Ultrasonic based parking guidance system embedded system projects main idea is to provide alternative method for parking system.

Abstract:

Parking a vehicle is one of the biggest task in a congestion area and especially when you are reversing back your vehicle u couldn’t guess the exact distance you are moving and how much distance is the vehicle from you. This Project is used to avoid all the above convictions by using ultrasonic sensor. This ultrasonic sensor is used to read the distance and display it on your dash board. When your vehicle is moving back the exact distance between your vehicle and the object is shown in LCD and if the distance is reducing to a certain limit a warning is raised by making sound. This helps parking your car with more safely.

Working Principle:

When your car starts moving back to park your vehicle the ultrasonic sensor module is get on and it starts reading the data and sends the data to micro-controller through UART .In micro-controller the data received is compared with the data stored in micro-controller ,If the value reduces below certain limit a buzzer is on,the readings are shown on LCD.

Tracking Police Man Using RF Proximity Card

Tracking police man using RF proximity card embedded system project explains about new method for bank officials for checking their security of the bank by implementing accurate method to control police officials. In present scenario banks are playing important role in providing security for people for saving their money, gold..Etc. So banks are taking serious steps to maintain security like hiring police officials at night time for patrolling banks, but there are chances in irregularity of police officials so this method will provide card system for every police official who should scratch his card. Data and time is stored inside system which can connect to computer and analyze details of his attendance.TRACKING-POLICE-MAN-USING-RF-PROXIMITY-CARD   Functionality RTC is providing the clock with date and time, and this date and time is displaying in LCD. When the police man swipe the card, RF reader will read the card and decode the card value. Decoded card value is send to microcontroller. Microcontroller is receiving the card value and the card value is stored in external EEPROM memory with the swiped date and time. Details of the card swiping are retrieved by connecting the machine to a PC. After connecting to PC through serial port, valid password is required to retrieve the data. Upon successful entry of the password data will transfer from machine to PC.

SMS & Call Service Implementation for Mobile Phones Using 8051

             In this SMS & CALL SERVICE IMPLEMENTATION FOR MOBILE PHONES USING 8051 project we are going to implement sms and call service for mobile phones using 8051 micro-controller. We are also going to implement the multi-functional keypad by which we can type the messages and send the messages and we can call to a mobile. These functions satisfy the basic things in a mobile phone using 8051 controller.   SMS-&-CALL-SERVICE   Working Principle:

We are going to implement 4*4 keypad to micro-controller and write the code for multi-functional keypad .GSM modem is interfaced to the micro –controller using RS232 .we interface LCD to the controller. When we want to send a message  just type message using keypad  and  the message is send to mobile using Gsm modem.For call service we are going to type the number using keypad and press call button, we can interface a mic controller and a speaker for voice conversation.

Smart Card Reader and Writer with Attendance Access

 The aim of this SMART CARD READER AND WRITER WITH ATTENDANCE ACCESS project is to maintain the attendance of employee/student in computer. Nowadays so many companies and schools are maintaining their employee/students attendance in note only. It damage by insects or water or fire. Anybody can change their details easily. To avoid these disadvantages we developed this project. In this project the smart card contains the student/employee details. Whenever the person enter to the campus they have to insert the card into the card reader, that time the person details will stored in computer with current time.  

WORKING PRINCIPLE. 

This project is used to maintain the employee/student attendance. The student/employee details are stored in smart card. VB application software we can add/remove the person details. Before entering the room that person should insert the card in to the reader. Now the microcontroller will read the details of persons from card through reader slot. After reading the details the microcontroller sends these details to the VB application through serial port. The VB application software will receive the details from microcontroller and it will check with its database. If permission is available the software will store the person ID, date and time in its own database.

Embedded System Abstract on Smart Card Parking System

Smart card based automated parking system embedded system project explains about new technique for solving parking problems and provide easy method of parking. In present scenario people are not interested to take their cars to public places like shopping malls, gardens because time taken for parking procedure is late. This project will consider present parking system issues and develop advanced parking system.  In this new method users are provided with smart card while entering in to parking gate, and users will use this card for check in and check out of there vehicle. This application is integrated with messaging feature where users will receive message about parking space availability. This card can be used only for one time for next time he/she need to buy another card and this card can be used until amount in the card is completed. 

WORKING PRINCIPLE:  By paying the amount a smart card is given to the owner of the vehicle & the amount is stored in the database using VB software. If the person wants to park his/her two or four wheeler he/she has to insert the Smart card in the card reader slot, the microcontroller is programmed in such a way that when the card is detected  microcontroller will start the I2C communication to communicate with the smart card. The micro controller reads the amount from card & sends the data to the controller through serial port. The controller checks with the database for balance amount & for authorization if the card is valid and the amount present is sufficient, and then sends the permission to the micro controller to open the gate. If not permitted it will display “ACCESS DENIED” with buzzer sound.

Secured Voting Machine with Touch Screen and Smart Card

     Secured voting machine with touch screen and smart card embedded system project main idea is to develop a voting machine which can increase security of voting. This secured voting machine will provide a easy user friendly display and high security where there will be no chances of malpractice.  By developing this touch screen voting system project users can overcome disadvantages that are seen in present system. This system provides simple and easy procedure for voting where villagers can use it easily. And this will reduce rigging procedure in voting.  Here the Touch Screen with a micro Controller will be designed and connected to the voting Machine through the serial port of the computer. The voting symbols are displayed on the screen. IF a person has to vote he has to first swipe the card on the computer. The VB program in the Computer will capture the serial port. The PCB is designed by using Express PCB & the circuit is designed by using Proteus software.

RFID Access Control System and Security Webcam with Voice Acknowledgement

 The main aim of this RFID ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM  AND  SECURITY  WEBCAM WITH  VOICE  ACKNOWLEDGEMENT project is power security for companies or Lab. In this project we are using RFID.           In order to organize or control different access systems by person or items, this application should provide accurate security. So RFID is used to provide security by embedding access control in ID cards. These cards are used monitoring attendance and also prevent authorizing access.

Working: 

            Controller will check whether the tag identification number provided by the RFID reader have the access permission or not. If have, access permission will be provided to that particular person, i.e. door control signal enabled.  Otherwise an alert message will be sent to a predetermined mobile number and alarm will be activated. Each person’s entry timing and access permissions can be seen on the LCD.  EEPROM (AT24c04) is used to keep the employ database. Relay circuit regulates communication to controller by GSM module and computer. Computer is used to modify database and to list entry details. MAX 232 and ULN 2803 are used as line drivers.

Remote Control via Internet Using Ethernet Adaptor

 Remote control via internet using Ethernet adaptor embedded system project is used to monitor home equipment for remote location using internet as medium. This project is a integration of automation and security in to single unit. Continuous checking of sensors are done and details about the status of sensors and send to user PC. All this operations are done though LAN. This project document consists of abstract, block diagram and working principles. This project is developed using 8051 microcontroller and it requires Ethernet adaptor, LCD-Liquid crystal display, temperature sensors.

Remote Control Using LAN Network

 In many Organizations we will be having many devices which are located in remote places. If we want to control those devices, every time we should go to that place and make certain operations to control that device and get the job done.  For example if we want to print a document, for this work we want a printer in our place. If that Printer is placed far away from us, we have to goto that place and get our work done. But this consumes time. To overcome this problem we have developed a software that saves time and we can control remote devices through LAN. The main seek of this REMOTE CONTROL USING LAN NETWORK project is to develop a controlling system which will controls embedded devices through LAN network. Visual Basics is used to develop the front end. IN front end we can control many devices as well as we can add devices whichever we want to control through LAN.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:    

                                              This system uses Visual Basics software, which is deigned as the application platform monitors and co-ordinates with the embedded devices, attached to the LAN network. Using this project we can communicate with any embedded systems or machine connected to the LAN network. This project is mainly doing an application with the embedded LAN card available. This card mainly has a interface to the LAN network and it has a serial port .The micro controller with different devices will be connected according to the application. The remote through LAN means 4 or 5 relays will be connected and when from a PC if we want to control any of the relays or switch OFF or switch ON the relays we have to send a command telling switch off relay one with the IP address of that network etc .we can also do process control of machine the same way like always update the machine details like temperature, speed of the machine motor, or the productions of the machine etc.in this project we have totally 2 relays to switch on and off any device and also an input device to show the rpm of the motor and also update the computers which require this data.so on the computer screen we can see and also monitor the rpm of for example the fan motor rpm and also see the screen updated every second.

Remote Controlling Home Using Zigbee

Remote-controlling-Home-Using-ZigbeeIntroduction:                                  Remote controlling Home Using Zigbee embedded system project is used in  various home applications, such as home appliance controlling, security systems and automation etc are not very easy to do it manually with human interaction.             

            The fact is it is not possible to access these areas directly because of the some physical and technological problems. So it is better to employ some automated devices to monitor and control these devices or security systems.       

                  If it is a large housing colony, there will be a lot of   devices and security systems to monitor and control. Connecting different monitoring and control equipments in different houses are not possible. All the houses should be monitored and controlled with one master system and this is a best approach also. Inter connecting all houses with wires are also not practical. It should be wireless. A better way is a wireless network that can communicate in between houses and the main server. Here comes the importance of wireless home automation and monitoring system network based on Zig Bee.

 Abstract:                                  

  In this home automation and monitoring system, all the houses are fixed with sensors to capture different parameters and also with security systems. As the houses will be in different places we should do a wireless network to communicate with all the sensors fixed in different homes. For this wireless communication we use Zigbee protocol and technology to obtain a best result.     

        We use single board computers to collect sensor information and send to the master equipment. In order to maintain various parameters like pressure, vibration and temperature master equipment server is used.  Control different parameters will be done through communication between control equipment and control devices.                         For the prototype we will interface temperature sensors and vibration sensors and these data will be sending over radio (zigbee) to the server and monitor these parameters and relays to control different devices.
