In this Implementation Of Image Compression Using DCT Mat Lab Final year Engineering project we are going to implement a lossy image and sound compressions technique where the discret cosine transform of the signal is performed, then calculated a threshold based on the compression ratio required by the user. The compression is done by using the Matlab toolbox and Matlab functions. The main aim of this project goes to compress the image size. there are different types of images available to compress those are jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, png, tif etc..

  1. We are doing project on color Image enhancement using nonlinear methods. In that we are focusing on alpha rooting algorithm, image enhancement by scaling DCT coefficient, Universal quality index metrics. How can I get MATLAB codes for all these algorithms?
