ECE Mini Project Report on IR Music Transmitter and Receiver

Introduction to IR Music Transmitter and Receiver Project:

With the eight octaves music creating infinite notes and it is really amazing and pleasing thing. Music is something unique and universal. In our daily life music become our part of life. Every day we enjoy the music at any time that may at home, occasion, parties or at office while working also. While working when we feel tiered and if we listens music it gives much relief than any other and makes us refresh to continue the day with very energetic. We find many music lovers in our day to day life, even the animals respond to the music who said to them.

Listening music is one of the arts and from clapping to slapping every well sense sound can be treated as music. To listen music we need to transfer the music and to catch it we need to receive it. Our project is to develop music transmitter and receiver with infrared rays (IR) system which generates audio musical notes and one can heard upto a distance of 10 meters.

Through infrared rays the generated melody is transmitted and is reproduce without any noise or disturbance to the remote place.

Generator, amplifier, transmitter and receiver are the parts using in this project. Generator consists of an IC UM66 which continuously generates melody music notes in the transmitter section. The generated music notes from the generator is fed to the amplifier to remove the unwanted signals and amplified music bits are sent by transmitter through IR driver as infrared beam can heard up to 10 meters distance. In this project the volume of the music can be varied that is increased or decreased by using a potentio meter. This project of IR music transmitter and receiver is well designed and effectively worked. Music lovers will enjoy this application very much.

ECE Project Report on Integrated Solar-Wind System for Generation of Electricity

Introduction to Integrated Solar-Wind System for Generation of Electricity:

Renewable energy sources are mainly wind, solar and hydro power. Geothermal energy is the thermal energy (heat) from the Earth. The temperature of matter is determined by the energy called Thermal energy. 20% of the geothermal energy of Earth’s crust is originated from the original formation of the planet and 80% from radioactive minerals.

The temperature difference between the core of the planet and its surface is called geothermal gradient which gives a continuous conduction of thermal energy from the core to the surface in the form of heat.  At the core of the Earth, the temperatures may reach more or equal to 5000 degrees Celsius that is 9,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Geothermal power is the power generated from geothermal energy. This new method of integrated solar wind system provides that how to reserve the geothermal energy and generate electricity while storing geothermal energy. The main logic using behind this application is the temperature difference of air at the various levels of atmosphere. Geothermal reserve is created during summer as the temperature or heat in atmosphere in summer is high and utilized in the winter

Since from Paleolithic times geothermal energy has been used for bathing and since from ancient Roman times geothermal energy has been used for space heating. About 10,715MW (megawatts) of geothermal power is online in 24 countries around Worldwide. Geothermal power is cost effective, reliable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly, but it is limited to areas which are only near to the tectonic plate boundaries.

Geothermal energy stored in summer and used in winter, as the energy stored or removed from the earth is reversible cycle we can also use the same system for the opposing cycle i.e., bi-directional which increases the output of the system. The mail advantages of this system are low maintenance and conservation.

Need For Wireless Communication ECE Project Report Final Year

Introduction to Need For Wireless Communication ECE Project:

In today’s world every person is communicating with the use of the remote communication devices. Now the wireless communication has made itself a very important in the minds of the people. So each and every day has become very difficult to people without the wireless communication. Transmission of the data from one medium to another is becoming very importance these days.

This information can be gained by two ways like wired communication and wireless communication. If the information is to be transferred to a long distance then the wired communication is preferred to be used and for the wireless communication it is exactly vice versa of the wired communication.

The changes done in the devices are the data transmission is now completely uni-directional so now the data can be transferred in completely two different ways. Some of the QWERTY Alphabets are also changed. The dimension of the LCD screen can also be incremented for a better and high definition view. There is a protected connection of the wired local area network. This helps the user to access internet safely. The space between the AM are now brought to 50m. Batteries are made on solar power by which the batteries can be recharged.

This architecture has given the user a great advantage about the communication with the combination of the software’s and the hardware. This device also has the capabilities to work together with the team of the developers. The wires and purely secured devices can be used to all over the world. This idea was shown because of the mini mobile phones.

This is very much controlled by the micro processors by the device and can be more updated by changing the code part of the system. This project has the very bright future development scope. The nature if the project helps the project to increase its publicity in the markets.

ECE Project Report on Speed Generator

Introduction to Speed Generator Project:

The demand of electricity is increasing enormously in these days. In order meet this requirement there is immediate action to be taken in order to produce electrical power as many ways as possible. Hence speed breaker generator comes with the intention to provide the electricity involving the simplest methods of operations and easy mechanism of converting mechanical energy to electrical energy by means of speed bumps or speed breakers.

The potential energy is taken from the object passing on the speed breaker the interior of the speed breaker is placed with an alternator, providing the mechanical stress exerted by the object as an input potential energy and the output generated power is stored in the batteries and then it utilized for the further applications including industrial and primary consumer needs at a cheapest cost.

The amount of power generation depends upon the steam of vehicles passing over the breaker, a steady and constant flow of objects over breaker can generate power within a margin of 1000-3600watts of power. Here in this paper we provide the basic concepts of power generation using speed breakers .this process gives us the most economical means of power generation with easy maintenance with utmost reliability.

The three main mechanisms are Crank-shaft mechanism, Roller mechanism, Rack- Pinion mechanism. These three mechanisms works under basic principle that” converting mechanical energy (the potential energy taken from the vehicles) into electrical output energy. In this particular paper we discuss about the various kinds of materials used, different kinds of tools and their assembly, the advantages and what are the modifications are to make in order produce higher quantity of electricity and reliable electricity using advanced technology.

Future scope:

In order to achieve higher outputs with high power efficiency the speed breaker should be designed for the heavy vehicles with an intention to provide high mechanical torque to the shaft of the generator.

ECE Mini Project Report on Laser Based Communication System

Introduction to Mini Project on Laser Based Communication System:

Recent days the communication systems are changing rapidly due to this enormous development a new revolutionary concept Laser Communication System had arrived which was gaining the human attention towards it. The basic principle of operation is amplitude modulation phenomenon. In this process the amplitude of the carrier signal is varied in accordance with the amplitude of the modulated signal. The carrier signal is nothing but the signal on which we work here it is laser beam, the modulated signal i.e. the signal which is to be modulated or the signal whose parameters are going to change, is taken as the input audio signal, and mainly the term amplitude indicates the intensity of the laser beam which we use.

Laser based communication system is an invisible connections through the air and their working resembles the fiber optics links around the atmosphere. Using this new technology we can easily transmit the signals to the surroundings as quick as possible and transmit the data within a range of 500 meters without interference as here the laser torch can transmit light up to any distance based upon amplitude of the input signal.

In this paper we proposed a simple laser based communication system having two major sections transmitter and receiver, the transmitter is coupled with the laser beam of specific intensity with the help of an common collector mode transistor, the transistor used here is LM386 audio power amplifier which acts as impedance matching device acts proportional with the intensity of the modulated signal.

Now coming to the receiver end sensors are present to sense the varying amplitude of the light beam by using photo transistors and light dependent resistors adjacent with the loud speaker the transistor used here is Silicon photo transistor. The various applications are we can communicate without cost excluding equipment cost. Finally the entire circuit and its operation are checked and the results were improved.

Adaptive Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Circuit Seminar Report

Introduction to Adaptive Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Circuit Seminar Topic:

The main problem we all face currently in the world is the over consumption of our energy resources, if we go at this rate then our future generation will have lack of supply of energy resources. Harvesting energy is a new innovative technology and this topic deals with such harvesting of electrical energy through a piezoelectric element which is excited mechanically.

The element acts similar to source which provides electrical power with only difference being that it is driven by a mechanical force and the source impedance is capacitive in nature. The mechanical force itself will be of fluctuating amplitude. An adaptive control algorithm is used in a DC-DC converter which will help it to harvest the electrical energy almost four times higher than one without it, also the rate of harvesting increases with the increase in levels of excitation.

Any vibrating structure can become the platform of usage of this technology and main reason of having this energy circuit is the controller flexibility. The only addition to this vibrating structure would be the piezoelectric element which helps in increasing the harvesting process many fan fold. No other factors and positions such as placement of device, vibration levels etc. would affect the harvesting performance or the controller operation.

Main components in this harvesting system:

  • AC-DC rectifier
  • Output capacitor
  • Electrochemical battery
  • DC-DC converter (switch mode)

Optimized designs can be developed based on the control algorithm and the proposed excitation levels or load which forms its power. The main part of this technology is the proposal of the energy harvest where we can achieve the power flow gets optimized. Standalone circuit control will be used for future designing work. The power stored in the battery is maximized with the help of implementing optimal power transfer theory. Overall this technology is definitely going to revolutionize the energy harvesting process.

8085 Microprocessor Seminar Report for ECE Students

Introduction to 8085 Microprocessor Seminar Topic:

They are the microprocessor developed by Intel Corporation. 8085 is the 8 bit microprocessor that used +5V DC supply for its working. They are very old processor used around 1975s. it comprises of three parts. Every part has beeb assigned its work. First is arithmetic and logic unit, it performs all the calculations like addition, subtraction, AND operation, OR operations etc. Second is control unit, it sets the instruction timing, it control the timing of input and output operations, means it controls the entire operations of the microprocessor. Third is registers, they are used to store the information for temporary time.

8085 have various registers sets that have their own functions. There is special register called accumulator. All results are first stored in the accumulator then it can be moved to other registers like B, D, H, E, and L. They are the general purpose registers.

There is flag register that is used to set the sign according to the operation like Zero, carry, auxiliary, Sign and parity. Another register is program counter that maintains the sequence of operations. Last register is stack pointer that is used to store the instruction in the memory.

8085 have 40 pins and all have their own working. 8085 have different buses that are used to carry information and data. Address bus is used to carry the respective address of the data.

They are unidirectional. Address/data bus is used to carry address and data both. They are bidirectional in nature. If the signal is high then it will act as data bus otherwise act as an address bus. Control bus is used for controlling the operation of the microprocessors. They are not completely unidirectional and not completely bi-directional. They work on 10 control lines.

Mini Project Report on Dtmf Based Mobile Phone Controlled Robot

Introduction to Mini Project on Dtmf Based Mobile Phone Controlled Robot:

We use embedded systems in our daily, we are dependent on them. They provide us digital information’s. Almost all the processors that are developed are based on the embedded systems. They are multipurpose systems designed for the systems like computers, electronic devices.

Every embedded system is based on the microprocessor. It has ROM is used to store the software of the microprocessor. Or we can say that embedded system is a system in which we directly process our code in to the hardware and the software used is just for support and to provide flexibility.

An embedded system contains many memory chips which are used to load the software. In these systems contains three parts hardware, operating systems and application software example PC.

They are used in the control systems. Also used in the robotics, embedded PCs, signal processing, network equipment’s etc. there are four types of embedded systems used like stand alone for microwaves, digital cameras etc., real time for missiles or DVD players etc. , network based for webcam etc. and mobile devices.

Microcontroller:it is a device that is implemented in the microprocessor that is used to control the functions of the processors. They don’t calculate results but they control the different part of the microprocessors. It also provides delay to some parts for proper functioning of the systems.

They have series of registers that are used to store information and interrupts that are used to provide delays.

They also have data memory like ROM and RAM. They have special type registers like timer registers, dual data registers and interrupt registers. They use only +5v of the power supply for their working. They are used for controlling and monitoring the systems. They use less power and give high performance.

ECE Project Report on Security System Using RFID

Introduction to Security System Using RFID:

In general for each and every organization, industry, home and a person need security. It is most important common need. Security is mainly used in organizations. For this purpose, in olden days security guard was used next token numbers and next passwords. Now a day tags with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology has been using. But it is not more secure because one of the person tags is used by other one without his/her permission. It is more danger. To avoid these types of danger situations we should provide a new technology, which is “BIOMETRIC SYSTEM” with existed RFID system.

The main objective of our project is providing a security to individuals having only one identification. For this purpose biometric system is used. We have to use hardware equipments are RFID Reader, RFID Tag, Camera, GSM, Zig bee, Microcontroller, power supply, RS-232, antenna, PC and mobile.

RFID tag system has taken more time to identification, not secure, cost effective and need a person. But our proposed system is not require a person and don’t have these disadvantages. It has multiple advantages so it is also called as multi-level security system. It is used for each and every room, which are in the organization.

Fingerprint (thumb) biometric system is used in this proposed system because each person has different fingerprints so individual identification is provided. All these equipments are under the control of microcontroller. For every entry and exit SMS will send to the management. Zigbee is a wireless mesh communication within the organization. It has a range of 10m and operated at 2.4GHZ. Transmitter module keeps at rooms and receiver module keeps at management room. So security is more no chance to done mistakes. Finally conclude that it is the best technology for security purpose. It is easy to maintain user has a bright future and low cost more reliable. It is also used for vehicle security.
