Automatic Room Light Controller with Visitor Counter Using IR Sensor

AIM:

This AUTOMATIC ROOM LIGHT CONTROLLER WITH VISITOR COUNTER USING IR SENSOR project is designed and developed to control the ac power on/off with automatic room light using IR sensor.

DESCRIPTION: 

The light control depends on weather one person is in the room or not. Using ir sensor (tsop1738) we can find the person entered into the room or the person exit from the room; the no. of persons entered into the room counts by the micro controller and displays on the LCD. If any person entered, the ir sensor interrupts the micro controller then micro controller turn on/off the ac bulb by checking the count. In the absence of person in the room, the light automatically goes to the off position. For fast switching, we use triac ac control circuit resulting the power can save automatically.

RFID Based Office Attendance Logger Project Abstract

In this RF ID Based Office attendance Logger project we are going to develop an office attendance logger by using rfid reader. Every employee has a specific rfid card with unique employ ID. When ever he enters into the office the reader reads that id and stores the in time of the employee and if he leaves the office the system store the out time of the id.

     This application provides syncing method to computer using serial port communication. As every employs attendance details are stored in memory they can be erased any time after storing in computer. Data can be analyzed easily using this system. After memory is erased new attendance information can be stored in to memory.

Robot Pick and Place Projects Abstract

Robot Pick And Place Projects main idea is to develop a application which can reach places where humans cannot reach like space, hidden places, small tunnels. This Robot runs with human guidance.

 In this Robot pick and place application two servers motors are used to control the robot. Micro controller user’s kinematics algorithms to maintain position control on the motors. PWM channels of micro controller and MOSFET based power amplifiers and power transistors are used to control motors.

This robot is developed with two motors which make it more generic about hardware. All the logic is implemented in the software. That means by changing the software you can change almost everything as you like.

In general chemical industries depend on operators who will look after all this work by supervising temperature control or chemical level management but there are many cases these supervisors make mistakes. So it is better to implement a microcontroller sensor based systems which will look after all this work.

In this application user need to set maximum and minimum temperature limits based on their requirement which are called set points. Whenever temperature crosses this set points micro controller will set cooler to on which will cool the temperature. Similarly if temperature reaches less then set point micro controller will set heater on. 

Applications for this are Industries with heavy parameters to handle, complicated areas where we can’t monitor the conditions manually; these are Now-a-days used in all kind of industrial and commercial complexes.

PC Based Data Acquisition System Using SPI and I2C Protocol Abstract

PC Based Data Acquisition System Using SPI and I2C protocol projects main idea is to implement sensor system which can monitor parameters like temperature, pressure, humidity, light intensity …etc. In general sensors are effected by  atmosphere changes but these changes can be converted in to change in voltage.

Data Acquisition refers to reading the data continuously from any sensor. Here we are continuously monitoring the data through PC. We are concentrating mostly on serial communication. The data which we are receiving from the sensor is received by the microcontroller using ADC. Data monitoring is done in PC and for communication serial port communication is used. We can get the information like Date and Time along with our data.

 The data that is stored in the PC is easier to monitor or retrieve at any time compared to storing in a particular memory. Nowadays we are using the same process as storing the data in the PC in any kind of industries.

LPG Gas Detection Projects Abstract

LPG gas detection projects main idea is to implement security system for detecting leakage of gas in closed environment. In this project gas leakage is identified by using sensors which works only in closed environment. In present situation there are many cases related to gas leakage which cause innocent people lives and property damage. Implementing this application can be useful for companies, houses, which can save lives of people.

                        We use 8 bit microcontroller to perform the desired task by interfacing Gas sensor, Buzzer and LCD to display. The output of the Gas sensor is in analog form which can be converted into digital form using MCP3201 which is an ADC (Analog to Digital Converter). Initially when there is a leak the Gas sensor detects it and gives voltage related to the amount of gas that is getting escaped from the apparatus. We create a set-point to the microcontroller so as if the Gas sensor gives the output above the set-point the controller drives the buzzer ON as an indication to the user.
            
                     This can be used as an application in chemical and hazardous industries where there is a continuous need of monitoring the gas leaks. By using different kinds of sensors for every gas we can almost identify leaks for every kind of gases.

Super Intelligent Robot Using Smoke Sensor and Light Projects Abstract

AIM:

Super intelligent robot using smoke sensor and light projects main idea is to develop a robot application which can direct its path automatically based on light.

Description:

            In this project TCS230 is the color sensor, which senses color intensity and converts into frequency with 50% duty cycle Square waveform. Measurement of frequency is done using micro controller. This sensor is having internally 3 filters and is programmable, to select desired filter. By this we can get selected compositions of the irradiant light. By using this sensor we can find color of the object.

There are two other sensors used in this application mainly light sensing and smoke sensing. Light sensor is used to display color that falls on LDR surface and display color information on LCD display. And the other sensor smoke sensor is used to detect smoke and microcontroller will set alarm. 

Procedure:

            The LDR color sensor can directly interface with the microcontroller. If this color sensor is irradiant with any color, it produces 3 different frequency outputs to the microcontroller by selecting the respective RGB filters present in it. Then microcontroller calculates HUE % value with these three composition values. According to this calculated HUE value microcontroller displays that color name.

Industrial Safety Measures System with Sensors and Webcam Abstract

Industrial safety measures system with sensors and webcam projects main idea is to develop a application which can provide security for industries by using sensors and webcams. In industries like pharmaceuticals and chemical industries contnous monitoring is very important so this application will be very useful for in reality. 

For any application in the industries there are many parameters to be handled. In this project we are concentrating on temperature and smoke sensors. These sensors are fixed at specified locations, for our application to be performed. The Sensors gather the values and sends the information to the microcontroller continuously. The microcontroller receives the values and sends the corresponding values to the LCD to display. This is a cyclic process which performs till our requirement is done.

In order to reach project requirement we need to reach our standards by allotting certain set points for every sensor for monitoring. If the Temperature Sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Fan ‘ON’ and starts cooling. If the Smoke sensor crosses its specific Set-Point the microcontroller drives the Buzzer ‘ON’ and alerts the operator. This is under safety process. In this project we are connecting the webcam for visibility of changing the parameter conditions.

Vehicle Accessing Using Authentication Project Abstract

Vehicle accessing using authentication project main aim of this project is to develop a RFID based system for vehicle authentication. In this system RFID tags will communicate with RFID reader module at a frequency of 125KHZ. This frequency is passed to controllers for further usage. RFID reader and RFID tags must be set to same frequency for communication between them.

                        To obtain the required parameters we assign different RFID tags to every vehicle that is to be authorized to pass through. These RFID tags have a range of 8-10cm when ever the vehicle that is assigned with these RFID tags enters the ENTRY/EXIT gates the RFID reader recognizes the RFID Tag and accesses the prior permission to the vehicle by opening the gate. The Microcontroller reads the RFID tag code and displays the time of the vehicle ENTRY/EXIT by using RTC (Real Time Clock) and displays it on the LCD.

                        Application of this kind can be used in offices, apartments, industries, colleges, Government or Private Sectors where there is a need to allow only authorized or secured vehicles to ENTER/EXIT in a particular area or zone.

RFID Based Home/Office security system Project Abstract

This project RFID based Home/Office security system is developed to build a security system for a home/office to prevent the other persons to enter into the important room/chamber by controlling radio frequency identification by checking a suitable rfid card. 

            The rfid tag gives the unique id when ever it reads the card information. This id information is send to the micro controller to check the correct card to take a security action. If the card id matches with the original information, it allows entering into the room, if not gives the buzzer as an indication of wrong person tried to enter into the room.

In present system there are no efficient methods for accurate identifications, there are certain places where accuracy is important mainly in banking, health care and government sectors. This application will provide RFID tag based system which uses micro controller. 

RFID is one the fast growing technology all over the world for identifying and tracing goods. This system can help hospitals to find expensive equipment in less time and provide better services for patients. This technology is also widely used in pharmaceuticals and logistics.
