Introduction to AODV Protocol:
Nowadays Adhoc networks are in search of efficient applications and protocols and for this reason many multiple Adhoc routing protocols are proposed such as AODV, DSR and DSDV. This AODV- Adhoc on demand distance vector protocol is robust in nature which is totally against the different types of topology differentiations that are degrading the entire performance of communications. AODV is having the similar characteristics of DSR as well as DSDV protocols in which the route destinations are managed by making use of route information and sequences in order to exclude the loop problems.
In the ongoing process, AODV uses the sequence numbers that belong to DSDV in order to reduce the flooding that take place in routing process resulting in increasing the quantity, scalability as well efficiency that can carry and transfer the packets in a successful manner. In order to recognize the route destination, the different types of broadcasts will send an internal request to the RREQ- route request packets.
