A Distributed And Scalable Routing Table Manager For The Next Generation Of IP Routers Project

A Distributed and Scalable Routing Table Manager for the Next Generation of IP Routers project Description:

A Distributed and Scalable Routing Table Manager for the Next Generation of IP Routers project is a 2008 cse networking project. In network communication handling transmission information is maintained through ip routing table but as the internet users growth is increasing rapidly and also the bandwidth requirements. In order to reach present standards we need to implement next generation of IP routers.

In this paper we explain about distributed architecture which can reach present standards by providing petabit routers with a high speed interface and large switching capacity. These routers are designed with high speed optical switch fabric interconnecting line cards which provide routing and forwarding tasks.

Detailed information about this project is provided in base paper and project report.
