This product caters to all the Credit, Debit and Smart Card based functions of a bank like Registration of Customers for card issue, Opening Card Accounts for the registered customer, Creation of Cards for registered customers, Hot Carding, making the Card ready for Embossing by creation of Card Data file etc.

The Card Management System could interact with an external Card Transaction System, thereby making the Card-related information maintained by the bank, up-to-date.  

The purpose is to build a Card Management System which provides complete card processing, to meet the needs of full-fledged Credit card and Debit card based ATM or Point of Sale network.

Conclusion: 

The system is designed in order to make the existing system more effective. It allows the customer to access cash easily. The Card Management System could interact with an external Card Transaction System, thereby updating the Card-related information maintained by the bank.

The trend today is to use a card instead of cash. Each time you walk past a a store or each time you peep into the wallet of a working class employee, executive or big shot entrepreneur all you tend to see are plastic cards which have great value! 

Nowadays the usage of credit cards has dramatically increased and has become the most popular mode of payment for both online as well as regular purchases. However, it is very easy to manipulate and make wrong use of these cards. The cases of fraud associated with credit cards are rising along with its user group. 

Making cash flow simpler: 

Credit-card-based purchases can be categorized as physical card and  virtual card. In a physical-card based purchase, the cardholders presents his card physically to a merchant for making a payment, in case another user is swiping the stolen or lost card , it can lead to substantial loss to the original card holder or the credit card company. In the latter purchase, only some important information about a card (card number, expiration date, secure code) is required in order to make the payment. 

Such purchases are normally done on the Internet or over the telephone. To commit fraud in these types of purchases, fraudsters require to know the card details.  The only way to detect this kind of fraud is to analyze the spending patterns on every card and to figure out any inconsistency with respect to the “usual” spending patterns.

Conclusion: 

Here, we model the sequence of operations in credit card transaction processing using a Hidden Markov Model (HMM) and show how it can be used for the detection of frauds. An HMM is initially trained with the normal behavior of a cardholders. If an incoming credit card transaction is not accepted by the trained HMM with sufficiently high probability, it is considered to be fraudulent. At the same time, we try to ensure that genuine transactions are not rejected. We present detailed experimental results to show the effectiveness of our approach and compare it with other techniques available in the literature.

The name CAR  refers to a software package that implements the sign- on protocol. The Central Authentication Registry (CAR) is a single sign-on protocol for the web. Its purpose is to permit a user to log into multiple applications simultaneously and automatically. The name CAR also refers to a software package that implements this protocol. Companies face several problems in order to distribute the sign in parameters to every plausible person. Today’s companies have multiple applications and departments accessed by several employees. IN order to make an application accessible the employee is required, however, the sign –in parameters for each application vary and distributing these parameters to all the employees is a difficult task. 

The users face similar problems in case the employee doesn’t provide them with an appropriate sign-in or the wrong parameters to sign –in an application. These problems have been identified and the appropriate solutions have been programmed in CAR software package. 

Conclusion: 

This project should be implemented using Web Services or WCF technology only. The biggest organizations the User credentials will be centralized in a registry for the access of different applications the Authentication details will be retrieved from the registry (usually Lotus Notes Domino or Windows Active Directory) and based on Credentials the applications access role will be provided. 

The system can be accessed over the internet and makes the overall employee login access management easier and flexible. The user information can be stored in centralized registry which can be maintained by the system. This enhances the security control as the user’s information and date is stored in the server machine. Only registered users can access the particular application since authentication is provided.

The product module is used for the creation and maintenance of different products manufactured by company. The stock deposit module plays the role of assigning user ids to stock depots as well as maintaining track of stock depots. The distributor module creates and maintaining distributors and allotting them stock depot.

The order processing module aids in the generation of purchase orders and submit the order to the stock depot. The packing list module creates packing list by stock depots on the basis of orders by distributors. The invoicing module creates invoices based on packing lists which is dispatched to distributors and prepared by stock depots. The reporting and analyzing module keeps the track of the entire  process.
