This application will illustrate whether the spreading of worms can be stopped or not and it will even evaluate the results that identifies the span of uniform scanning worms. Existing System:

The trends of worms are been detected but the worm rates are remained same in the system which is leading to scan traffic within the system which can be reduced only by using the filtering of worms.

In the proposed system, the fast scan as well as slow scan worms will be identified through which the entire worms present in the system can be detected.

Main aim of this project is to develop a software application for postal department for reducing time of finding lost articles and resend it to users based on requests. In existing system manual method is used where initially each and every letter is checked by machine to find out address specified on the letter and transfer but few machine can’t understand few letters because of bad writing these letters are moved to manual department where each letter is check manually but in this case also there are few letters which are kept aside. In this cases after few days when user requests for letters postal department will take months to send back which is time taking process. In order to solve this problem we develop a software application which can provide solution in 10 days.

Users are provided with front end graphical user interface through which user can update different information related to receive post cards and lost post cards.  Users can update lost letter details, complaint status, lost letter type …etc. All these details are updated to database for further use. Initially uses need to log in to application with unique user name and password which can be modified from admin panel provided to user.

Developing this application will help students to gain knowledge on analysis, design, implementation, testing and graphical user interface.

This application consists of seven modules user and group master module, lost article master module, lost letter master module, complaint handling, complaint reconciliation, print module and help module.

In existing system users need to go to digital shops or photo studios to take print of the images they want which is a time taking process.  As the usage of internet is growing from day to day and many works are going on through online we develop a software application through which user can give online orders by uploading images from desktop.

Users are provided with front end application where users will upload images from desktop by selection required features of the print out like size of the print and image type. After uploading image system will calculate size of image and calculate amount for printing that image. Users can precede printing by paying amount through credit card or visa card and provide shipping details.

Developing this application helps students to gain knowledge on design , implementation and user interface.

Functionality provided in this application

  1. Information related to prices based on image printing sizes are maintained in database.
  2. User interface for user to select image form his computer and upload to server
  3. User interface for user to modify delete uploaded images to server and know details about sizes and printing details and move forward for payment.
  4. For providing user with total amount application should calculate entire folder content and provide to user for payment.
  5. Payment mode for user using credit card and visa card or paypal and security for user information.
  6. Server will check card details and if it is correct images are uploaded to server and con form user request and user is sent with order number for future.

Airline Reservation System Project Report In Java

 Introduction to Airline Reservation System Project:

Air travel has become less and less cheaper over the years, as a result the no: of passengers has increased considerably. Unlike a train or bus ticket where we have to stand in a queue besides a counter, air tickets are usually booked online. The proposed system is a web portal where the user can book their air travel tickets between two cities online on a particular date. There will be a provision for searching the flights for a travel destination on an input date, the search result will comprise of the full details such as flight no, flight name, cost, arrival and departure time etc. A cancellation option is also given in case user wishes to abandon his travel for various reasons.

Working Modules

There are two major modules in this web portal: Admin Module and User Module:

Admin Module:

Admin controls and manages the whole portal. Admin adds all basic master entries such as flight details, place details, route details, scheduling etc. Admin can also view user bookings and cancellation of the user.

User Module:

User can search ticket availability first by giving the departure & destination place and the date of travel in the site. Various flights operating on that day on that route will be displayed. If there is seat available on the flight, user will be directed to a booking page where user can type his details such as name, phone, address, no: of persons travelling etc. and also the credit card payment details are entered. The card is then validated and a reservation no: is generated automatically. If there is no seat available in user’s choice flight then other alternate flights will be shown to book tickets. For cancellation the user has to type the travel date, user name and the reservation no: for validation.

Changes made by both modules get effected in the user and admin databases.
