Microcontroller Based Neural Network Controlled Low Cost Autonomous Vehicle Working:

The Microcontroller we are chosen here is LPC2148 ARM controller. This ARM controller consists of two RS232 ports which is able to communicate with GPS and GSM modem at a time. The operating voltage of ARM is 3.3v which will be done in power circuit block. The target location values (Longitude & Latitude) are sent as message to GSM module which is connected to the Controller. The controller will analyze the current position values of the vehicle and comp [area it to destination position value and make the motors to rotate such that it reaches the Destination. When  going to the destination if there is any obstacle  it will be observed by using IR Transmitter and Receiver and make the vehicle to rotate and move to destination position. Once the vehicle reaches the destination the Buzzer will switches on.

Prepaid Electricity Billing System Using GSM Mobile Abstract

In PREPAID ELECTRICITY BILLING SYSTEM USING GSM MOBILE project, the present billing system was eliminated completely and a new system namely prepaid billing system was introduced for embedded applications which overcomes the drawbacks in present billing system. If this system comes in our day to day life it will be useful for both the Government and the public.

The present practice of electricity billing is manual method only. With this, the total billing is a time consuming process and it requires more manpower. The collection of billing is late procedure and so many consumers may not pay in time. Disconnecting of unpaid connections is also manual. Due to all these drawbacks we cannot have proper auditing. 

Lack of awareness on power consumption and also the present energy meters displays only units, so the user cannot plan his usage of power. To avoid all these problems, we are introducing this system. 

In this system, a micro controller is interfaced with an energy metering circuit, keypad and a display, to display total units and balance amount, a contactor to make or break power line, and a buzzer indicator. At the sub-station end, a PC is connected with all energy meters using any communication channel. 

When the user pays money, he gets a recharge code. When he enters the code, the meter verifies the code with substation and on confirmation; it starts counting the no. of units and reduces the card amount relatively. On completion of amount, it disconnects the line automatically with an alarm prior to that. The consumption data, card status and line status are transmitted to substation for auditing. 

With this system, we can determine the difference between the actual power consumed and sold power easily. With this we can easily identify the tampered areas and we can avoid power thefting.

Password Protected GSM Based Device Control Abstract

Password Protected GSM Based Device Control projects main idea is to provide a new concept for handling home appliances remotely using GSM technology. MAX232 is the micro controller used for interface GSM Device which works on serial communication. Home appliances which are to be remotely controlled are first connected to interface and it will communicate with micro controller on serial communication. In order to control the devices remotely we need to send a message with set up information using GSM which will store in the program.  Micro controller will perform requested operation like switch ON or OFF device. Two way authentication is available in this application, Replay will be sent to user with the information on which device is activated and that information will be displayed on the LCD screen. This application is not restricted to single device it can work for many devices at same time.

Applications for this are Industries with heavy parameters to handle, complicated areas where we can’t monitor the conditions manually; these are Now-a-days used in all kind of industrial and commercial complexes.

GSM Controlled Intelligent Robot Abstract

GSM CONTROLLED INTELLIGENT ROBOT projects main idea is to develop a application which use GSM technology to control Robot remotely.

Control of the robotic arm has been achieved successfully by using servo motors or dc motors. The microcontrollers implement inverse kinematics algorithms and implement position control on the motors. The motors are actuated using the internal PWM channels of the microcontroller and MOSFET based power amplifiers or power transistors or driver circuits. The robotic arm also has the provision of being controlled. The end effecter is a two finger gripper. The robotic arm has a load bearing capacity of around 500gms. The device has its own in-built logic and all the movements of the device are controlled by the motors. 

The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the LCD to display. This is a cyclic process which performs till our requirement is done. Whenever the temperature exceeds the set point the controller drives the fan ‘ON’ and if the Set-Point declines it drives the Heater ‘ON’. This process is automatic which depends on the Set-Point.

For this design we use an integrated motor driver chip, called l293d. The l293d motor driver chip can drive peak loads up to 0.5A. The motors should therefore need less than 0.5A under worst conditions. 

 All the logic is implemented in the software. That means by changing the software you can change almost everything as you like.

GSM Based SCADA Implementation Using Micro Controller Abstract

Aim:

GSM Based SCADA Implementation Using Microcontroller Projects main idea is to develop a application which can handle temperature through GSM Mobile.

Description:

                    This project consists of at89s52 micro controller as a controlling device. The communication used in this project is the mobile communication. GSM (GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION) modem is connected to the micro controller through a max 232 which is a TTL level converter.

            Temperature sensor that gives the voltage in the form of temperature.  The need of lm 35 temperature sensor is that reduces the signal conditioner at its output; because it gives direct mill volts. This voltage is converted to the digital form by using mcp3201 Analog to Digital converter.

            Micro controller continuously reads the data from the temperature sensor and displays whenever the temperature exceeds the set point. And the temperature is send to the mobile through the GSM whenever we send the message to the GSM.

GSM Based Advanced Security Systems Abstract

AIM:

 The aim of GSM BASED ADVANCED SECURITY SYSTEMS project is to control the home appliances from remote locations from a central Server system.

 Description: 

The idea of having a full control over the places where we live and work has always been a fascinating subject to fantasize no matter at what age! As the technology improved in recent decades, human being gained more power on controlling various devices indoors. However, having this control remotely still remains an incomplete yet developing matter in industry. 

The Project entitled “GSM BASED ADVANCED SECURITY SYSTEMS” highlights the above mentioned issue and offers ways to overcome this need by employing two of the most widely used features of today’s technology – SMS to be applied as a bridge in between human and fully automated buildings, GSM standard which ensures perfect compatibility between networks and mobile phones in any location. 

            In this project, the system allows the home owner to monitor and control the house appliances like fan, motor, AC, light which can be switched on or off via the mobile phone set by sending commands in the form of SMS and also the home owner can receive the appliances status. 

When a message was received from the GSM then the micro controller will display that message on LCD at the end of the message a number is received based on that number the micro controller will does the coresponinding operation to that number like switching the devices ON and OFF. and the date and time of that message received is displayed on LCD display.

Patient Care System Using GSM & GPS Abstract

For any application in the hospitals there are many parameters to be handled. In PATIENT CARE SYSTEM USING GSM & GPS project we are concentrating a temperature sensor and heart beat sensor. This sensor is fixed on the patient, for our application to be performed. The Sensor gathers the values and sends the information to the microcontroller continuously. The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the LCD to display. This is a cyclic process which performs till our requirement is done. Whenever the temperature or heart beat exceeds the set point the controller reads the Location from the GPS receiver and sends the message about the temperature and hart beat and location  to the specified numbers through the GSM modem . This process is automatic which depends on the Set-Point.
