parallelism is increased and the response time is decreased. It is highly available because it uses data replication and extensibility of data.

Sharing:

–          Memory:very simple and load is balanced, but cost is high and less available.

–          Disk: low cost, load is balanced, easily available, complexity is higher, and have coherence problem.

–          Nothing: then availability will be easy and less cost, problem will be complex, if new nodes are added then they require recognizing data bases.

Database need to be spared across the system for efficient parallel I/O, this technique is known as data allocation. Partitioning of data include three techniques: round robin, hashing, range partitioning. Fragmentation is data is required to increase the system performance and minimize the response time, which will increase the efficiency of output.  But it has one problem, it lead to non-uniform partitioning.

Parallel query: when multiple queries are generated for transaction then it is inter query parallelism. Whereas intra query are of two types: inter operator: when we operate several query on several processors parallel then it is said to inter operator. If same query is executed by different processor then it is intra operator.

For parallel joining we need to select A,B and multiply A.x and B.y and then match A.x with B.y and then insert them into the C.

A Technical Seminar Topic on Parallel Approach Problems

Introduction to Parallel Approach Problems:

When different processors work try to solve a problem by working simultaneously on different problems.  They can set range from one to million. It requires correct algorithms, well programs, compilers and operating systems.  It is used because it reduces the time of computation. In parallel processing we can select our own architecture to solve any problem. This decreases the solution time enormous time. There are different methods available:

SISD (single instruction single data): it has one single processor connected to control and memory in series, with instruction and data stream.

MISD (multiple instruction single data): it has n number of processors connected to memory and every processor is connected to control unit with instruction stream.

SIMD (single instruction multiple data): it has n number of processor connected to the memory but in this case all processors are connected to single control unit.

MIMD (multiple instructions multiple data):  it has n number of processors connected to memory and every processor is connected to its own control unit. It means n number of processor is connected to n number of control unit.

Speed: this technique is basically for speed. Speed is calculated by dividing worst case algorithm with worst case running time of program. Much the speed betters the parallel algorithm.

Numerical problems are solved in different manner like matrix transposes SIMD gauss Jordon, SIMD root search, computing Eigen values.

Conclusion: it is used in real time systems that provide solution for our real life world. For many simultaneous problems, parallel is the best one. It has beaten all the technology barriers.
