Utilize Distributed Power Flow Controller (DPFC) To Compensate Unbalanced 3-Phase Currents In Transmissions Systems

Distributed Power Flow Controller is an alternative device to established UPFC which has same control capability as that of UPFC. Which can be implemented with low cost and high reliability. This paper presentation will cover details about unbalanced currents in a transmission system. Converters used in this project will convert DPFC single phase which works for both active and reactive of both negative and zero unbalanced currents.

In order to control unbalanced currents in the circuit two alternate controllers are used to maintain zero and negative currents.
