The main aim of this research is to understand and evaluate the impact and importance of succession planning across small business organizations. In general succession planning deals with training and developing the internal employees and promoting them to the higher level jobs within the organization and assigning the leadership to few departments of the organization and this involves many steps and issues and has the direct impact on the performance of the organization and the employees as well in many aspects.

Thus in this research Solar Trade Association is considered as the case study and the research will be conducted with the management and employees to understand their opinion and practice towards the implementation and issues with the succession planning and qualitative research will be adopted in this context. Based on the research findings and analysis the overall impact of Succession planning on small organizations like Solar Trade Association will be explored
