Title: Toward Broadcast Reliability in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks with Double Coverage
Study Area Review: Network security
Aims: To develop an application to evaluate the reliability in broadcasting across the Mobile Ad Hoc networks and ensuring the double coverage.
Objectives: This application has the following objectives
• To reduce the broadcast redundancy
• To develop double broadcast algorithm (DBA)
• To improve the delivery ratio while performing the broadcasting
Deliverables: This application delivers the following
• Working application that performs the double broadcast with the implementation of MANET
• Proper documentation with all the literature review about MANET and its evaluation while broadcasting
Professional Project Claim
This project emphasises design and evaluates a computer-based system using appropriate processes and tools, as follows
Netbeans to develop java standards and easy compilation process
My product will exhibit the attributes of quality, reliability, timeliness and maintainability in the following ways
• All the required standard and procedures are being followed to implement the double broadcast algorithm
• Proper standards are followed to develop the literature review and thus the quality of documentation ensured.
• Java tools like netbeans is used to meet the timelines and thus to reduce the coding risk
• Number of test cases are being developed to ensure the quality output
Research Methodology:
Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are followed as a part of research methodology. Behavioural aspects of both the MANET simulation and double broadcasting algorithm are estimated by the qualitative approach. Statistical data and transmission ratios are evaluated by the quantitative approaches.
