In this Optical data transfer between two controllers via Fiber optic communication project, the data is transmitted from a microcontroller to remote controller via fiber optic cable using RS232 communication. On transmitter side, a keypad is interfaced to enter the data. On the receiver side data will be sending to another microcontroller

For developing this project we have used Embedded ‘C’ programming language and  Keil software tool,Flash magic software tool and the target output device is LPC2148 Microcontroller.

The main application of this project is for the data communication, By using embedded system optical data transfer we can transfer huge amount of data with in less time & with high band width

Communicating Single Master with Many Slaves by Using SPI Protocol

Communicating single master with many slaves using SPI protocol project is used for communication between sensors and micro controller and personal computer for further analysis. This project can be used as base project for many other projects. The process of reading data continuously from sensors is called as data acquisition. This projects works on serial communication for communication between pc and micro controller. Micro controller will receive information from sensors which will convert from analog to digital and send data to computer. Received data can be further analyzed on P.C, information contains time stamp and data. 

 The data that is stored in the PC is easier to monitor or retrieve at any time compared to storing in a particular memory.  Many industries are using this procedure to store data on to their system.

 A sensor is usually an analog voltage and can take any value between + 10 to -10 volts. However a digital signal has only two states. “1” (ON) or “0” (OFF). Thus it is required to have additional circuitry between the digital system and analog system that translates the analog signal in to a digital signal. Such conversion can be performed by an analog to digital converter.

Wireless Access Monitoring and Control System Based On Digital Door Lock

WIRELESS ACCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM BASED ON DIGITAL DOOR LOCK  system has a Keypad or switches, Here we can submit password by using this Keypad. The entered password is same as stored password in database memory itcan send message to the user (owner). Then the perticular user sends an SMS to the embedded system then the relay will be on the door will be opened.  

Entering password by owner should be displayed on the LCD and the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) MODULE. If the sending password through the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) MODULE is also same as previous one, then the lock will be opened otherwise the lock can’t open to the perticular user.

Location-Based System for Mobile Devices Using RFID

The LOCATION-BASED SYSTEM FOR MOBILE DEVICES USING RFID project Location based system for the mobile devices using RFID using used to find out the devices or people which are moving from one floor to other floor. The current system using the cameras we can only view the persons but we don’t get the details of the persons like name and ID. And that kind of problems can be easily overcome by using this project. And the location and the details of the persons will be displayed on the GUI based on the Visual Basic based software at the PC side.

In our proposed Embedded system we are going to use RFID tag, RFID reader and zigbee modules which are connected to the ARM based microcontroller at different floors entrance gates of the building. Whenever the persons moving from one floor to another the details of the person will be displayed on the PC side VB.

Access Control System Using I-Button

ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM USING I-BUTTON project uses LCD display for displaying numbers in serial manner which can avoid chances of mistakes for setting password. Employee code is displayed on LCD screen. EPROM has been used to store the password in the default location even not to be erased in the absence of power supply. In this project we use I-Button as a key to a system for security purpose.

In present scenario security system are more important for every organization and home applications. This system will provide vital link in security chain. This system is developed to provide security system using micro controller , digital lock is a access control system which will  authorize persons to access a secured data. The system comprises of two modules where we use small electronic unit, which is fixed outside the entry door to control a lock and the LCD display to set the password. The other module contains I2C EEPROM.

Boarding School Students Monitoring Systems (E-ID) Using Radio Frequency Identification

Boarding school students monitoring systems (E-ID) using radio frequency identification DESCRIPTIONIn this system we are using the radio frequency identification reader (RFID reader) and tags should be given to each student. And the RFID reader should be connected to our personal computer. Whenever student put his RFID tag near to the RFID reader then the student Id is read by the microcontroller through the RFID reader then the microcontroller compares whether the card is authorized or not.

 In this Boarding school students monitoring system project we also develop a small front end application using visual basic. Whenever the reader reads the id then the id and time in and time out should be displayed on the PC. And the data should be recorded on the personal computer itself.  This project cannot control the punctuation of student but it can ease the workload of school management and save time.

Human Detection by Live Body Sensor

HUMAN DETECTION BY LIVE BODY SENSOR projects main idea is to develop a application which can detect human body using sensors.This application can be mostly used in health care systems.

Working procedure : When a intruder is detected PIR sensor output increases which in turn is filtered to make sure that the increased output voltage is due to the human intruder.

  • This signal is amplified and converted to TTL logic 0-5v
  • Amplifier output is connected to the microcontroller, controller detects the transition from 0-5v as the presence of the human
    • Controller then activates the  siren (PWM driven from controller)

  • System provides the provision to activate DAY-NIGHT MODE , when this logic is activated system gets automatically deactivated during the day time and activates during night.
  • System can also work on TIME MODE  where the the user can specify when the system should get activate like only after 11:00PM and deactivate at 6:00 AM this time can be set using RS232 connection with the computer.

A Multi-Agent Multi Sensor Based Real-Time Sensory Control System for Intelligent Security Robot

The multi-agent multi sensor based real-time sensory control system for intelligent security robot is a autonomous robot is an unmanned vehicle that runs in a field continuously by sensing an obstacle in its path. This obstacle sensing is possible by an infra red sensor.An embedded project is a combination of hardware and software designed to perform a specific task. The main scope of this project Sensing fire using the flame sensor and prevent the fire accidents domestically sector, safe the human resource and reduce the complexity in design. 

                 Unlike current IR transmitter and receiver based projects in which the intruder has to pass through a certain region where IR radiation from transmitter is interrupted which in turn is detected as a intruder presence, this approach has following major drawbacks. Any non living body or animals which pass through this setup will trigger the alarm which is totally undesirable (we want only human intruder to detect). It is confined to very small region i.e. you can only attach this mechanism to passage or gate or door .You cannot detect presence of intruder jumping the fence with one sensor or big open spaces like your garden etc Advantage of Human heat based home security system. Totally eliminates false alarm triggering, i.e. it detects human intruder only. It can detect presence of intruder small to large area i.e. it can detect up to  14meters with 110 degree freedom. With the help of microcontroller and GSM the system can send SMS to the preloaded number when a intruder is detected. Microcontroller will activate the alarm and lights once the intruder is detected. System is automatically disabled during the day time to avoid unnecessary alarm triggering, this feature can be enabled or disabled.

                 The moments of this robot is controlled using motors, the motor is driven with the help of driver i.e. L293D which consists of (H-bridge circuit) internally. The controller can’t drive a stepper motor which requires above 5 Volts, for that reason we required L293D driver externally.
